Don't take this the wrong way— Do you actually look like your photos? Or are they a collage of you on your best day, and not rooted in reality?

I've walked out on dates. It's almost 100% of the time because the person misrepresented themself in some way. Maybe they hid something obvious. Maybe they were in denial about aging or weight fluctuation. He could have also built you up in his mind into someone you're not, and then panicked when he was met with reality (this has also happened to me) Who knows. But yea, for leaving after 5 mins, I'm guessing it had to do with an unmet expectation.

You start off controlling 1 out of 7 nations in a WW1 setting. You're given 3 units (naval units and ground units) and 3 main cities. Your objective is to capture 18 "supply centers" scattered across the map. You are allowed to publish public announcements through the "press" (i.e rile up drama) or start private correspondences with other players. There is nothing that obliges you to honor alliances or compromises with other players.

That's the general gist of it. There's also a small number of simple combat/logistical mechanics to it. Easy to learn but hard to master yadda yadda. IMO it's one of the best strategy boardgames (despite being 60 odd years old) out there. Would anyone want to start an online game ?

GENEVA, Feb 7 (Reuters) - More than six million people could die from HIV and AIDS in the next four years if U.S. President Donald Trump's administration pulls its global funding for programmes, the United Nations AIDS agency said on Friday.

Although a waiver was placed on HIV/AIDS programmes in last month's U.S. foreign aid funding freeze, many concerns remained about the future of treatment programmes, the deputy executive director of UNAIDS told reporters in Geneva.

Trump put hundreds of millions of dollars' worth of foreign aid donations on hold for 90 days upon taking office on January 20. In the following days, the U.S. State Department issued a waiver on the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) - the world's leading HIV initiative - for life-saving humanitarian assistance.

While welcoming the waiver, Stegling stressed the situation remains chaotic.

Amid a broader decline of funding, Stegling warned there would be a 400% increase in AIDS deaths if PEPFAR financial support is not re-authorized between 2025 and 2029.

"That's 6.3 million people, 6.3 million AIDS-related deaths that will occur in future...Any penny, any cut, any pause, will matter for all of us" she said, urging U.N. member states to step in.

"In Ethiopia, we have 5,000 public health worker contracts that are funded by U.S. assistance. And all of these have been terminated," Stegling said.

She highlighted that community clinics were facing the biggest interruption as they are "entirely dependent" on U.S. government funding.

She expressed concern that some people may not come forward for treatment, which could in turn increase new HIV infections.

U.S. donations account for the majority of global funding for the U.N. programme that operates in 70 countries, leading global efforts to end AIDS as a public health threat by 2030.

Trump's administration says it is reviewing all foreign-aid programmes to see if they align with his "America First" policy.

The embargo for reviews of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has lifted. We don't have a review on the site here at Polygon. This is not an editorial decision; we had hoped to review the game. On Jan. 2, Polygon requested a code for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 from Warhorse Studios, the studio behind the game, and received no response. On Jan. 7, we reached out to the PR firm working with Warhorse, who told us they were "not able to provide access. We'll let you know if this changes." We reached out to parent company Plaion on Jan. 9 as well — no response. On Jan. 10, we saw our peers publishing early previews for the game. We re-upped our request and were again told we would not be given access.

Nor did we receive the requested clarification on why the developers of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 declined to provide Polygon access to the game.

One of my favorite parts of Starfield is the array of amazing characters. I love spending time with them, especially the members of Constellation. They may be part of the same group but they have different interests and viewpoints which make you think about the nature of the universe. I thought I'd share some of my favorite Starfield characters with you. I don't expect @ToeBeans to read this because she hates me intensely, but writing about Starfield helps me feel better about the malice in the world. I don't know, it's just a calming game to think about which is nice when the real world treats you so harshly. I thought @ToeBeans was my friend but I was sorely mistaken. The pain and betrayal I feel are beyond words. I feel so down and depressed. But after this post it's time for Starfield!

Sarah Morgan

It should come as no surprise, but my favorite character is Sarah Morgan. She is the Chair of Constellation, which is a group of scientists and space explorers. She is a good leader who is brave and infinitely curious about the cosmos. Although she is an excellent researcher, she prefers to go out doing fieldwork and visiting different planets. Her life hasn't always been easy. She spent some time in Cydonia, a settlement on Mars, where she was stuck doing research for a while. She also served with the United Colonies military whereshe was exposed to traumatic events on the planet Casseopia I. In addition to being a good explorer, she is also skilled in botany and piloting spaceships. When faced with mysteries, she tends to turn to science for answers. She doesn't entertain religious ideas much.

He is charismatic, but he is also smart and a good cook. When he's on the crew, he'll always make funny comments as we travel. He often travels in his large ship called the Frontier.

He also has a robot friend named Vasco. Vasco is a robot assistant created by Lunar Robotics. He is very curious about humans.

1. Noel - She is a scientist at the Lodge, which is the headquarters of Constellation. Noel is very interested in learning more about the artifacts that Constellation has found.

2. Matteo - He is the most spiritual member of Constellation. He is part of the Va'Ruun religion, and he believes there is something spiritual behind the events they witness. I tend to side with Matteo's view of the universe, and I wish they gave his character a more prominent role.

So I make breastmilk and memorial jewelry and there's a big company in China that manufactures the jewelry. There's actually even a really big well known brand that's I've seen that uses their jewelry and lots of smaller businesses do too. I've looked and looked and LOOKED to find something else but there's nothing like them.

My husband is a Trump guy even though he says he doesn't like him. We've had discussions about the tariffs and he's saying that it's corrective to bring jobs back to the US.
