I joined TikTok during covid like a lot of people. My algorithm eventually led me down a path of seeing content creators who were talking about SA, abuse, manipulation, gaslamping and all sorts of content on toxic relationships. It was then that I realized after nearly 2 decades with my husband that I was in an abusive and toxic relationship. My normal meter had become so fricked because of his manipulation that I didn't know up from down. I finally had the language to describe what I was going through and the courage to leave.
