Going to try to summarize the comments post so far,

I believe he is cheating because he is a serial cheater and we've had many issues with cheating in the past. We will break up for a few months, get back together, and kinda repeat.

We've been doing this for 8 years in April. He originally told me he would be here Thursday night, but told me he had a morning meeting at 6am Friday and didn't think he could make the 6hr drive to come see me and preform in this meeting. I was upset, but we talked not out and he was supposed to come Friday night/valentines day night, he was distant Valentine's Day, but said work was ready busy, I didn't think much of it, then this interaction happened:

Confirming he was at home alone, but also he has Brie for dinner which seemed… off?

Anyways, he was acting depressed, and wanting to be nice I ordered him roses and his favorite candy to his house. I told him to expect a delivery within the hour. He left this message read but did not answer. Which was … super bizarre? So I at that moment had the idea to message the door dasher asking about a second car in the drive way.

She asked if I still wanted her to complete the delivery, and I was like, uh, yes, and I'll send an extra 10$ if you loudly say " this is a gift from your girlfriend " dasher agreed, but even though she rang the door bell and knock repeatedly, the dude would not answer.

While talking to the driver, I said something like " what the heck, I've been dating this man for almost 8 years" which triggered the chat to close, I about screamed in frustration, but I did leave the dasher 20$ as a tip for her detective work.

Currently, laying in bed obsessing over this with my cats while pretending that I'm driving the 6 hours to my soon to be exs house and confronting him. If he doesn't answer by the end of this count down I'm just going message something like. " I saw what I need to see, I'm driving home" and actually have some leverage for his stupid lies when he does come around to answering me.

left wing clipped it to defame the right wing govt about their association with such "vulgar" people. the right wing ( @Sasanka_of_Gauda basically) went in apeshit overdrive to kill the connection by metaphorically killing the man themselves. other indians joined in their favourite passtime after r*pe, mob lynching. chief ministers of several states are personally name dropping them, police is raiding their computers, rounding up everyone from the day 1 episode 1, opportunists are planning to introduce censorship laws, libertarian right wings are clenching their jaws over their low iq compatriots, people are using "motherlover" while condemning incestuous jokes. RA is crying and apologizing. meanwhile Samay Raina is touring US while chilling cuz "life is unfair". zoomers are seething over their skibidi potty going away. media is making shit up literally to fill airtime. parliamemtary committees are being formed

Civ 7 is just a Western colonist cosplaying as other civs

Really weirds me out that no matter who you play as, Spices and Sugar etc. are considered exotic.

Even if you play as a civ that historically would start near sugar or spice, for example Indonesia, you are forced to experience the world as if that were just not true. What happened to historically accurate civ start biases?

Makes the whole experience feel like you are a western colonist who has put on the costume of another culture.

The choice to make distant lands mechanics allow other civs to start there but not human players makes the whole experience lopsided and feels way less like you are on even footing with other civs in an open world map, and more like you as a human have a special role in this world of AIs who get special spawns and are entirely excluded from certain win conditions.

A Cal Fire captain was found stabbed to death inside of her San Diego County home on Monday and authorities are still searching for the suspect.

Deputies were dispatched to the 20200 block of Rancho Villa Road in Ramona at around 9 p.m. on Monday after learning of an assault that happened in the area, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office.

Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds, deputies said. Despite attempted life-saving measures the woman was declared dead at the scene.

On Tuesday, the victim was identified by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, as Rebecca Marodi, 49, a 30-year firefighting veteran who was stationed in French Valley just north of Temecula.

Thus far into their investigation, Sheriff's Homicide Unit detectives have yet to identify a suspect or motive in the incident, but they suspect that Marodi "knew the perpetrator and are treating this case as a potential domestic violence incident."

According to Cal Fire officials, Marodi began her firefighting career in 193 as a volunteer firefighter in Moreno Valley. She then served as a seasonal Fire Fighter I from 1994 to 2000 in San Bernardino and Riverside before she was promoted to Fire Fighter II. In 2007, she was promoted to a Fire Apparatus Engineer and to Captain in 2022.

She was previously stationed in Perris, Home Gardens, Indian Wells, Menifee, North Rancho Mirage and Temecula before ending up with French Valley Station 83.

"Beyond her operational assignments, Captain Marodi was deeply involved in Peer Support and Hazmat, always prioritizing the well-being of her colleagues," the Cal Fire statement said. "Her legacy of mentorship, service, and dedication will be felt for years to come. Her passing is a profound loss to her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside her."
