Most of those weren't recent though, or she was shown at an off angle. This was probably the only recent one that was a close up of her face, which is what it makes sense to use in news reports especially in the days of film photos that weren't easy to enlarge. And also it was likely the only one easily accessible since they could get it from the school. It's not like they could go on her Instagram.Also that photo, while not the most flattering, is what she looked like at the time—like a lot of 14 year olds, she was going through an awkward period. Calling it dehumanizing is pretty offensive and kind of similar to the bullying she got in school. (12)

As I have stated publicly, I had noting whatsoever to do with the flying of that flag. I was not even aware of the upside-down flag until it was called to my attention. As soon as I saw it, I asked my wife to take it down, but for severals days, she refused.

My wife and I own our Virginia home jointly. She therefore has the legal right to use the property as she sees fit, and there were no additional steps that I could have taken to have the flag taken down more promptly.

Let's take this at face value. People make sacrifices for their spouses every day. Whether it's picking up the kids from school when it's not your day, moving to a new state because your spouse got a new job, or moving across the country because your spouse got new orders.

Today in Delhi top temp is around 46 C, which sounds crazy hot to us westerners, but it's totally normal for the hottest days of the year in that part of India, and is expected to drop in the next days.

The underlying crime is not defined (though it needs to be, otherwise this is a due process violation as Trump was never on notice of what that even was....). The judge has said the jury doesn't have to agree on what the underlying crime actually is. Which is psycho upside down world. But what do you expect from our friends on the left. (-7)

I'm reasonably certain it isn't. A quick look shows that New York actually had a bit of a history of this until a very recent SCOTUS ruling that said "frick you it's unanimous." Not that this judge cares about justice at all but this right here is just asking to get b-word slapped by higher courts. Granted the goal isn't to actually win this case properly or get Trump on anything in the long term; it's to get him on anything just long enough to keep him off the ballot or disqualify him.This is disgusting. Absolutely fricking disgusting. This trial should be ended immediately and the judge never allowed to preside over anything ever again. Respectfully, the law itself only requires for the intent to do X to be present when Y is committed. The defendant need not have committed X, thus a guilty verdict for X is not needed. What is needed is clear and convincing evidence of the intent for X; else defendant will be acquitted. There is no presumption of intent - it must be proven to the jury beyond reasonable doubt. Additionally - isn't it standard practice for related, stacked charges against a single defendant to be litigated in the same proceedings even when X being committed (instead of intended) is the requirement for conviction. (1)

It is standard to litigate multiple related crimes ar once, but the jury must render a verdict on all charges. Without actually generating a verdict for the precedent charge the prosecution can create an appearance of guilt without needing to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that that guilt exists. Again, if the jury were to come back and say, on charge x, the defendant is guilty, and in furtherance of that charge the defendant is guilty of y then there would be a crime in furtherance of a crime, but in the absence of guilt on crime x then even with intent to cover up the alleged x, it cannot be shown that the defendant was acting with criminal intent.
