This kind of scandal NEVER ends well in communities as small as these. Larger companies can get away with this kind of shit because most people don't know/care. Spaces as small as watercooling? Word gets around fast because almost everyone is keeping an eye/ear out. A different scandal happened in the home theater space where Lexicon got caught taking cheap products from other companies and slapping their own label on them without changing anything (except the price by a factor of 10x), ruined their reputation permanently and now the brand is essentially dead weight in Harman's lineup. Didn't matter that they had made some of the finest home theater equipment in the past, the brand's reputation was effectively ruined. With the half-assed apology and the fact that EK has already been slipping in terms of quality over the years, I can't see them coming back from this. Will they still be around? Perhaps, but I don't think they'll be nearly as big as they once were in the industry after this and there's no way that whatever crawls out of the ashes is going to be able to offer anything even remotely close to their current catalog. They'll have their loyalists I'm sure but there's no way they'll be able to maintain the brand as it stands.

Some 30 police officers in Sweden provoked public outrage in yet another major scandal involving gang activity. A few months ago a new makeup brand called Youthforia caught some flak from black beauty creators because their foundation shade range was basically non-existent for black people, and that's not allowed unless you're a Korean or Japanese brand (for obvious reasons). The owner of the brand (who is asian but is American and Youthforia is an American brand) actually came out and tried to defend their shade range by UNIRONICALLY saying it was a SOCIAL EXPERIMENT and was met with even more criticism because we all aren't fricking BLIND and that's STUPID. AND all of the shades on the box were NOT the shades that you get in the bottle so darker shades were actually even lighter than advertised which only made people more upset.

SO to appease the masses Youthforia expanded their shade range and introduced like 5 new shades for darker skintoned people and now everyone wants to burn down their HQ.

IT'S FRICKING SHOE POLISH BLACK. This shade is a literal asian-on-black hate crime and everyone is soooooper mad because it's LITERALLY black face paint. The shade is being compared to minstrel makeup and now Youthforia is sooper raycist.

Like you know if Time fricking magazine orders a rush job article about your debacle you done fricked up good.

Anyhoo tiktok is all abuzz with their pitchforks and you can pick pretty much any video about it and watch jaqqoffs slaughter each other in the comments with whataboutism and "muh cousin's neighbor is black like a tire and would love this!"

This is true but that doesn't negate the idea that a bear may be less dangerous. Even grizzly bears aren't likely to attack you just because, they often hear people coming at a distance and flee. If you had antagonjsed both options, either take the man for a better chance at survival or take the bear to potentially be killed quicker if the man is unarmed.
