Simple question
Making chili
Pretty basic
The spice mostly comes from 3tbsp of cayenne pepper which hasn't been quite enough for my liking before and when I've added tabasco and more cayenne it doesn't really seem to change things much either
I bought some habanero peppers and I'm getting ready to start things but I'm having second thoughts
With two pounds of beef how much habanero should I use
Should I just slice it up or should I like completely pulverize a pepper or three and toss it in
Is habanero going to overpower the rest of everything and kill my mayoid tongue
I had habanero on a burger a few times and it's always very hot so I am nervous

I think the title is too niche a reference but regardless, it's that time of year again at last so recommend teas that I can pretend have health benefits but are really just dirt water.
I have a cup of ginger turmeric in the morning and two cups of chamomile before sleep and I think the morning could be moved to early evening and so I specifically want something herbal for first thing in the morning but I'm open to others
The pumpkin spice finally ran out and it would be weird to reup on that in December.

It's a type of curry but without spices just jackfruit + coconut milk + bagoong (essentially shrimp version of fish sauce) + onion, garlic and tomato. We like it with tofu fried after marinating in coconut milk and chili paste. @Redactor0

So I have a bunch of fresh okra/ladyfingers my dad planted and Im bored of cooking them the way so I googled a bit for other methods and it seems like theres probably like only frying it
my heart is telling me Seems interesting enough and Im open to trying it but Ive never heard of okra being fried like this so I have to wonder if its worth it??? Should I fry them whole or cut them totally into smaller pieces???
Also I have a feeling I cant find corn meal here so what would be a good substitute??? Ive seen this kentucky seasoned flour in the supermarkets so Im wondering if its really a thing in burgerland and if its a good substitute for corn meal???
literally, 谢谢

Two weeks ago my mom called and I told her about my worsening suicidal ideation. She said I'd get 1500GBP if I did my chores, went for a walk once a day and didn't attempt to commit for 2 weeks.
It's been two weeks and mom took me to Costco today to cash in my gets.

Last year my 'mulled wine spice'-themed Thanksgiving dinner line-up turned out really well so I'm going to repeat it, but I have more people flying in than last year so need to make a turkey in addition to duck, and I forgot the stuffing recipe I followed so any suggestions would be helpful. Any feedback in general would be nice tbh.
Roast Turkey
- Dry brined and roasted the day before. If anyone has a good roast turkey/turkey dry brine recipe please share.
Roasted duck
- Roasted following this recipe but dry brined for 24 hrs with salt, brown sugar, orange peels, garlic, cinnamon, star anise, and ginger slices
Stuffing
- Probably a sausage and rustic bread or baguette one. It's hard to go wrong with stuffing but if anyone has a good recipe please share.
Braised red cabbage
- Braised on the stovetop for over an hour with star anise, maybe a slice of ginger, cloves, juniper berries, and whatever I adjust it with.
Honeynut squash puree
- I used sweet potatoes last year, but I'm going to probably use some honeynut squash I grew in containers this year. Or maybe just stick with sweet potatoes and use the honeynut squash for something else.
Braised kale or arugula salad
- Gotta add a green to feel like you're less of a fatass. I'll probably make something easy (the arugula salad last year worked well with everything else) but I'm open to suggestions if anyone has them. As long as the suggestions don't involve green beans.
Gravy, redcurrent jelly sauce, cranberry sauce
- Gravy made with turkey drippings from the day before, redcurrant jelly sauce made by mixing redcurrant jelly and white wine, cranberry sauce from a jar
Some sort of grocery store dessert
- Maybe I'll be able to find some pumpkin pie
Thoughts? Does anyone have a line-up they're proud of?

RECIPE:
2 cannelini beans cans
3 tablespoon ketchup
1 1/2 brown sugar
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1/2 english mustard
1 tablespoon apple syrup + apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon chilli pepper
2 cloves of garlic
1 chilli pepper
1 large onion
1 cup of pork lardons
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon chipotle
Dash of hot sauce
Coconut oil
Fry veg until clear in oil
Add liquid and dry spices
Simmer until thick
Add beans and add pint of water.
Cook in oven with lid off at very low heat for 90 mins. Stir contents every 30 mins.
Serve with seasoning to taste.
I squeezed with lemon for mine.
Very nice blend of sweet and spicy with the creamy texture of the beans making it all carry cleary

Adapted from @thACAsgiving 's recipe here: https://rdrama.net/h/peakpoors/post/217974/16-for-a-burger-fries-and/5319822#context
I made a few changes for my own tastes. I used pork sausage instead of ground turkey, skim milk instead of half and half (and not much of it at all), and I added chopped spinach for some greenery.
They look like shit lmao I didn't mix the eggs up enough so some of them have an egg white mucous sitting on top. Something I'll keep in mind for next time. I also had no idea what proportions of everything I'd need so I just guessed and ended up with way too much of everything except eggs. I just put all the leftovers into a pan and made a slop scramble .
I'll definitely make them again, I just made the dozen here to try them out and get the proportions correct. In the future I'll make probably 2-3 times as much to freeze for easy breakfasts.

Spreading the dough ball into a flat circle is hard af, Italians have more patience than me. this is my third time making pizza and the dough still blew up like a ballon on one side but still it's real good
Only takes like 10min of work too if you buy the pizza dough at a grocery store plus 15 in the oven

I fricking love cereal. I take like 5 cereal types and mix them all into one bowl for a mega flavor blast. Give me your top 5 cereals so I know what to buy next. Cheap or off brand doesn't matter there are definitely gems out there. Also mention where they are bought. Like HEB in the south has these cheap great 2 dollar boxes but they're weirdly cheap for how legit they taste.
