I need a set of crampons that are more for traction, but I intend to climb at least some ice and some mixed. The CAMP blade runners have an alpinist front tip set, so I can use horizontal front tips for general glacier travel, and switch to monopoints for truly nasty ice.

However, a friend of mine offered me her Black Diamond Cyborg Pro crampons for 100 bucks, and I'm curious how you think they'd work for general glacier travel. The blade runners are expensive - the most expensive on the market. But they do fit my needs. They're also quite heavy. I'm assuming that both sets have about the same fit for my boots.

Has anyone here tried general glacier travel with a technical ice climbing crampon? Do you find they slide on steep terrain? I may just try to find a set of true horizontal points but what if I want to climb some ice after some glacier travel?

Tithings is like €250K a year in this cult section which would make it only 2780 Euro a year to stay a part of this cult. This would exclude the costs from buying the books the cult leader wrote, which would add up to another 800 or so as he only wrote 7 books.

I had a friend that had a Honda S2000. Very nice car, except that model is designed for manlets. I could barely fit in the driver's seat and cabin area, it was so cramped. They forgot to design the seating and cabin for the average height Eurochad, instead designing it for small Japanese bugmen with no height or shoulder breadth. I was asking $1650. Various auction houses have estimated the value at $6-8k, but when you look at results, they never get near that amount. The highest I've seen for a copy in the past decade was about $3500. Other prints by the same photographer have been getting $400-900 lately on eBay.

A gallery owner on the west coast offered $1250, I countered with $1375. If he accepts I think I'm going to go for it.

While I know he's going to turn around and sell it for more money, I don't think I'm capable of finding or accessing the kind of buyer who is willing to spend more money on it - especially being that my main venue is eBay.
