When people ask if you are pregnant and you aren't...

I was shopping at Victoria's Secret, and I asked the saleswoman for help. She leaned in an asked if I was pregnant. When I said no, she said, "Are you sure?" When I angrily said NO again, she said, "You look like you are about 4 months along."

It makes me sad when I see pregnant posts on social media and women are bragging about their baby bumps. I have Crohn's Disease, and I've had a bit of a belly for most of my life, while the rest of my body is skinny. Their baby bumps look like my everyday life. Perhaps it's a combination of knowing I never want to be pregnant but having so many people in my life tell me I should have kids + feeling hurt that many people have ASKED me if I am pregnant because of my bloating.

As a woman, I just want to be valued for more than how my body looks or what creatures my body can produce. :p

*EDIT: The VS incident happened a little while ago, so I won't be able to complain to the manager or report her, but I have just been feeling a lack of confidence in my body lately and been seeing so many pregnant posts, I am currently feeling triggered. Since the incident at VS, several other people have asked the same rude question, but that one was by far the worst because she would not let it go. So.... thanks redditors for the support. :)

For context, if you use the progressive stack award, your posts are (temporarily) treated as if they have 2x their actual upkongs. This was thought of as so powerful by the jannies that it costs 1500 coins for just 6 hours. Now, if you make a post that gets 140 upkongs, and at the same time someone makes an effortpost that gets 30 upkongs, or chud ragebait that gets 50 upkongs, your post will actually be below them on the front page. In fact, since upkongs are basically normally distributed (getting 30 upkongs is pretty average, getting 90 makes yours one of the top posts of the day, getting 150 would make it the top post of the day), any sort of multiplier would change the content of the front page immensely, let alone a multiplier so large it treats mediocre effortposts and slightly above average chud ragebait as superior to the actual top post as chosen by users.

The fact that /h/chudrama is blocked by default is irrelevant, because most active users have it unblocked, so even if you block /h/chudrama every post you make is still effectively being deranked. And besides, there are plenty of people who want to read /h/chudrama and not have it be literally the only thing they see on the front page

I think people are getting way too caught up with small differences in a cinematic trailer. Geralt looked different in TW3 cinematic trailers. I don't think there's anything toxic about that.Action movies' and video games' main customer is dudes. It can work ... but it's a risky move to create a video game and/or action movie that doesn't cater to your main customer base. If design decision 1 is "let's make it harder for our our primary customer base to engage with our main protagonist", it may be worth considering if that decision is worth the risk. (-8)

I'm one who probably won't buy the game on day one. I doubt I'm literally the only person on earth who feels this way. My purchase is at risk. For context ... this is one of my favorite gaming series (only 2nd behind Mass Effect) that I've played since W1 in 2007.It's anecdotal ... as someone who's played RPGs in various forms for decades, it's hard to not notice that most people roll characters of their own gender when given the option. Reuters & AP are paid as wire services. US law requires agencies to publish via the register and wire services when they make administrative changes, its how people find out what they are doing. Multiple agencies (particularly state & DOD) also pay for wire subscriptions as its a cheap intelligence source.

The main difference is Amazon offers free shipping and free hassle free returns. Other retailers charge you to return products you order from them and usually charge you shipping to get them

fyi hassle free returns = products go directly in the garbage (cheaper than sorting through the products) and Amazon bakes the cost into higher prices for everyone due to the high volume of returned items

FYI the exact same thing happens when you return it to the manufacturer.

The only difference is that it's substantially easier to return a product to Amazon vs most manufacturers.
