Steer tires cost $800 plus a service call. Tires with damaged sidewalls can't just be patched and must be replaced if replacements can be found.

If you don’t know big truck tires are literally compressed air bombs. Slashing one would probably result in at least your hand getting blown off so this kind of idea should be encouraged.
