There are memes and jokes about such a situation online. But the two apps never look or function remotely alike, regardless of version.

Not only that, but I've never set an alarm just by typing a time and going straight to sleep. I have to set the days and tap "save", etc.

I brought Sheila and the babies to the vet early because my anxiety was unbearable after the passing of Dean.

Sheila is estimated 1 year 3 months old at best. She was barely over 2 pounds when weighed. She tested negative for feline leukemia as well as two other cat killers. I brought in a poop sample yesterday before work and will know if she has any parasites by Wednesday. She's on a prescription diet and has already put on a slight bit of fat I think. She really loves the prescription kibble for reseting the biome.

There are actually two female tortie's (one is to be re-named, formerly Hank), and the black kitten has stripes on his paws now so he may be a second tabby. The largest 10 day old kitten when weighed (Brock) was 3 grams.

The kittens are 1/3 their ideal weights and are being formula fed 3 to 4x a day on top of whatever they get out of Sheila. But the vets said at least 3 of her ducts are btfo'd from her just being too darn little and young to feed this many kids successfully. Maybe Dean never got enough milk or formula just because there was not enough input on either end. Their new diet is at least getting them twice the nutrients as compared to when initially rescued.

I had a lot of luck yesterday . A lot of food was given to me by a university to help out. Obviously can't say which one, but my family has gotten a lot of animals brought back from the edge by their vet school. If I get doxxed you'll know who I'd shout out if I could lmao

I have spent the summer in NYC with my sister & her family. At first I was like "Eww" but now I'm warming up to the idea of moving here.

The Pros: My depression gets so much better when I'm around family. It's a "fresh start" after a really hard year. I can help my sister out with her baby. It's a lot of stress and I want to support her as much as I can.

It will also get me closer to fulfilling my lifelong dream of being a fancy old lady

The cons are that it's a very expensive lifestyle. I will just barely be able to live comfortably in Manhattan. Lots of places do not accept dogs for some reason (?) Lots of Libs (so same as Chicago) and apparently men punch women on the subways.

As soon as I was done, the cleaner was outside waiting. I just averted my eyes and power walked off quickly, shamefully even.

We got one potty on the floor and pooping would be very obvious as to who shit and everyone would know. So I go to a spot I thought was more discreet, but they know.

If you are fat and have had a hard time losing weight, stop trying to eat like with the mentality of becoming a fit person, and instead start eating with the mentality of becoming a less fat person.

Learning to eat that one less slice of bread worth of food a day is a win if your weight goes down by the end of the week and stays down. It is a better victory than losing a kilo and gaining two by the end of the month.

Your first move is to be less fat, and to keep spamming that move until you become fit.

Don't push yourself to the max setting from the beginning or even the middle. You have a lifetime to enjoy being fit once you get there. Let it happen steadily over time.

My boyfriend and i have been crying most of the afternoon. The runt of the litter, Dean, who my boyfriend wanted to keep, passed around 12:20 pm today. We tried our best for him. I'm so anxious about the rest of the litter despite them doing well. This is haunting me

A couple years ago I was doing around 4 grams of coke every day or two. I quit cold turkey when my wife got pregnant. It was easy as frick, honestly. I'm almost two years clean.

Vaping is 5000x harder to quit than cocaine or smokes. Like not even close. I think it's because it's so accessible? I would vape all the time everywhere. On an airplane? Vaping. Movie theater? Vaping. Hospital? Vaping. I've been vaping like this for nearly 10 years.

I think part of its the oral fixation. Ive been using a makeup pen as a pretend vape and it helps a little.

It's been 3 days and I already feel the results. I feel clearer, I'm more horny, my lungs feel lighter, I dont have a smokers cough anymore. Anyways, I'm gonna keep going. For my daughter. Thats what I'm doing this for. Well, and my health.

I'm getting this cat rearing stuff down pretty well. Tiny Momma Sheila eats 3 meals and one to two snacks throughout the day, and she's so happy to now have toys! She's resting in the sink after playing (I wanted to tire her out before I went to work). It's scary how underweight these cats are but they're all doing very well in the past 24 hours. Sheila even nibbled playfully on my fingers for a few minutes! This was supposed to be a rough and tough feral cat, not a two pound little angel I'm so looking forward to her getting all her vet work done in about 2 months. Once she cannot introduce anything to my other cats that may harm them, it will be exciting to give the three grown girls time to bond!

Just spent all month fixing this car only to be hit by an r-slur my 2nd time driving to wrk

When I was 10 we went to pick up my grandfather from the airport. Everything was going well until we got into the car and my grandfather was panicking because my mom was gonna drive and he had never been in a car driven by a woman.

Well, luckily I didn't have work today, so I practically sat with momma since 9 am until now (3 pm). My bathroom is big enough to make my own pillow bed. I have permanently installed a pillow in front of the nest because this hardworking little momma cat loves having soft fabric for once. I will be looking around for basically a dog bed to place in front of the closet door, I just need a paycheck or two to hit before I spend anything unnecessary.

Did you !animalposters know that until the kittens are 2 weeks old, after nursing, they have to have their bellies massaged so that they pee and poop AND the vet tech told me on the phone to put momma (Sheila) onto 3 to 4 cans of wet food a day. She either does 3 cans and a treat or 3.5 cans, and leftovers are part one of breakfast at 2 am.

Let me tell you all, when I say this cat has liquid death diarrhea, it's seriously gross and now that she just missed the litter box a little, I have a job to do...

Oh gosh, what a day. Momma and the babies are doing much, much better today. The runt is eating on his own and I am so, so, so relieved that I might not need formula anymore. We will see, as they will all see the vet next Monday afternoon. I'll continue to supplement him slightly, but now I think I can scale back and just try to fatten him up slowly. Please send good vibes to momma, she is such a spicy little girl and I don't think that she will appreciate another car ride... also. The first of many vet visits for everyone at once is ~$580. Post-discount.
