Here's what I did. I called my congressional representative (R) hoping to leave a message but instead his staff picked up. I awkwardly stumbled my way through why I think Elon Musk is insanity. Could tell the sweet little republican staffer hated her life so much as she said, "I'll pass that along." :) I also called my senators and complained again.
Finally, and my personal fave thing I did today, I rolled down my car windows on the way back from school drop off and BLARED the FDT rap by YG & Nippsey Hussle. I made one VT girl's day when she smiled at me because of the song and then I literally yelled "frick Donald Trump" at the top of my lungs. She started laughing in her car. I also made quite an impression on a car full of frat bros who probably voted for him.
Viva la revolución, Dramatards.
Burgers why are you like this?
These are the times which try men's souls.

If you want to see some terrible acting, watch a K-drama from the 2000s that has a white "American" character in it. It's always some guy with a moderately thick accent (probably central European) who seems like they just grabbed him off a college campus, forced to memorize a few lines of dialogue, and then put in front of the camera. I strongly suspect it seems like that because that was exactly what they were doing.
The woodenist performance ever is Kim Tae-hee in Love Story at Harvard. It's like teak. She's as bad as the random white people. But she's one of the most beautiful women in the world so they kept casting her and eventually with experience she got pretty good.
And the writing was done by some gook who knows English about as well I know French. Sometimes they're so incoherent you can't even understand what the character is trying to say even though they're supposed to be from your country. Why did you not get a fluent English-speaker to look over this dialogue before you put in a big production worth millions of dollars? It's not like they're a rare commodity. There's about 25,000 American troops in Korea and God knows how many there for college, business, heck even tourists. (It's probably because of fricked-up labor laws, but that's a story for another time.)
I wanted to show something really really badass but google doesn't even give you relevant images these days.
You could go to Gwanghwamun Square and grab some random American tourist and give them a sheet of paper with the white guy scene and ask them to make it more natural. They take 10 minutes to fix your mistakes. You reward them by making them extras. They're the scary soldier with a gun standing behind the "American" character or something. They go home and watch your drama and are beyond overjoyed when they see themselves on the screen.
Yi Sun-Sin. Now there's a chad for you. Defeated the Japanese, a fierce and worthy opponent, on many occasions despite the odds. Right now he's up there on the couch with Nelson and de Ruyter rewatching the first season of 24.
They show it to all their relatives, of course. One is a college student who tells her friends that they have got to see this. Another is some kid who goes to friends and says "dude, look at this weird chingchong stuff I found". Soon it becomes a cultural phenomenon. Ordinary people walk around wearing gats and saying "anyang" to each other as a greeting. By 2015 Americans are mostly making dramas now, shows that actually bring the story to a conclusion at the end and don't try to set up a new season. Netflix's selection now: K-dramas, telenovelas, these new American dramas, Star Trek, or the Rockford Files.
How the average American man dresses in 2025. (He actually made it himself which I think is pretty cool.)
In this new interplay of cultures, while we're under Korean tutelage sometimes the teacher learns as much as the student. Concepts like:
How to tell a story where there is no romantic relationship at the core of it.
Eating food that actually tastes good, not what your grandmother did.
How to not eat dogs. (Remember our fantasy is in the 2000s when that was still not completely over.)
Aspects of Christianity beyond just pissing off your neighbors with a gigantic neon cross lit at all hours.
Why building codes are supposed to be followed, not considered a challenge to be beaten.
How to use the advanced features of the dishwasher. It does more than just store your dishes!
Why it's better for your kid to actually learn than just bribe their teacher.
Men and women can actually get along reasonably well sometimes if they want to.
Long after our cultures have fused, when brave men and agassis roam the stars, they will look back at this time and think "Aigoo! Who were our people back then? The Koreans or the Americans?" What a silly question. It's like trying to decide if Goryeo, Baekje, or Silla were the real Koreans. Is this a story about nations, or is it a story about all people learning that we have one common heart?

gather round - this all started weeks ago, bored at work on a conference call I came up with a plan - a plan to troll ted simp, though as it progressed i would actually start to feel bad, I would never reveal any of this as I actually felt bad about the things I said to her, but after the events of tonight she's opted for war, to smear me, to delude herself into thinking I'd ever actually be interested in her. Well dramafriends, the liquor flows through me, let me reveal what actually happened here, so after she ends up killing herself from being taken advantage of by yet another predator, you can know I have clean hands.
This all started with me telling her she probbaly isn't even crazy (WHO WOULD EVER BELIEVE ME SAYING THAT?)
after this I added her on groomercord, and I have a pass from the owner of this website himself to post groomercord images.
now let's move on.
i can post more of this bs if you want - but as you can see, I made it clear I had no interest in ever sleeping with her.
now let's see what I was dming OTHER people at the exact same time to showcase my A) intents of trolling her at first, B) my ethics intervening after.

Holy shit it is bleak. There are three Harry Potter books in there and two Hunger Games books in there in the top 10 best books.
Then you compare it to the best books of the 20th century ( still one harry potter book in there in top 10 but they are still doing way better than the 21st century.
How did the quality of the "greatest" works fall down so quickly. It is like humanity has forgotten how to write anything with any depth anymore and it is all at the level of quality of teenage story writing.
Is it simply over for the writing genre as a whole or is it that the best quality writing is actually no longer being recognized as the best because it didn't sell enough copies nor got enough appreciation from writing critics, or is it that there is a complete disconnect between what the average person considers enjoyable writing and what is considered actually good high brow writing?
I think it is a shift in medium where all the people looking for depth and high quality in their literary works moved on to movies and video games instead and all who are still hanging around the writing genre are those who will pick a random niche and the general books based on lowest common denominator which is teenage angst or teenage wonderment slop.
What this means is that the writing genre is going to keep going further down in quality over time and we need to look at the possible extinction of reading one day if everything turns out to be possible to be done by video because people are clearly getting worse at appreciating literature while getting a whole lot better at their expectations and appreciation of better video entertainment content.
Conclusion:
In terms of ease of entry into the writing department this is the easiest time period. In terms of making money from it, likely one of the harder time periods. We can expect the quality of writing meant for general audiences to have reached the lowest floor and never rise above it again this generation. The Zoom zooms are too r-slurred when it comes to quality writing in just a book.
Also if you still read Harry Potter books, READ ANOTHER BOOK!

In case you've been living under a rock, Ariana Grande, pop singer superstar and current actress in the movie Wicked, destroyed two marriages to be with this very ugly looking man named Ethan Slater:
She was married to this man, Dalton Gomez, when she had an affair with Ethan:
(There aren't a lot of pictures of Dolton, since he was pretty low key, but he's way better looking than Ethan)
Ethan was also married during this affair. Ethan's wife and him had been together since high school. His wife had just given birth, and it was a high risk pregnancy as well. The sick thing is that apparently Ari met Ethan's wife and even held their newborn baby while this affair was secretly happening and the wife had zero clue. Here's what Ethan's wife looked like:
We could talk about what huge piece of crap Ariana and Ethan are for being selfish and not thinking about how they were destroying two families. But I don't really care about that right now. Instead, I want to talk about why Ariana FREAKING Grande decided to be a homewrecker for such an ugly guy. I mean look at him:
The thing is, even Ari's die hard fans do not like Ethan and don't understand why someone as hot as her would ruin her reputation for such an uggo. It would be one thing if he was mega rich or talented, but he's neither of those things, his biggest role before Wicked was playing freaking Sponge Bob in some musical. Ethan's wife was the breadwinner and making more money than Ethan. And if you're thinking "Well maybe he's super charismatic!", he isn't. You can look up interviews with him, he has zero charm or charisma.
Everyone was confused, until someone pointed out something disturbing. Ethan Slater looks exactly like Ariana's brother, Frankie Grande. And I don't mean they kind of look alike, I mean they look like twins separated from birth. See for yourself:
Ethan on the left, Frankie on the right.
Frankie on the left, Ethan on the right
Someone decided to only photoshop Ethan's hair on Frankie. Ethan on the right, Frankie on the left.
For those who are unaware, Ariana and Frankie are super close. They are BFFs and Ari has made it no secret that she cares about Frankie more than just about anyone in her life. With that in mind, it kind of makes sense, in a sick sort of way. Ari can't frick her brother (He's literally gay so he's not interested in her even if they both wanted to act like they're from Alabama ) so what does she do? She goes for someone who looks just like him, but isn't related!
Obviously we can't say for sure that this is why Ari went for Ethan. But it is the theory that makes the most sense, seeing as how Ethan has zero other redeeming qualities. This theory has gained so much popularity that people have started noticing that Frankie has recently changed up his hair and makeup, in a possible attempt to make himself look more different from Ethan:
Idk how well it's working, they both look related still lol
What does rDrama think? Is Ari subconsciously trying to get with her brother, or it just a coincidence? Either way, ever since Ari has been with him, her looks have downgraded:
