I don't get the drooling love some people have for Brave. I personally don't think I would ever trust the browser for anything other than just another option when the ones I like don't work due to the history of crypto schemes and ad/affiliate link hijacking.

Same reason I doubt I will ever trust something made by Lenovo. as for the heating part, well, that's my experience on Mac because it's so unoptimized. Chrome is slow as it is, but when you bundle it with other bloat, it takes a toll on your machine. there's also a long-running joke that Brave mines crypto, that's why it gets hot
