The kids I having severe difficulties with thought processing so the place I work at talked about lowering to 400mg and 750mg depakote. His psychiatrist told us that he refused because I am not a psychiatrist and the on-staff is just a nurse despite decisions being made agreed by an actual psychiatrist. He can't even dress himself at current treatment. It's kind of sad that the goal is that he is capable of dressing himself within the first month and if unable begin transfer to higher level of care.

Churches need to get back to spreading the actual message of Jesus Christ.

A bunch of years ago my church, which didn't have an official stance on gay relationships, had a gay choir director. He'd been there for years and was widely loved. He didn't tell anybody at church, but eventually it got out that he had a partner. A significant portion of the church demanded that he be fired. People who had prayed, laughed, and cried with him suddenly saw him as somebody deserving of nothing.

Even though he had support from church leadership, this drove him not only away from my church but away from Christianity altogether. Last I knew, he never regained his faith.

My pastor was unable to take an official stance because of hierarchical problems (later fixed, but too late) but did give a sermon about the sin of driving people away from Christ. This was not enough.

I can only hope that you do not let this horrible experience drive you from God. There are people who love you. Loving your son is not wrong. I believe that you can find another church that will treat you right.

I've never understood how churches like this could think they're loving without twisting love the ways abusive parents do until it means cruelty and abuse. The Bible should be our guide for spiritual matters. Using it as a guide for matters outside the spiritual is abusing it, not respecting it. It's not a science text and it shouldn't be used as such

The hate for trans people is growing to a crescendo, fueled by the personal anti-trans obsessions of some of history's most wealthy people, and the advantage many politicians find in stoking it. Obviously "Jesus is an obedient attack dog, kept tightly leashed by the world's wealthiest and most powerful, hating whoever they command him to hate" is absurd on the face of it, but... well, we live in an absurd era.

We (and every other subreddit) are required to uphold the Reddit Sitewide Rules, and you (because you're using Reddit) are required to abide by them.

One of those rules prohibits Targeted Harassment, and one expression of Targeted Harassment is "anything that contributes to persuading someone else to cease using Reddit".

That includes moderators of other communities, and other communities.

We also want to keep the topic in this subreddit focused on Conservative Terrorism.

Terrorism towards various demographics as expressed by the Trump administration and its supporters can be in a wide range of expressions both subtle and overt, however

Reddit, Inc. has a particular narrow definition of what is and is not an expression of terrorism - one which doesn't cover such things as "I was banned from /r/Subreddit, after posting / commenting something opposing Conservative Terrorists, therefore the operators of that subreddit are Terrorists / Terrorist Sympathisers".

It also doesn't cover "the audience of /r/SubReddit have cognitive dissonance about their support of hateful policies (which policies are arguably terroristic in nature), here, check out their posts and a selection of comments, these rubes, these pols, these maroons".

This subreddit is not a Sneer Club. We aren't here to Gawk at Other People On Reddit Being Hypocrites.

We're also not here to amplify their hateful messages by reposting them here.

So, here are some ground rules:

1: Do Not Post Here About Other Subreddits.

Don't screenshot them, don't post them here.

2: Do Not Participate In Subreddits You KNOW WILL NOT WELCOME YOUR PARTICIPATION.

Don't post there, don't comment there, don't modmail them, don't @ their moderators or participants elsewhere. Boundaries are important - even the boundaries of closeted, in-denial bigots who burp "States' Rights" as an answer to everything.

• we know that literal terrorists - US NATIONALS literally convicted of felony terrorism in the United States, WHICH IS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE - make "false flagging as their targets and making violent threats online" one of their go-to methods to terroristically break movements and communities and draw down powerful persecution of them. • KINDERGARTENERS LEARN NOT TO DO IT. REDDIT IS FOR PEOPLE OVER 13.

So don't do it, 'K? And don't enable it. Hit Report on any threats you see, even the cutesy "Mario Brothers" and "in Minecraft" ones.

Because, at the end of the day, when the Trump administration goons show up at my doorstep to extraordinarily rendition me to Gitmo, I would like the world to know it is because I am transgender and didn't bend the knee to their fricking terrorism — not because "This subreddit has been temporarily banned due to a prevalence of violent content. Inciting and glorifying violence or doxing are against Reddit's platform-wide Rules. In case you aren't familar with them (a good thing), Hasan Piker and Ethan Klein (H3H3) are leftist content creators that for awhile collabed together and even had a podcast. That all changed after the Oct 7th incident as Hasan went full r-slur with pro-Palestine rhetoric while Ethan and his wife, who served in the IDF, naturally disagree with a lot of it. That relationship fell apart quickly and Ethan recently came out with a HECKING CONTENT NUKE!!!!!

A near goddarn 2 hour video about Hasan that didn't add anything new that Hasan's biggest haters (Destiny fans) didn't already know. Now apparently he's got a second video cooking up that apparently will accuse Hasan of solicting fans for nudes. Considering Destiny fans have made it their life's work to bring down Hasan, I find it hard to believe something that could cancel Hasan from more than just the Minecraft community would have not gotten picked up from those weaponized neurodivergents.

The LSF thread itself is filled with redditors thinking it will be a nothingburger like the last one. Destiny fans ing when anyone brings up his male feminist stuff.
