I never got Thailand. Like Philippines I could still understand turning out like that. All the stars aligned in their case historically. But Thais were independent thru colonial phase, weren't ever extremely poor, didn't see extensive deployment of foreign militaries. They should've been a country like Malaysia/Indonesia, not this massive open air brothel they are. Even now Thais are probably second among the ASEAN countries in industrialization, Malays being first. And even if they can't do without the touristbuxx, sexpats bring down entire sector's reputation to non sexpats. And even if it didn't, it takes a really sick soyciety to be fine with this shit.

A federal judge, in a ruling late Friday evening, has denied an effort to block the Department of Government Efficiency from accessing sensitive data from the Department of Labor.
