Educate yourself sweaty
If you've been on the internet for a while you have probably heard of foids complaing about the "male gaze" which is described as the following:
the act of depicting women and the world in the visual arts and in literature from a masculine, heterosexual perspective that presents and represents women as sexual objects for the pleasure of the heterosexual male viewer.
Recently foids have been asking the thoughtful question of is there such a thing as a "female gaze" in both academia (lol) and on tiktok (lmao). The female gaze can be described as the inverse of the male gaze, basically explaining how foids want to see other men displayed for their own pleasure (Technically this isn't the "official meaning" but we're going with it for this drama). This topic grew in popularity and was constantly trending on tiktok. Many foids claimed that such a thing couldn't exist because "muh patriarchy", however some foids thought differently and knew it existed, but were unable to find a man to represent it. That is until a moid named Kevin showed up.
We need to talk about Kevin
Kevin (strangek3vin on tiktok, but his account is private) is a massive tiktoker with over 3 millions who does react content and edgy comedy sketches. With the "female gaze" trending on tiktok, Kevin jumped on this trend and made a video for it (You can ignore the foid she's not important):
If you're confused, that's ok because it makes no sense to anyone, expect foids. They loved this video so much, that they blew it up and Kevin gained a reputation for being the quintessential example of the "female gaze".
With Kevin gaining popularity with some foids, some of them began to do a deep dive into his tiktok account and found misogynistic content (from 2 years ago) . It was these 3 videos:
Each one is slightly different but the main "joke" was that Kevin was battering women. I will say Im suprised he got flak for these because the dude does edgy skits around school shootings and racial arab stereotypes, but I guess foids don't care about that . Kevin did some livestreams where he was actually laughing at the criticism, however things would take a turn for the worst for Kevin.
Some people found that Kevin had a groomercord server with a channel named "Kevsexuals" , where any person could join and give an introduction with their age, name, and location. Allegedly there were minors also sending selfies of themself on the server. There has been no evidence of any sexual interactions but very sussy nonetheless .
There's been a couple other allegations against him but these are either weak or have no evidence:
Told a black kween to get her lip fixed because it looked like Mike Tyson punched her
He hooked up with a girl who was into self harm and watched her cut herself while he got off to it. He told the girl he had a "self mutilation kink".
Kevin has responded to the claims saying he did nothing wrong in this tweet:
Drama
Here's two threads with lots of drama. I'll linking some of the highlights further down.
The use of the terms “females” and “men” in the same sentence is 🤮
REEEEEEEEEEMAAAAALLLLLLEEEESSSSS
he’s not even attractive who is giving these men the confidence and audacity 💀
In a follow up tweet someone posts evidence of a black kween calling him the female gaze
the "female gaze" isnt even real😭 its just another internet term LMAO
This but unironically
Based ugly people should unironically be attacked for leaving their homes. No one wants to see that!
wtf is a female gaze and why are white women on tiktok saying a wigga named kevin mastered it

Warhammer 40k is a franchise that exists to sell expensive models and paints; to do this, they include convoluted rules that allows you to play with your dolls.
The OP, /u/The_Black_Goodbye, is playing a subset of these dolls called Tau, an army notorious for its weebism, being anti-fun to play, and attracting the worst type of autists. It's poetry that a Tau player would try to abuse the rules so thoroughly.
/u/The_Black_Goodbye, being a filthy tryhard and probably 0% fun to play against, asks the subreddit /r/warhammercompetitive if his unit can start to perform a Tau-specific action while off of the battlefield. The initial reaction is overwhelmingly no. /u/The_Black_Goodbye catches a lot of downvotes in the beginning - however, no one can actually point to where in the rulebook that it says a unit cannot perform actions while not on the battlefield. Meanwhile, /u/The_Black_Goodbye keeps proving that yes, he absolutely can do what he wants rules as written.
Eventually, the tides reverse and users begin to post in support of OP and upvote him, proving that autism, not feels prevail when it comes to reading rules. However, top comment remains
I asked the same question a few weeks ago, and there is technically no requirement for a unit to be on the battlefield in order to perform an action.
That said, if a Tau player tried to do this to me at a tournament I am calling a TO immediately because a unit that isn’t on the battlefield shouldn’t be able to perform an action.
Which gets a response from OP, where he says
While I don’t disagree I do feel it’s a unique interaction but most likely not intended...
Proving that even he knows that he's being an unloveable tryhard that's trying to put a cat on his football team . But he's correct, and that's all that matters.

The Associated Press issued a new update to their style guide Monday focused on how best to use the pronoun "she" in various contexts.
Apparently we're not supposed to use the "she" pronoun when discussing "nations, ships, storms, or voice assistants," The AP Stylebook's official Twitter shared in an update on Monday. Who knew we'd been misgendering random, genderless objects that don't procreate for so long? Shame on us.
Jokes aside, there are certain elements of AP's update that may not sit well with those who use the term "she" to refer to ships. Describing ships as "she" is a tradition as old as time itself.
The tradition reportedly stems from the idea that one's ship is a "female figure such as a mother or goddess guiding and protecting a ship and crew," according to Imperial War Museums. One of the few examples of ships being gendered as "he," came from Captain Ernst Lindemann of the Bismark battleship, which he did in "view of its awesome power," the museum site noted.
It feels like referring to ships as "she," is less of a decision that AP gets to make, and more of a personal choice. Similarly, referring to a nation as "she" is apparently a callback to our "motherland" and hasn't really been used widely for decades, The Hill noted.
As for storms, naming them after women seems to have originated from an Australian meteorologist, Clement Wragge, who used to entertain himself by choosing names of women, mythical figures, and politicians he didn't like, Britannica reported. Who can blame, Wragge? He started doing this in the 1890s, so it's not like there was much else to do to kill time. (RELATED: Death Valley National Park Experiences Rare, Massive Flooding)
Amazingly fun fact: in the 1970s, feminists fought to have the tradition of naming storms changed to include male names. The move was met with resistance because apparently people "would not take storms seriously if names did not evoke images of female fury," The Washington Post reported. Call me crazy, but that made me feel pretty powerful. Can we have a Storm Kay, please?
By 1978, we started using a range of different methods to name storms that use both male and female proper nouns for people, The Washington Post added. In terms of misgendering voice assistants, The AP can blame Apple and Amazon for creating "Siri" and "Alexa."
Of course, none of this is relevant to how you write about nations, ships, storms, or voice assistants. I just really love writing about weather, history, and naming conventions, I guess.

He was trying to brush it off but this person insisted “no no a whole group of us were having this discussion. we all agree you look better” etc.
