NORMAL: The Australian Federal Police confirmed on Thursday to the Australian Senate that they disrupted a plot by Chinese foreign intelligence in Australia to violently harm me and other Australian critics of the Chinese government like @veryvickyxu. /r/femcelgrippysockjail is a shitposting subreddit for self-described femcels. Posts on the subreddit are usually frivolous and typically revolve around hating on moids, but infighting often breaks out over petty things. One such example happened recently, when a new user posted an image mocking a 5'3'' man who tried to ask her out in public:
Initially, it was well-received... until it became apparent that the OP was not being ironic at all and was, in fact, completely earnest in her supercilious contempt for moidlets (despite admitting to being short herself) - at which point, angry posts directed at her quickly commenced. Some simply called her out for her snide, hypocritical meanness, while others accused her of being an undercover moid trying to instigate misogyny or even run a psyop (and there's lots of weird hornyposting about pegging short men as well).
Just a few of the highlights:
It goes on and on and on well beyond these screencaps, of course - you can dig through the thread yourself if you want more. OP later deleted her account, as you can see from the screenshots above.
You have to give femcels credit for one thing, at least: they are, by far, the funniest -cels in existence.

Assuming that washes off, that honestly seems sort of fair. Permanent damage would be an butthole move, but I feel like that is more entertaining than anything else. (-91)
Nah. Don't touch other people's shit. Period.
Uh uh uhh. Same person probably supported the mostly peaceful protests…
They misspelled religious
They were religious, not educated.
Love the PRO Labor folks driving foreign non union autos 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️😂😂😂 (-60)
There is no ethical consumption in capitalism. Setting a bar that's impossible or near impossible to meet is just a bad argument.
So upset over some fairytales it's crazy
Pretty shitty thing to say about people's religion, and that's coming from an atheist. (-56)
I mean me personally, I just struggle to see how any rational adult would believe such outlandish things with no evidence based off one book written hundreds of years ago… so I think those people are a bit silly
OP is the one telling tales. I appreciate their sentiment, but the green writing under the bumper sticker was done in MS paint. I'm a graphic designer, so I can confirm this, but it really doesn't take any expertise if you just zoom in on the writing itself. Plain as day. (-73)
I will never understand why Americans (I'm not American, but I live here) plaster their beliefs all over things. Bumper stickers. Yard signs. That kind of thing. Aside from being ugly, you're just increasing the chances of stuff like this happening.

I would be glad to know which concurring opinion you had in mind when stating that the signatory/ies has a poor understanding of how Reddit works.
IANAL IANYL ATINLA and I'm not Reddit's lawyer. This is just me, griping —
I read the Texas law, TXHB20, when it was proposed and when it was adopted.
https://capitol.texas.gov/tlodocs/872/billtext/html/HB00020F.htm
It has a section, Section 8, which I call the Hydra.
Section 8. (a) … it is the intent of the legislature that every provision, section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or word in this Act, and every application of the provisions in this Act, are severable from each other.
>> (b) If any application of any provision in this Act to any person, group of persons, or circumstances is found by a court to be invalid or unconstitutional, the remaining applications of that provision to all other persons and circumstances shall be severed and may not be affected. All constitutionally valid applications of this Act shall be severed from any applications that a court finds to be invalid, leaving the valid applications in force, because it is the legislature's intent and priority that the valid applications be allowed to stand alone.
Etc, etc. it has many other clauses in that section all to the effect of "if a court leaves so much as an atom of this law in place, we intend to use it, now and in the future".
IMO it's the real payload of the bill, and it's a definitive signal that they will not give up on this power grab until it's entirely disallowed.
That's what that section says: They're not throwing in the towel on this. Ever.
