A month ago I made this joke about that old man scene in avengers, and I hate it that it took this long for them to bring it to the front page.
Some of them exploring their complicated feelings over John Wilkes Boothe as well. !luigifrickers why did you not compare Luigi to Boothe? They basically look the same.

WASHINGTON (AP) β President Donald Trump said Tuesday he isn't ruling out deploying U.S. troops to support reconstruction of Gaza and he envisions "long-term" U.S. ownership of a redevelopment of the territory.
"We'll do what is necessary," Trump said about the possibility of deploying troops to fill any security vacuum. "If it's necessary, we'll do that."
The comments came after Trump said he wants the U.S. to take ownership of the Gaza Strip and redevelop it after Palestinians are resettled elsewhere.
"We will own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site," Trump said a start of a joint news conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Trump added the U.S. would level destroyed buildings and "create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area."
The comments came after Trump earlier suggested that displaced Palestinians in Gaza be "permanently" resettled outside the war-torn territory.
THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. AP's earlier story follows below.

gradually dial up the rigor until we hit this mark, this would solve a lot of problems with credential inflation since we've basically been doing the reverse of this since the 60s. getting a GED later in life is a perfectly fine option for the people who get shaken out.

Give me some statistical ways one could determine ugliness. Binary/vibes is what RSP is about but it seems pretty pointless when talking about swipe apps and other superficial ways people meet.
In my view, if you can't get a match on a dating app from average looking women (women within 2 std dev of norm) then you're ugly. If you can get a few matches, you're average. If you can get a ton of matches, you're hot. We're going to assume everyone in this example has similar quality level of photos/bios/etc.
To me, I haven't been able to get anyone to say any man is actually ugly when in real life. When I'm with guys, they will easily call out a woman as being ugly. When I'm with girls, it's nearly impossible to get them to say that any specific man is ugly and they'll instead try to use some flowery language to evade calling it outright. Maybe it's because they find 95% of men to be ugly and 1-3% are average and 1% are hot. So, for them, it's a bit pointless to talk about because basically all men are ugly to them.
I don't get why women do this though. Men will just call it like it is.

I hate when people think you should always love one another and let go of everything. I think letting go to an extent is good, however I think things like revenge can be necessary. If someone pulls some absolute butthole behaviour, unless they get something just as bad or even worse in return they aren't going to learn. It's not your job to be always understanding and nice to people constantly if they are being a mega shit stain in your life. Apologising and talking things through when appropriate should be done but it isn't always what can be done and isn't always the best solution. Sometimes it's about not letting people walk all over you and maybe some might argue that doesn't make you any better than them but I don't think that's always the case. Sometimes, revenge CAN be there best way to move on. A sense of resolution if done right.
And another note. I think if you don't like someone pretending to be their friend so that your "a nice person" can be an even bigger peepeehead move than just maybe rather limiting interactions with that person. Maybe it's a workmate that gets on your nerves. A friend of a friend. But either way, pretending you like them at the end of the day is deceitful in a way especially if you let them believe your friends. I'm not saying to hate on them, especially if they aren't necessarily doing harm and it's more just a clashing of personalities or beliefs. Some people try so hard to do it but it doesn't make them look as sweet as they think it does and instead you end up looking like a fake and shallow person.
