Some highlights:
If you're going to have a gay scene in your game that is supposed to be historically accurate and allow players free choice, you should give us the option to report the homosexuals to the church or Bailiffs if you catch them in the act. There should also be accurate punishments for that time period. But if they don't do this despite having the scene then all this is, is just pandering that they included to appease the left but also not offend them.

I do feel, I have no proof on this, like there is some misinformation going on to damage this game. I never pre-order games but I do recommend everyone to wait and see until launch, see what the people you trust says about the game or watch some playthroughs yourself.
yea there is missinformation being thrown at them here, the whole gay scene is fabricated by the looks of it. I have seen preview materials of the game and the scene with nude men bathing is within the first hour and can be seen in IGN's material. What they say don't match those accusation photos and what is worse is that the text font is different than the games which means photoshop.
[Rant] The Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 controversies reek of a bad grift from game journ*lists.
From what I understand, there are two major "controversies" surrounding Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2:
a scene involving a black trader
a (so-called) unskippable cutscene featuring a gay couple
The first one can be explained away by what happened during the previous game. There is already a recent post about what game journ*lists have done during this timeframe, so I'll defer to that post since that already shows everything.
The second one doesn't make any sense because (and I recently learned about this because the game is too outside my normal areas) that there was already a gay couple in the previous KCD game. Even light browsing from before KCD 2 was even announced suggested that this was never a controversy in the first place, and (as seen in the discussion), Bohemia was actually tolerant towards gays in this time period.
So, why does a game that had zero controversies about gays in the first game complete with a gay couple in the first game and no mentioning of bannings from kooky Middle East countries suddenly have both a controversy and a banning (both rumors) in the second game?
Daniel also flew the GG flag ten years ago, when doing so meant your career might actually be harmed by it. He has more claim to the G*merGate name than almost anyone that still posts in this sub.
I made this account in 2014, specifically to participate in GG, and he was one of the first and only actual high profile devs to have our back.
Vavra had every opportunity over the last few days to clear the air with us and in a way that was respectful to us as customers and supporters of his content. Instead, he was more focused on calling someone a Nazi than offering any explanation, and even today with his statement, gives us no clear cut answer on what we want to know.
That alone, in my opinion, is disrespectful and a complete 180 from how transparent he used to be with us. Needless to say, he did this to himself.
He called a guy with a nazi flag in his bio and who was pointing out Daniel's ancestry, a nazi. This is not an instance of a soy male feminist calling someone a nazi 'cause they like boobs in video games.
The point is Daniel ignored all the other comments asking him in good faith about the matter at hand. His statement today was also entirely a non-answer. I'm still optimistic about the game based on Daniel's reputation over the past decade, but this is a bad sign to me. He could extremely easily have put the matter to bed, and chose not to.

I am not paying attention to the drama regarding KC2. I never pre-order games and I will find out if the game is woke or not once it comes out. Again, I won't be believing anything until I've seen it for myself. The Steam forums having to be moderated due to the amount of repetitive crap going back and forth on it isn't exactly the smoking gun in this current ongoing drama. That entire environment is chockful of whiney trolls and terminally online people on both sides of the fence, repeatedly posting the same tiresome "gotcha!" topics across the majority of forums for different games.

So my wife (29f) and i (28m) have been together with the exception of a long break when we were 18 and 19 for 10 years. (She left me for another guy) and every year or two since we've been back together i keep finding things on her phone. The first was a fetlife account where she was chatting with multiple men. The second was a coworker she was speaking explicitly with. Third she asked a random neighbor out for coffee in our apartment complex in a flirting manner. And finally this. I found nudes of her that I'd never seen before, and looked in the deleted pictures on her phone and found pictures of another man's nudes.
We've had some rough patched with my finances and depression as well as hers. I must admit I was feeling sexually frustrated last year and went to a "massage parlor" but didn't go through with the end part. And she found out. She's insists that nothing has become physical any of these times and would leave if she were going to go through with it, because she did when thats what she wanted.
Our relationship is great except for this horrible bi annual ritual of her seeking attention. She makes the money In the relationship and I'm very limited in my capacity to support myself for any sort of trial separation. I don't want to leave. I love her. But I feel I need to advocate for myself despite my own wrongdoings. I feel so trapped and hopeless.

Almost as soon as the Caleb entered the Pillar Point Harbor in the summer 2017, its crew ran into trouble, leading to the San Mateo County Harbor District filing a lawsuit against Danielson and Powell. The first time the U.S. Coast Guard boarded the tugboat for an inspection, the agency warned Danielson about the dangers of anchoring the dilapidated vessel, which carried 3,000 gallons of diesel fuel.
Danielson signed papers acknowledging her obligations under the Clean Water Act. But neighbors had already lodged complaints about the Caleb being docked illegally and storing 500 gallons of oily bilge water, court records show.
The Coast Guard called the boat "an imminent threat to the public health" and ordered the owners to finalize a mitigation plan. Rough seas in winter 2017 sent the tug into other anchored vessels, damaging them, the lawsuit stated.
By December 2017, Danielson had registered two more boats at Pillar Point Harbor, including the Islander that she and LaSota once shared and a boat called the Letoile de Mer. Over the next year, the vessels all faced anchor problems, and other harbor tenants raised concerns that the massive tug might ram them, harbor officials said.
A former employee at the harbor, who asked to remain anonymous out of concerns for his safety, described the vessel as less than seaworthy and its "shabby" crew as a nuisance.
"Feral humans we called them," the employee said. "They're just living, trying to get away with whatever they can under the wire. Most harbors have them, harbor rats that are just living the alternative lifestyle."
When the employee boarded the vessel to inspect it, he said the living quarters were a "mess." He recalled seeing s*x toys and lingerie in "plain view" in one of the bunkrooms. "It was filthy," he said. "They weren't hiding anything, that's for sure."
Back at Pillar Point, the Caleb's troubles mounted. In 2021, San Mateo County authorities determined the boat was no longer seaworthy and ordered the owners to remove it. No owner responded and its anchor continued to drag. Then in early 2022, winter storms tossed the boat around the harbor, endangering other vessels. No one responded to radio calls to the Caleb, the district alleged in a lawsuit.
The night of March 12, 2022, Danielson and her crew moved the Caleb to the harbor's work dock, but staff explained the boat was too large to be there, harbor officials said. "Danielson and crew got into a vehicle and drove off and have not been seen at (Pillar Point Harbor) or near the Caleb since," the harbor district's lawsuit stated.
The Caleb had been abandoned. The harbor district, records show, wound up paying a marine salvage company to remove hazardous materials from the boat and anchor it away from the dock.
A few months later, in August 2022, LaSota faked her own death.
While Danielson and LaSota haven't been seen at the harbor in three years, their legacy β a 345-ton heap of metal waste β rests near the community of Princeton-by-the-Sea and the cliffs of Mavericks Beach.
Harbor District General Manager Jim Pruett said the price tag for removing the ship would be about $2 million. It's a big ask for an agency with an annual budget of $13 million, Pruett said, so he's applying for grants to shoulder the cost.

Dude was asking the staff to check their system for a record he was looking for, they told him they were too busy (pretty clearly trying to get him to just leave), and then he went off on them. He kept saying: "Think about what you are saying my friend! This is not wise! This is not wise at all!". There were five employees that had no means to actually handle the situation and just kept saying "You need to leave!" while the dude carried on. Finally they gave up and the guy went back to shopping. I was trying to check out, so I got a front row seat to the action. The staff were absolutely seething afterwards, but again, they couldn't handle the situation themselves and just had to hope he would eventually leave. It was funny as frick.

I'm never going to be strong enough to repel a Nazi, but generalizing here, keep up your health. It is beneficial in so many ways I won't bother to list them. Everyone on reddit hates me because I always bring up cooking your own food, not smoking, not drinking, getting exercise every day, giving up fast food and ultraprocessed stuff. It's all key to keeping your body and teeth healthy over the years.
The effects are cumulative - one day you wake up and you have some godawful chronic disease, or your ticker isn't what it could be, or you need yet another root canal, and you are slowed down and inconvenienced by having to use the medical system all the time, take pills, etc.
Also, get an annual check up if only so you have a record of your own stats. It's actually interesting to compare your numbers year to year.
As a nazi myself, this is all really good advice. Regardless of what ideology you have, everyone should abandon unhealthy lifestyles and unhealthy food. Most fast food/door dash and other stuff you get in groceries are deliberately kept unhealthy in order to have a population that can't resist and constantly kept broke and in debt. (not to mention how immoral some of the sources of this food are.) You don't need to be shredded but eating well and working out daily with basic calisthenics goes a long way.
As someone who's immunocompromised from a COVID vaccine injury, I've learned that sometimes the best choice isn't to fight head-on, but to hide and protect myself. It's a hard reality, but sometimes survival means stepping back, staying safe, and waiting for a time when I'm stronger.

Hiding, like when Harry and his allies went into hiding in The Deathly Hallows, was often the wisest choice. It wasn't about surrender, but about preserving their strength for when it was truly needed.
Similarly, Anne Frank showed us the power of survival. She and her family lived in hiding, and though it was painful and isolating, it was their only chance to stay alive. Sometimes, hiding isn't a sign of weakness; it's a strategy to make sure we can continue the fight later.
For me, hiding isn't giving up. It's about protecting my health and holding onto hope for a better, safer future.

Our politics are not half as simple as they were 20 years ago. It was easy to be a leftist when conservative Christianity was forcing people to deny their own humanity. What I didn't know is that the left is just as capable of acting the same way.
