@timmy_blueballs have only watched the killcount video but it already looks kino too me. It feels like what an actually good sequel too the original alien should have been.
The android is a good fighter.
Nobody seems too r-slurred.
The aliens can actually be killed with future guns. They are just better hunters and killers than humans. So the horror is less they killed us all out of nowhere and more even if you know what's going on they are simply better at this killing business than you and it shows in the results.
The new alien type every alien franchise movie has is actually scary this time.
If feels closer too what the power balance between the aliens and sci fi humanity is actually supposed too be rather than the "our pewpew doesn't work on them" quality movies we were previously getting. You could actually go too war with them and lose over the course of months too years.
All in all it is one of the good alien movies.
@timmy_blueballs would give it a good 4/5 or 8/10 you should give it a try. It's a good blend of sci fi horror.
Also one of you kino people do a proper review of the movie.
@timmy_blueballs stand with Israel.

Also, Lilly Evangeline was hot af.
@arsey couldn't get into Jack because of his Party of Five days, but god darn Sawyer was hot.
Hurley was a lovable fat man rather than current year male feminist kitties.
The ending sucked but @arsey's god @arsey loved LOST.

All I heard about this movie is it made a billion dollars and that it was good, but I'm watching it and couldn't help but laugh at this actual checklist of racial diversity. I'm not even talking about chuds being mad about it, how are progressives not annoyed about how soulless this pandering is?

nah but seriously ive always found a flaw in batman's no kill rule: he specifically doesnt want to kill joker in order to stop him because he doesnt want to take a life that could be rehabilitated right? so killing is out of the question and letting others kill him also isnt. alright so why doesnt he just r*pe the joker? because the joker is motivated by a want to become a matyr or otherwise is okay with being beat up, but surely the trauma of a r*pe would rewire his brain to not wanting to be a criminal any more? either that or he's homosexual and enjoys it and will reform for the peepee
i've always thought about this and it's shocked me it's never come up before

Created the terminator series. Which has gone fully slop but is still releasing movies till date.
Made the Alien franchise good. Which is still releasing high quality horror in current year.
Created the Avatar franchise. Which everybody forgets about a week after watching but are the biggest thing ever when they release.
Helped produce Alita Battle Angel. Which is kino. I recommend it to you guys.
Made the Titanic film. Which won over the female audience. ( This director is clearly very versatile and has found success in multiple genres )
Is the most relevant figure in the richest directors in the world list as he has had the most recent releases out of all those including himself and those above him.
3 of the top 10 highest grossing films of all time ( Including number 1 ) are directed by him.
When he releases Avatar 3 he will have the 4 highest grossing films of all time under his name.
In conclusion:
James Cameron is the greatest director of all time
I stand with Israel.
( Quick Note : Also I hear the directors he mentored have had decent careers too. )

Added a New Subreddit Rule (self.PhilosophyTube) submitted 14 days ago by RealPhilosophyTube
Hi all!
I added new rule - 'Please No Backseat Acting.' This is a tough one because I don't want people to feel they can't express their honest opinions or that they have to be 100% positive all the time, but I think this subreddit isn't the place for criticism of my acting. If I need feedback on a performance I can get it from my directors and colleagues. I think if I have to read Reddit picking apart every acting choice it's going to be bad for me both as a professional and a person, so let's keep that off this particular subreddit.
The PhilosophyTube cameo and Sharako Lohar
The final episode of Season 2 (again, which was written by Sara Hess) was subject to immense amounts of criticism. One of the most disliked parts of the episode was the introduction of Admiral Sharako Lohar - in a season finale that already featured no important battles or plot developments, a third of the episode runtime was spent on this new character that nobody was emotionally invested in. Even worse, the character's actress was a literal YouTuber with unconvincing acting skills.
Well, Sara Hess had no idea that the audience would overwhelmingly dislike all of the Admiral Lohar stuff, and she seriously thought we we would love it. In an Episode 8 behind-the-scenes interview at 1:34, she talks about how she literally thinks it would be a "highlight" of the season and a "welcome bit of fun". This is how out-of-touch her writing is with regard to what fans actually want to see:
One of our season highlights was bringing in Sharako Lohar. And it can be a rough show - it's grim, it's a war, a lot of people die - so having that moment of levity and off-kilterness was really important to us and a really welcome bit of fun.
Oh, and you know how Sharako Lohar is supposed to be a brutal pirate leader with dozens of wives? Well, Sara Hess made sure to insist that Lohar's many wives weren't obtained in a "problematic" manner. PhilosophyTube revealed this in an interview:
I asked Geeta and Sara, I was like, "These wives, they are here consensually, right?" And they were like, "Yes, don't worry. That's part of it." And I was like, "Great, okay, good." That's important. Just good to know. Good to clarify that.
Abigail Thorn's cameo was SO bad that the PhilosophyTube subreddit literally banned all discussion of PT's acting after the episode aired, lmao:

Seriously @AMCTheatres? I come to the single showing you have today of @TheElliotPage’s new film “Close to you” within a 20 mile radius and you find it appropriate to play the only instance of the trailer for Matt Walsh’s movie I’ve even seen in a theater?

Anyone remember how back in boomer times CNN couldn't do this because it was a 24-hour news channel? Zoomers, this is a concept you've never seen before, but there used to be TV channels that just constantly told you what the latest news is all day and all night. Oh wait, zoomies probably don't even know what a TV channel is.
All I know about these people is I saw Michael Ian Black on Reno 911 where he's playing a dying pervert who keeps saying the most vile offensive things possible, so he's capable of that. But I really doubt CNN has the guts to let this show be edgy enough to work. That and as I alluded to above, young people don't watch cable tv. That's a critical demographic for this kind of show.
So I'm just waiting to see how bad this bombs.

Driven by interest into the venerable franchise, The Acolyte got off to a strong start when it launched June 4 with two episodes, generating 4.8M views in its first day on the streamer to rank as the biggest series premiere on Disney+ this year. The tally rose to 11.1 million views globally after five days of streaming. Corroborating Disney's data, the series made its debut on Nielsen's Top 10 originals chart in its premiere week at #7 (488 million minutes viewed), climbing to #6 the following week
But The Acolyte could not sustain the momentum, dropping out of the Top 10 in Week 3 and staying off before returning after the release of the finale at #10 (335M minutes, believed to be the lowest for a Star Wars series finale).
