Consider me upset and disappointed (as if redditor's feel any other emotions ). And I was actually going to make a post about how I've been pleasantly surprised at the lack of mask pushback the past 6ish months at doctors appointments. Which is GREATLY appreciated as I've been dealing with a newer chronic health condition, on top of my grandma who's on oxygen needing her doctors appointments as well.

Long story short - I asked my doctor to sign a medical exemption form for me so I can wear a mask to this upcoming necessary appointment. I was once again pleasantly surprised, she didn't question me and I felt like she was finally taking me seriously.

I opened the envelope today and read what she wrote: "Severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder". Not my chronic migraines, or the fact that I'm a care giver. We never discussed this "severe" anxiety disorder and I thought she finally recognized that a) my precautions are not because of my anxiety and b) my increased anxiety was due to my undiagnosed chronic migraines that I developed from a hormone medication SHE put me on.

I'll fully admit that my anxiety got much worse before my migraines were properly addressed. It was an uphill battle where I was not being heard by my doctor - the "it's just anxiety, anxiety, anxiety" bit until I had hospital worthy chronic pain...

But my family and I have masked and taken Covid precautions since 2020. It's infuriating that wearing a mask is likely the reason why my doctors first answer to everything is anxiety. Like pardon me for being educated and trying to protect my family. I guess that makes me incredibly anxious. So be it.

I'm a petty beefy guy. Have been for most of my adult life. I'm changing my eating and hitting the gym again to get healthy, but I don't think I'll ever be super thin again.

There seem to be a decent amount of men who find plus size women sexy, which I think is fantastic. But as a man, I can't say that my experience has been proportional or at all similar. Outside of fetish communities, I've not encountered a woman who was sincerely attracted to someone with my body type, and thats... hard.

I don't want to be a fetish. I don't want to be in a feeder-type relationship. I want to be healthy, but I also accept that healthiness for me might still be a hefty body type. The BHM communities I've found on reddit are very sexually oriented. I'm not here to kink shame anyone, but that's just not me.

I'm a man with a deep capacity for love and connection. I'm very connected to my feelings and really would like to find a meaningful relationship based on mutual interest, attraction, and compatible personalities.

I just don't know where to find women who would be interested in dating a guy like me. The apps are out. So are the popular dating sites. I just feel like modern dating isn't made for the plus sized man.

Does anyone have some good advice for me? I'm a 46 year old man, who at this point, is kind of at a loss.

Landrys is the worst company i ever worked for. And they are also horrible at business. When they took over BRGuest in NYC their goons (I refuse to call them anything but that) came in and changed everything. For the worse. They told me to fire 40% of my staff and if I couldn't find a reason to I was not doing my job. They ignored the Donn doff law and had signs at terminals saying "do not clock in until fully in uniform" which is…illegal. They got rid of the time card adjustment signatures. Which is required in nyc. Any time you adjust a staffs time card they have to sign off on it. Very simple. Yes it was a huge restaurant and yes it took a lot of time to do 3 times a shift (people forgot to clock in, people for got to clock out for they break, etc…) but it's the law. They did away with it. It's a HUGE lawsuit. Every single employee can sue for incorrect hour reporting. It's usually a class action and lawyers make most of the money, but it's an easy slam dunk case for any law firm... 2024 YR4 is an asteroid recently discovered by scientists in Chile (it's not the flying Tesla "asteroid", this one is legit). It is an "Apollo-type" near-Earth object that crosses our planet's orbit.

This week, scientists learned it had a 1.2%-1.6% chance of hitting Earth on 22 December 2032.

At a diameter of between 40 and 100 metres (130 and 330 ft), an impact with the ground could release approximately 8 megatons of destructive energy.

For reference, that is 533 times the bomb at Hiroshima and more than double the maximum yield of a US Navy Trident II ICMB.

All this places 2024 YR4 at a troubling 3 (out of 10) on the Torino Scale of impact hazards. It is the only non-0 threat, and the second highest ever recorded, exceeded only briefly in 2004 by 99942 Apophis before closer observations revealed that asteroid would not hit Earth.

So that is the bad news. Ready for the good news?

Calculations by NASA and the ESA show that 2024 YR4's "risk corridor" (where it would hit) doesn't pose a threat to anywhere important.
