It has been revealed that this whole mess was actually a massive unprecedented attack by both Russia and China on NATO. While other disinfo campaigns in the West happened, they were basically just a warm up for this, an overwhelming sudden attack that was supposed to completely decapitate the country and wreck the whole eastern flank of NATO (we and Poland are the main NATO allies here, so with our collapse both Poland and Ukraine would fail soon). This has been prepared for years (since 2016) and failed because these r-slurs severely overestimated the whole 'Romania is a western democracy and a member of NATO and EU' while horribly underestimating the 'Romania is a semi-autocratic eastern european shithole' part

Georgescu winning with the help of some secret services (yes the conspiracy theories were right) and generals and becoming a dictator was the main part, which failed because the idea of a democratic state cancelling elections while people were voting was preposterous (too bad nobody here cares about democracy). The backup plan was to either start a violent revolution with the supporters they gathered in all these years, or to at least cause so much chaos that the whole country will become ungovernable (too bad Romania is the laziest and most cowardly country in Eastern Europe)

The coup step by step

• after communism we never cleaned the country and the institutions of russian agents and sympathisers, so they just waited patiently for an opportunity to strike and bring Romania back into Russia's sphere of influence

• the attack was carried by Russia with China's help and with the contribution of some other countries (probably third world countries bot armies)

• during the peak of the electoral campaign Georgescu became the 9th trending topic on TikTok or something (don't use TikTok dunno how it works), and since no one really cares that much about Romania, this is proof that China was doing dumb shit with their algorithms

• other disinfo campaigns that Russia is accused of (like Brexit) were basically tests to see how western countries react to online manipulations. Brexit is an important part here because of the whole 'you can't overturn the will of the people, so if a referendum passes you must honour it' conclusion. Russia was aware that they can't take over a western country, so they just focused on destabilising them, but they want to take over Eastern Europe, so the attack here was actually meant to be a coup and not just stirring shit for the lulz

• this has been in the works for years, possibly since 2016; Georgescu has been living in Austria without a job all this time where he prepared for his esoteric messiah role and slowly gathered a following of conspiracy nutjobs

• two weeks before the first elections an army of bots started to promote Georgescu everywhere on social media and especially on TikTok. Some accounts were older than the current TikTok, created when it was still only a chinese site. They got millions of people to vote for him.

• the idea was to keep everything hidden until the elections, when Georgescu will be promoted suddenly and massively, and by the time the authorities will realize something is wrong he will have already won the first voting round, at which point no one would dare to do anything against 'the will of the people' (that part worked)

• (at this point our secret services actually realized something is very funky and asked NATO for help without anyone knowing it)

• the mysterious recount happened because the number of votes given to each candidate didn't match the votes that were presented on the election website and the authorities were worried that Russia somehow managed to get involved in the election process, but apparently they just hacked the website to mess with the numbers?

• anyway, since everything was fine, the first round of the elections was validated and the election season continued while multiple secret services, both ours and foreign were taking notes

• other weird things happened in the first voting session, like lots of ballots reaching the voting booths being already pre-stamped for Georgescu, but people assumed incompetency rather than foul play

• well, it turns out that a big part of our authorities, from secret service agents to politicians to cops and army officials, tried to stage a soft coup and manipulate the elections to get Georgescu elected as president (and his other friends into the parliament). They tried to hide evidence from their colleagues, tripped up their investigations when they noticed something was wrong, distracted people, lied etc. The only reason they didn't succeed was because someone was smart enough to notify Burgerland first and only then tried to sort through all this mess

• when they noticed the scale of the infiltration, the heads of some secret services tried to resign in shame but our president didn't accept because everything was already too chaotic and destabilised

• NATO came up with the 'cancel the elections' plan which was supposed to be a last resort if everything else failed

• two days before the last election round, when the diaspora was already queued up to vote (and a few hundred people already did), the elections were finally cancelled. Coup effectively ended

• surprisingly, despite being a corrupt shithole and despite all this chaos, we survived what is now described to be the worse hybrid attack on a NATO/EU country

• (but seriously, imagine the russian guys responsible for this. People were already voting, no democracy will ever do anything to disturb the voting process at this point, all pieces were in place, your agent was two steps away from winning. All these years of work will pay off handsomely. This was supposed to be the first type of all hands on deck attack and it was a resounding success, one NATO country down, Ukraine finished, whatever else... And then, casually and without hesitation the elections were cancelled and everyone was told to go back home. And there's nothing you can do to save your hard work from being trampled )

The elections were cancelled just 40 minutes after it landed and most of that time was spent in traffic not in some meeting room Anyway, before that Merica also sent some specialists or something during these deranged weeks (and probably some CIA agents). • a huge mass of angry and scared people are the perfect recipe for a nasty protest right? Add our actual nazi groups (armed and trained militias) and some mercenaries usually fighting in third world shitholes joining in and you get an actual revolution

• yesterday, the funniest shit happened, and that was the last part of this plan, the final moment before the bloodshed will start. Georgescu appeared in some livestream and said to his supporters that the elections weren't actually cancelled, because in some purely freeman of the land fashion, the decree from the Constitutional Court wasn't signed properly and wasn't published on their site therefore it's not an actual binding declaration. In fact, the globalist state is lying to them all, the elections still happen normally, just that his supporters are tricked to stay at home so he can lose the elections. So, they must all still go and vote.

• the idea here was: hundreds if not thousands of people gather in the streets to vote, they can't vote because the elections are cancelled, they get angry and the police (already tense due to the whole coup thing) panic and start beating up people, the nazis then jump to defend them with guns and swords and everything descends into violence

• Doxing the original Cuties respecter, mrgirl, by examining his videos for distinguishing house and neighborhood features, then combing through hundreds of house listings on real estate sites in his general area to find the correct address

• Keeping logs of everyone Destiny follows on Twitter and Instagram so he can figure out who was staying at Destiny's apartment in a given week

• Creating multiple sock puppet accounts so he could argue with himself because he believed Destiny was watching what he posted in the thread, and he wanted to throw off Destiny so he'd be more willing to publicly hint at his new girlfriend

• Blocking at least a thousand people in a Groomercord server one by one because he was looking for a specific message

They're also in retreat, with Russian forces gradually retaking territory.

Veterans of previous doomed operations see parallels in what's happening in Kursk.

Military analysts insist that for all the hardship, the Kursk campaign continues to play an important role.

Quick background information that you should know

Romania was never a democracy and it will probably never be one either, it's a known 'secret' that the country is controlled by our secret services. After the revolution we never disbanded the secret service responsible for all the horrible shit happening during communism, we just asked them to stop killing people and left them to do whatever they were doing. So they just rebranded under a different name, retained all the control they had over the country and shaped the new 'democracy' and it's political landscape to fit their needs. Per capita, Romania has the most known secret service agents in EU, but the exact number of people employed is kept a secret, we just know that there are more than the official number. We don't even know how many glowie organizations we actually have since some of them are completely hidden, we just know that more organizations exist out there but nothing else. The secret services have no transparency and answer to no one, they have to give a briefing to the parliament about their activities every now and then, but beyond that no one can actually check on whatever they're doing. Obviously, there are a frick ton amount of conspiracy theories surrounding them and they are blamed for every unusual thing that happens in the country. And this is exactly what I'll be doing here

Second thing, we're an extremely docile nation who accepted pretty much everything those in power did over our history. Even during the revolution we calmed down immediately after killing Ceausescu and his wife, meaning that no one else was made to answer for the atrocities that happened during communism. Which is why the former generals and politicians still remain in politics today and why the secret services still control the country. So while reading this just remember that the population barely reacted to everything going on, aside from bitching on the internet a lot

On to the parties! We have three main political factions:

• the classic parties (PNL and PSD) They are the first parties established after the communism's fall and have people in all the state's institutions in order to control them. They are also known for closely working with the secret services and basically being owned by them. They make sure the glowie wishes are being fulfilled (for example it's accepted that the constant pro-EU and pro-NATO attitude Romania has has been enforced by the secret services) and in exchange they are allowed to steal as much tax money as they want. They have ruled for decades, each playing opposition to the other, while happily mooching money together. But they also neglected to do literally anything for the country so the population got increasingly fed up with them. While PNL started to fall to the side, PSD remains the biggest and strongest party in the country and is accused by every other party of manipulating the elections every single time. And yes, they actually do it every single time

• the woke parties (mainly USR) The party was created after people got fed up with the other parties for not doing anything to improve anyone's lives. They have modeled their program after the lib parties in Europe and America (mainly gay stuff but with some pro-Palestine messages too recently) but have libertarian tendencies. They infight a lot and split up in ever smaller parties all the time.

• the far right parties (AUR, SOS, POT) Newest and the most untested faction we have. Parties of all sorts of -ists, generally pro-Russia and anti-EU and NATO. Also lots of antisemitism, this will be important later. They argue a lot with each other but still try to form coalitions. All of them have been accused of being russian spies.

And lastly the candidates!

• Exceptionally stupid, has no idea on anything going on in the world despite wanting to become president

• Leader of the 'gay party' but tried to pretend to be trad and a christian. Nobody bought it.

• Believes that Israel should do a ceasefire because Hamas and Hezbollah are fighting each other in Gaza

• Massive schizo, internet conspiracy theorists could learn new conspiracies from him

• Independent, but part of the far right faction

• Believes romanian language was the one that created the latin language not vice versa

• Average Eastern Europe politician - corrupt and with no actual principles, will change opinions to keep his power

• Leader of the biggest party in the country and the candidate with the most control over the institutions

• Doesn't know english despite wanting to be president and meet other world leader

Simion

• Closeted gay gypsy. Politely doesn't mention he's a gypsy so we mostly pretend we don't notice

• Leader of the AUR party

• Yes, aur as in gold. Gypsies will forever remain gypsies

Sosoaca

• Very fat and vey angry all the time. Will fight literally everyone at any moment, even her 'allies'

• Leader of SOS party, also yes named after her

• The last two aren't that important on their own, but since Georgescu basically didn't exist until voting started they were the most important representatives. Both fell to the side after Georgescu appeared

Before the elections

Quick note: we had two different elections recently, the presidential ones (in two parts) and the parliamentary ones. So, since we only vote on sundays, three weeks of voting in total.

• At this point in time Georgescu was completely unknow to anyone so the older parties were expecting to fight only two parties, both ruled by loud and stupid leaders. and parties have been mortal enemies for years while the are fighting both groups while also screaming at each other. Despite the rightoids slowly growing in power nobody thought they can do much in the elections.

• Sosoaca has been forbidden by the Constitutional Court to candidate for the president position because she made some 'unconstitutional' statements - anti EU/NATO and for some antisemitism. This is a huge breach of the Court's duties because they have nothing to do with how the elections are organized, other institutions are responsible for this. But the Constitutional Court answers to no one and their decisions are law (I'm sure you can see a pattern) so she got kicked out of the race despite all her angry screaming. The decision was later retracted but oops too late to rejoin the race

• The Constitutional Court is made from judges appointed by different parties, mostly the ones, so everyone was aware that are manipulating the elections again. But since Sosoaca is annoying and since she's suspected of working with Russia nobody really cared.

• In a rare public announcement SRI (main secret service organization for internal affairs) announced that the AUR party is suspected of having ties with Russia too. This wasn't news for anyone but it's nice to have an official confirmation I guess. But they also said the there is no proof of any external interference in any political candidate's campaign so they won't interfere with the elections in any way (it's still unclear if the last statement applied to Georgescu as well or not since he basically didn't exist at this point).

• Ciolacu who has been accused by everyone to work with Simion to win the elections reacted angrily to this. Basically, he'll support the party to reach the second voting session and there AUR will be this huge threat that will scare people into voting for Ciolacu in exchange of whatever political benefits he promised them after his win (like naming their leader prime minister). Anyway Ciolacu accused SRI of overstepping it's boundaries. They didn't react to this. Everyone else was angry that PSD is manipulating the elections again and even of risking Romania's security by working with a russian spy, while some even accepted that they'll manage to win. But beyond these points things moved on smoothly.

• This section is mostly important as a contrast to how the secret services and other political institutions reacted to potential russian spies (keep an eye out, open communications, quick decisions) and how they'll react from now on.

First presidential election!

• The battle was supposed to be between Ciolacu and Lasconi Ciolacu should win most votes inside Romania but Lasconi could beat him with the votes gathered from diaspora.

• A news article about a 'surprise' coffee house meeting between Ciolacu , Simion , the other party's leader and a secret service officer was written sometimes in the last weeks before the elections and someone rediscovered it. Lasconi's voters are annoyed. This is clear proof that PSD is once again manipulating elections.

• Voting happens and after that the counting starts. For awhile things were normal: Lasconi first, then Ciolacu, Simion and on the fourth place some independent candidate nobody heard about, Gergescu . Who is he and how the frick did he get so high?

• Then Georgescu climbed on the third place replacing Simion No seriously, who is this guy? Nobody heard of him.

• Then he dethroned Ciolacu from the second place. This was quite shocking because the idea of PSD not ending in the last presidential election tour was unthinkable. This were the last results most people witnessed before going to bed. The counting will go throughout the night and the official results would be announced in the morning. Lasconi's voters were naturally overjoyed.

• Morning came... and Georgescu was on the first place, way in front of the other candidates. just happened?

The week before the parliamentary elections

• The parliamentary elections happened a week after the first presidential elections. Obviously it was a very busy week after such a weird turn of events

• Everyone was confused as shit and started to search who the frick Georgescu even was. Turns out that he was a complete nutjob: he believes in all sort of new age shit (mystical energies, crystals, communicating with spirits, natural healing bullshit) every conspiracy theory out there (moon landing is false, covid is a hoax, aliens, jews control the word, satanic NWO, you name it), is very against NATO and EU to the point where he wants to pull Romania out of them, and praises Russia at any given opportunity while hating Ukraine and considering it a fake country. He also praised our version of Hitler and called him a hero

• So, where did this schizo came from? All of his campaign happened on TikTok. No media appearances, no poster, no fliers, nothing. He just gathered a following on TikTok through his insane ramblings and convinced these people to vote for him. Since he was deepthroating Russia's peepee left right and center, and since Russia is known for manipulating social media through an army of bots, everyone (aside from his voters) started to get worried that he's yet another russian spy trying to overthrow our democracy.

• Wtf are our secret services doing? What's the point of them eating so many of our taxes if they can't even defend the country from Russia? How could they miss this huge attack on our country? But every one of them remained silent and didn't react in any way to all this chaos.

• People started to get more confused and more videos of Georgescu saying insane shit were uncovered. More and more voices started to scream about russian interferences, but a few people pointed out an uncomfortable truth - PSD was always viewed as the party that supports the current political 'system' and USR as the anti-system candidates but that was when USR was founded. Now it's been years since then, USR won some important political positions and did nothing important with them or messed up... they've became part of the system just as much as PSD. The are voted mainly for being new faces against institutional corruption rather than because people agree with their insane positions. How do you earn these voters back now that they're about to throw Romania into Russia's arms out of spite?

• Vote observers from small villages came forth and said that PSD told them to count their votes to AUR's tally to propel them into the final round so he can have an easy win ("We fricking knew PSD is manipulating elections once again!" ). But it turns out that they were giving their votes to Georgescu as well. Wut? Did they know about him?

• Meanwhile Georgescu declared that he received zero money for his campaign and that he also spent no money during it (this is important for later). This lead to people saying that this is proof that Russia financed him in order to destabilized the country. Also multiple people were fined for still campaigning on the voting day with is illegal, and to everyone's annoyance Georgescu's supporters, who were doing it too, were completely unaffected

• Ciolacu and the leader of the other party stepped down from their leadership positions due to their embarrassing defeats (this will be important later on too).

• Now some weird accusations start to appear Sosoaca accused Georgescu of being a Mossad spy while an AUR member accused him of being a CIA asset instead. Both of these parties like to scream hysterically at everyone else so nobody really took them seriously. A former president known for his collaboration with the former communist secret services told everyone to calm down since there is no proof that Georgescu was financed by outside actors. He was actually financed by individual inside the country. Wtf does this means?

• Research into Georgescu's past revealed further oddities. Man was probably part of the old communist secret services (very few people were allowed to travel outside the country and despite being completely unremarkable he was allowed to go out multiple times), has been working with the KGB (to spy on them), has been a member of the Club of Rome (think tank for helping humanity develop sustainably or some shit, the important part that another romanian politician with ties to the secret services was there too), he was part of the UN and has been a freemason (for the last two he claimed that he left them because of all the evil shit happening inside the organisations). He also has been arrested in the past for his support of nazis but his cases were mysteriously closed with no explanation given

• A handful of r-slurs protested every day since Georgescu won the first tour but nobody cared

The recount and the slow death of Romania's democracy

• A few days after the official election results come in an independent candidate who only gained 1% of the votes decided to contest the elections despite having no chances to win. He wrote two different complaints, one against Lasconi and one against Georgescu The accusation against Georgescu was rejected because it was made after the three days limit expired, despite the complainer's insistance that he made the contestation in time. But the accusation against Lasconi was accepted. His declaration stated that in three different locations the votes that were supposed to go to Ciolacu were actually counted for Lasconi. The Constitutional Court once again overstepped it's boundaries and ordered for all the votes to be re-counted.

• At this point people were starting to get worried. Half of them were accusing PSD of preferring to burn down democracy rather than accept that they lost the elections for the first time (again, most of the judges appointed to the constitutional court came from the two main parties). Basically, since you didn't vote for our candidate we'll remake the elections until Ciolacu enters the final round. And since the difference between Ciolacu and Lasconi were really small while Georgescu was way ahead of both of them, it means that Lasconi will get kicked out of the race in favor of Ciolacu, which means a landslide victory for Georgescu due to the anti-system voters.

• The other half noticed that up til now everything happening favored Georgescu He avoided every possible consequence despite multiple irregularities in his campaign unlike other candidates (for example Sosoaca was pulled out of the race for saying milder shit than him) and all this scandal would further raise his popularity as the anti-system candidate. Is it possible that the secret services are actually protecting the nutjob? It would explain why they haven't done anything to stop him. They haven't even said anything to reassure the population that things are fine. Shit...

• Some politician made a petition for TikTok to be banned in Romania for the duration of the elections to prevent Georgescu from campaigning. People were torn between considering this yet another hit on democracy but enough of us were happy to do anything to stop Georgescu (same thing for the recount actually). The petition wasn't approved and later on he apologized for trying to shut down the funny videos app for everyone.

• Our secret services still said nothing at this point, and the EU decided to finally do something in their place. They called the owner of the application and demanded explanations for the bot filled campaign. Georgescu's voters got angry at this and said that this is proof that EU interferes in Romania's business and that we should distance ourselves form it. The investigation didn't reveal much, lots of bots, some russian but not all. No real proof of election interference

• Our current president finally decided to react to the panic and said that the secret services hadn't given him any warnings about Georgescu

• As a shock for everyone, Ciolacu came out and said that he disagrees with the Court's decision and that he'll pull out of the race if he's declared winner after the recount. B-but all this was supposed to be his plan to steal the election to enter the final round, wtf is going on? If he doesn't want this then who does? Predictably, most people realized that he's bullpooping and that he'll walk this back if he actually wins

• Now things get nasty. A weird facebook poster claimed that he was accidentally added to a mail list between multiple former secret service agents that were discussing using Georgescu to stage a coup. Basically the members of the former communist secret services were upset that the country distanced itself from Russia and wanted to forcefully bring us back into it's influence zone. One mail specifically said that we should become a satellite of China (?). Panic started to settle now, this was proof that at least some secret services wanted Georgescu to win and since they control the country then there's nothing we can do to stop them After this news people discovered that the parties (all of them) have the largest number of known former secret services officers as members, further cementing the conspiracy theories that our own secret services are dragging us all towards Russia

• Oddly enough Georgescu started to soften his positions. He declared that he doesn't actually wants to take us out of NATO and EU, he just wants us to stop agreeing unconditionally with everything they decide (like helping Ukraine), that America is Romania's most important partner, and despite being an actual nazi, he started sucking Israel's peepee hard. He said that on the first day after he's declared president he will move our embassy to Jerusalem, declare the arrest request for Bibi as unconstitutional and that he'll invite him to visit Romania, and that he'll not only make antisemitism a crime (it already is just not really enforced) but that he'll expand the definition of it as well You'd expect his nazi followers to be upset at that but they barely reacted at all. There were a few disappointed messages but they got over it in less than a day Leftists were more affected than them because muh war criminal muh genocide

• Anyway, moving on, we still have so much more to cover After the Israel stuff some guys noticed a few odd things about Georgescu's videos. He praised Orban and mentioned stuff about Romania tightening ties with Asia, which was also present in Orban's declarations. Since Orban, and a few other eastern european leaders, refused to arrest Bibi, since his speech mirrors Orban's, since he wants to remain an ally to Murica but wants to sever ties with Western Europe and since he has similar ideas of 'befriending' Russia as Trump, rumours started that Georgescu is an american and/or israeli spy. Basically, Trump wants to break ties with Western Europe but still wants to keep control of Eastern Europe and get it closer to Russia and China, who America will become friendlier towards, and Georgescu is meant to force Romania to play it's part in this plan. So, what where those accusations about him being a CIA/Mossad asset again?

• This didn't reassure anyone because Trump is already viewed as Putin's friend and OMG America is going to force us back under Russia, and how the frick is a shithole from Eastern Europe supposed to defend itself from the CIA and/or Mossad? Especially since our secret services, the ones supposed to protect us, seem to agree with all of this? At this point the general mood became depressed and fatalistic

• Rumours started that RFK jr and Tucker Carlson will come to Romania to show support for Georgescu Some journo even showed a letter from Murica's embassy in Romania with Trump's signature as proof. But nobody on murican side confirmed any of this. Later on, one of Trump's former campaign managers also hinted at coming to Romania for this but in a really vague way. Everyone was confused

• A new party appeared for the parliamentary race, POT, considered Georgescu's unofficial party. They had the exact same TikTok strategy as him, but if we can assume that Georgescu managed to hide long enough from the secret services through TikTok how did these guys slip through? Surely, at this point our secret services are aware of this electoral interference, right? Why aren't they stopping it?

• Leader of this new party visited Beijing at some point and promised that Romania will have closer ties with China if they win. Why is everyone trying to make us China's allies anyway, we didn't had much ties with them in the first place?

• Recounts start. Constitutional Court ordered all recounts to be done behind closed doors, with no camera or supervisors. Shit, it's happening, we're getting couped Ciolacu entering the final round won't help anyone since his party is completely controlled by the secret services and he won't do anything to fight their plans. Basically between him and Georgescu we're fricked no matter who wins

• Another handful of r-slurs gathered to protest but were quickly told to go home. Nothing else happened

• Oh, and that part about Gerogescu declaring zero donations and expenses? Turns out the institution responsible for checking up the candidates' campaign finances 'forgot' to publish the financial declarations for nearly a week, which is why his absurd declaration flied under the radar. Also, it's too late to do anything about it now, contestation time limit has long since passed

• But plot twists! Turn out RFK jr won't actually come to Romania, turn out Georgescu wasn't even a member of the Club of Rome, just part of some affiliated organization, and the same thing happened with his UN membership. Wtf, does this guy even exists at this point? But wait! He was actually part of the UN... but no one knows who appointed him there in the first place Clearly this is some glowie shit and we already know he was a glowie and that he's supported by glowies

The parliamentary elections

• These are actually the most important elections since the president barely has any power here. The parliament makes the laws. Candidate parties need to meet a certain voting threshold to win and the winners will make alliances with each other. While a dominant alliance that owns over 50% of the seats is preferred for a stable parliament we can have multiple smaller alliances negotiating each action, but that's a really unstable situation.

• The recounts are still going. Everyone is stressed and demoralized. Why do we even bother to vote if the Constitutional Court will just throw away the results again?

• Turns out the other party managed to get itself kicked out of the diaspora voting lists for not listing a woman candidate among their member lists. Funny lol r-slurs but once again, why is every happening favoring Georgescu ?

• Voting happens and the votes are counted. Because of PSD's bullshit not everybody can vote in these elections (you need to vote in the place you live in, so students or workers who travel for their jobs are eliminated) and diaspora's votes barely count. So the results now are different. All three factions failed to reach a majority. No matter what, the parliament is split in three and they need to negotiate with each other to make a majority

• Since diaspora's vote didn't count here PSD got most votes and become the most important player. No matter what, they will join the ruling alliance, and again the parliament actually controls the country not the president. This could be good or bad depending on whether they are actually trying to coup the country or if they just want to keep being able to steal tax money (later one means that they won't pull us out of EU) But if they ally with the parties and if Georgescu wins the presidency and if Georgescu appoints Ciolacu (or someone else from their party) as prime minister then together they will effectively control all parts of the country. And again, if the conspiracy theories with the secret services forcing us towards Russia is true then no one will be able oppose that plan

• Yet no one moved to make any alliance at this point since the recount haven't been finished and nobody even knows who can become president yet

Current situation!

• The recounts are finally finished! ...and nothing changed. All the panic and all the conspiracy theories were in vain. The second tour of the presidential elections will go without any changes - pro EU Lasconi vs pro-Russia Georgescu Last voting session will still happen this weekend But then what was the point of all this bullshit and chaos? Best anyone can come up with is that PSD tried to steal the first elections but either failed or waited to see how the parliamentary elections faired to settle on one strategy. And since they basically won the important election there's no point in remaking the first elections. Politicians

• Ciolacu revealed that he won't actually step down as PSD's leader. What a surprise Everyone is waiting to see who PSD will support both as president and as an ally for the parliament but they still haven't decided. Shit maybe they do actually want to ally with ?

• Until this point our secret services still said absolutely nothing about the situation, so Lasconi finally gathered the courage to do something that should have been done since the beginning: ask them directly what the frick is happening here She made a petition for them to make public the files they have on Georgescu Which they agreed (but only gave a rapport rather the actual files)

• It don't reveal much: some 'state actors' helped promote him on TikTok in a way that proved that they were very familiar with the algorithm and with how to keep themselves hidden from the state. The campaign had lots of similarities with the disinformation campaigns happening in Ukraine and the election interference happening in Moldova, both carried by Russia. But they don't name Russia as Georgescu's backers directly. Still, it's clear that Russia was behind this right? The secret services just can't reveal everything and endanger national security, yeah? The cops have decided to finally start investigating Georgescu and the media is calling him a traitor. Ciolacu came out and officially said that he supports Lasconi for president and that his party will join with her party and the other parties to form a pro- west parliamentary majority in order to block out the parties. It's finally over and Romania is saved

• Well, you see, it's too late to remove the russian asset from the presidential race since the contestation time window is over and we can't kick him out any longer Yes, he might be a literal traitor trying to sell the country to Russia, so what?

• Plus the files also revealed that the secret services were aware of Georgescu's campaign and his ties with Russia all this time. Good thing they aren't incompetent, right? • The police and other authorities said that they received no warning for Georgescu no message or documents, nothing despite the secret services having files on him for who knows how long. They are just as shocked as anyone else. Even if they start investigating him now it might take awhile to arrest him. The elections might be done already. Sure, they could still cancel his mandate on treason charges, probably, but will they? And what does 'state actors' even means? It could just mean our secret services. And even if they specifically mean foreign state actors, we can go back to the CIA/Mossad conspiracy theory

• Are we still getting couped? Do they care so little about our opinions that they will tell us straight to our face that we'll join Russia and that there's nothing we can do about it?

Today

I wrote all this yesterday, so here are the latest developments

• Gergescu is still in the race. Yes, there are hints that some secret services support Georgescu , presumably the others are against him... hopefully

• We have notified NATO, EU and our neighbours that there were hostile foreign interferences into our elections

• A criminal investigation on him by multiple institutions has started, but it's unclear if it will help with anything. What will happen if he wins the election?

• EU demanded TikTok to not delete his campaign data

• The guy who demanded a recount came back and asked for both elections to be cancelled. Nobody knows what's his problem

• America asked us if we're ok. We still don't have an answer to this question.

• No seriously, why aren't they arresting him yet? Why didn't they actually do anything all this time?

So, this sunday I'll go vote in an election that might have it's winner already decided or might just get cancelled after the votes are counted An one of the candidates is an admittedly traitor to the country. And last week's elections might have been the last real elections I voted in, even if Georgescu loses this is the perfect opportunity for PSD to tighten it's control over the country even more But the whole shitshow is still going strong so I'll keep you up to date

Tl;dr he bought a defunct company (Murfie) that held onto peoples CDs and vinyl and tried to move it to an impoverished shithole in Arkansas because property value was cheap. The town drove him insane and methheads robbed him daily but he decided to buy up 1000 more properties anyway, most recently a 7 story school administrative building with no plan on what exactly to do with it. He has also tried to run for mayor there as a Libertarian and got arrested for throwing a tantrum at a city council meeting when they said he couldn't turn one of his abandoned warehouse properties into a go-kart track. He represented himself in court.

All of the property of Murfie has been sitting in a bunch of shipping containers while he runs around Hell on Earth acting like a retard. To be clear the average customer of Murfie is like 70 years old. The business would take a CD or vinyl from you and for a subscription fee allow you to listen to your CD or vinyl over a streaming service the entire concept is like something out of the dotcom boom. All of his videos have comments like this from confused customers.

Most of them have had to accept that this inventory is gone, had this dumbass not gotten involved it would have all likely ended up at a landfill anyway because nobody in their right mind would have purchased this company.

However there is one guy who really, really wants his CDs. @PontifierAR on Twitter (Formerly Chuck's) has this pinned to profile and has been dedicated to harassing him for the past five years.

I don't know what timezone he's in, but he's definitely American. His first tweets of the day are all around the same time. He is apparently waking up and thinking about the post first thing in the morning , seething about it throughout the day, and continues to well into the evening, likely shortly before going to sleep . There is hilarious schadenfreude in John's story but a lot of people here seem to root for him. Background

Chris Watts (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watts_family_murders) is a family annihilator who murdered his pregnant wife Shannan and two young children 2018. They were a striving middle class family in a mcmansion, with Shannan being a a stay at home mother/MLM scammer/influencer, and Chris earning relatively large sums on the oil fields. They had no recorded domestic violence history, no real criminal history, and were famously white attractive. Case got a lot of attention because the police released a lot of information, including bodycam footage of the moment Chris is confronted with evidence that his wife couldn't have run away with the kids in the way he claimed. After a day or two of telling the media he misses his disappeared family, he confesses to the crime and hundreds of hours of true crime content is born. He gets fan mail from crazies in jail to this day.

The defenders

Who would defend such a man, you ask? To answer that, we have to understand the volumous internet presence Shannan had on social media up until her murder. She posted several times a day, including livestreams, in order to shill her MLM product and present a curated picture of her 'perfect' life. These posts and streams are a morbid curiosity to people because Chris featured often, and people say you can tell he seems disinterested and disengaged even back then (to me he just seems like a guy bored by his wife's incessesant posting and filming, tbh).

Because of how widespread this is, it's near impossible to gaze upon any discussion of the topic without noticing how many people seem focussed on how unlikeable Shannan is, how hard Chris must have had it. At least until recently, reddit had snark-style subs dedicated to pooping on Shannan's online presence (which seems like a dead end considering there is only so much content she will ever produce). Shannan's personality on social media is so fundarnetally annoying and unlikeable, apparently, that hordes of people are more compelled by that than the cold blooded triple murder by her husband.

I never promised I had a point. I suppose I find this drama-worthy because it's truly fascinating to me that this woman was apparently so annoying, and hit on so many of reddit's sore spots (fake disroder cringe, influence life) that it overrode the normal reddit instinct to find a female victim of her husband murdering her and her kids sympathetic. To be clear, none of these people met Shannan while she was alive or even saw her posts prior to her death. They have created an image of her post-mortem they find so infuriating they are posting about it six years later. Majority of the reddit users are women, which further excludes inceldom as a

primary motivator.

I, for one, strive to be such an annoying person that my eventual death by murder is the least interesting thing about me.

WHAT THE FRICK IS GOING ON

Around 2014, shortly before I went to prison, the civil war in Syria was very fun to follow - the Ukraine or Israel of its day but less normie. It was in the sweet spot between these wars - very well reported, slow, and with a couple of cohesive factions - and jiggaboo hijinks in Africa where there are dozens of factions, zero cohesiveness, minimal information, and rapid butt movements and upsets because Russians came or a white man got mad.

Then I got out and shit was boring again. ISIS was gone, the rebels were cucked, and Assad had mostly won. How'd that happen?

2011-2012: Humble beginnings

Bashar Assad, the Alawite leader of Syria, had brutally oppressed his people for many years. In Arab fashion, it took American glowies on X (at the time known as "twitter") to galvanize them into rebelling, which they did, mostly ineffectually, over 2011-2012.

Though their achievements were minimal, with every massacre and atrocity, Assad's grip over the population and business establishment weakened. This emboldened individuals and factions, and everyone (perceiving weakness) shifted from keeping their head down to aiming for a piece of the Syrian pie.

2013: Shit gets real

Red is Assad, supported by the Alawites (inhabiting the coast, mostly), secularish and nationalist Syrians, certain classes of society like Sunni businessmen who supported him pragmatically, various Sunnis in his patronage network, and regular people either coerced or cajoled into it.

He was backed by Iran in exchange for further influence, an open lane to supply its Shiite proxies, like Hezbollah (via Iraq), and as a geopolitical ally and counterweight to the western gulf states. Also, to a lesser extent, by Russia (who operate a port in Syria), China and other contrarians.

Green is almost everyone else: dozens of armed groups with grandiose names and wide-ranging political views, from moderate Islamists to hardcore Islamists. You think I'm kidding. No joke, every single Sunni Arab anti-Assad group at the time had some flavor of Islamic flavoring. The "moderate" guys wore short beards, listened to music and took American funds while beheading Alawites whereas the hardcore guys beheaded music listeners and moderates too

The rebels held the suburbs - but not centers - of Damascus (capital) and Aleppo (second biggest city), the rural north (Sunni and neglected under Assad) and various positions in between. They were supported by wealthy gulf donors, Turkey, who gave them a free hand to cross the border and engage in commerce, and western powers like America and Europe. Like any non-state group they engaged in their fair share of smuggling, petty crime, taxation and tolls.

Yellow are the Kurds, who varied politically and religiously but always put their Kurdishness first. Initially, they were anti-Assad due to years of oppression, etc. but seeing how the Islamists treated them turned them more pragmatic. Poor guys, nobody except Israel likes them :(

There were also some Druze in the south, under the green faction for convenience.

2014: Rise-is of ISIS

Some ex-al Qaeda members in Iraq, battle-hardened and bored, saw an opportunity in the power vacuum to free Sunnis from Assad, which in practice became freeing them from their more lenient Sunni overlords (rebel militias proving an easier target than a theoretically professional army). Within a few months, they bulldozed most of the Syrian rebel factions in the east, turning their sights onto and humiliating Iraq as well.

At their height that winter ISIS was wrecking Arab armies everywhere and about to demolish Kobane / Ayn al Arab (one of the three Kurdish cantons). They did so much nasty shit there's no point in mentioning or cataloging it. IIKYK, if not, have a listicle I haven't read from google. Many locals felt some kinda way about their behavior but couldn't do much without getting beheaded. However, besides a huge number of foreign volunteers from shitholes like Chechnya and Tunisia, they also had local support from true believers, Shia-haters and those who appreciated unified governance over the mess of squabbling factions which had preceded it.

The Western reaction was wholly negative, so much so that even stodgy bureaucrats, Assad opponents, and kumbaya-singing libcucks from cowardly first world nations were galvanized into action. In September, 26 countries met in Paris and agreed to started bombing ISIS heavily; the US also bullied Turkey into letting the Kurds take their shit back.

2015: Meh

Not much changed this year. Besides Kurdish successes, the rebels took Idlib and consolidated in the south with the Druze. Most of the rebel-Assad line of battle was very low intensity, like Ukraine today. Neither side had the manpower, weaponry or supplies to engage in a more serious manner. In Iraq, the jihadis suffered multiple serious defeats by Shiite paramilitaries and the army.

I'm mostly not covering other name and branding changes in this article but (since it might come up later) in exchange for American support the Kurds accepted some token Arab groups and rebranded as the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in October.

2016: Two more weeks

There was a ceasefire most of the first half of the year, everyone focussing on beating ISIS. You'll notice a large green swath in the south: a Jordanian-trained, Western-aligned, U.S.-led opposition group. When the greenbacks started coming in, they spun off from the Allahu Akbar brigade, traded bobbing their heads 5 times a day for a pair of raybans and never looked back. No bullshit, check the article, their predecessor organization was literally called that. 'Moderates'

They remain there to this day.

The latter part of the year offensives ramped up against the jihadis.

2017: Bye-SIS

Mainly Assad and the Kurds benefitted from pushing ISIS' shit in, with the exception of that small green slice up north: Erdogan's belated decision to establish a direct Turkish proxy instead of broadly supporting the opposition. That said, progress was slow as mutual enemies proceeded cautiously. That changed in July, when America and Russia agreed to a ceasefire to focus on the jihadis. Crucially, America agreed to stop funding and supplying most rebel groups. By then, ISIS had lost the north side of the Euphrates and many key positions, but still retained their capital, Raqqa, and significant territory within Syria and Iraq.

By the end of the year that was gone too. The terrorists were defeated, and all they'd accompished in the long run was a transfer of Sunni Arab land to Alawites and Kurds.

2018: Tits-urkey and Butt-ad

Turkey was pissed off at the success the Kurds were having and the fact PKK (Kurdish rebels from Turkey) fighters were a large part of the Kurdish army. Also, 3 to 4 million Syrian refugees had fled to Turkey, where they were causing societal issues !chuds and !nooticers might recognize. Consequently, they invaded Ifrin (the leftmost canton), kicked out the Kurds and resettled many refugees there.

Meanwhile Assad took the opportunity to wipe out any rebel pockets left south of Idlib/Aleppo. By and large, he seemed the biggest winner of a multi-year debacle which had left hundreds of thousands dead, an economy destroyed, and many millions fled in all directions, but Assad still in office and in control of the majority of the country and its population, and in negotiations with the Kurds, who'd earned some crucial respect and were angling for autonomy (obviously, independence was a non-starter, given the small size of Syrian Kurdistan, hostile neighbords, lack of port and the presence of Arab factions within the SDF).

2019: Sunni shenanigans

You'll notice a splotch of c*m on the green; over the course of the year, HTS (a Salafi Islamist group that had, unlike ISIS, renounced global jihad) mostly subdued other rebels in the Idlib area. Also, Turkey expanded their foothold in the east to a 30-km "buffer zone." The Kurds reacted by letting Assad's troops in to reestablish their presence alongside SDF forces throughout much of northern Syria. Notably, throughout the whole war, Turkey refused to consider a full invasion of Syria or direct, serious confrontation with Assad (for boring reasons), so this was basically ensuring an end to Turkish incursions in exchange for letting Assad back in the hen house.

In October, Trump's Navy SEALs capped Baghdadi in Idlib. The world rejoiced.

2020:

Assad, with serious Russian support, pushed up on Idlib, and the Kurds let him operate in even more of their territory. Dozens of Turks got merked by the Russians (probably on accident), causing a diplomatic rift and retaliatory bombing of Syrian gov't positions.

2021-2024: Nothing ever happens

The frontlines stabilized and fossilized, most direct conflict ending.

Sanctions of Assad's economy caused him to increasingly rely on the production and distribution of Captagon (meth / adderall type stim) to the gulf for foreign currency. Deciding their shit wasn't fricked enough, G-d sent them some earthquakes.

The Kurds mostly acknowledged Assad's suzerainty in case of a war with Turkey while retaining their militias and local administration. Occasional skirmishes against the Syrian Army and between Kurds and Arabs within the SDF continued.

HTS "unified" Idlib - in the bare minimum sense that the 11 other factions there acknowledged their superior position while remaining independent - and started professionalizing their army, integrating drones and shit.

The American proxies sit in the desert guarding a CIA listening post and the only direct road from Baghdad to Damascus.

I was busy mowing the lawn, trimming trees and hedges, weeding, cleaning out the AC drain and, like all Americans, having Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey, not Syria, was on my mind.

Are Islamists (HTS), Turkey (SNA) and the Kurds (SDF) - the most unlikely allies - really going to campaign together against Assad? After 13 years during which zero cooperation took place between anyone, including at times when a slight intervention by, say, Turkey or Israel would have toppled the dictator? Number one pick: Space Above and Beyond. It's largely about WW2 (they will mention during the show stuff like this "hey this is like Guadalcanal") and Vietnam but told as sci-fi which gives them the opportunity to open it up to other stories. Made by Morgan & Wong, the guys who did all the really good parts of the X-Files. Hence the nerd in "Jose Chung's From Outer Space" (best episode of tv ever) wearing this t-shirt.

Probably the most underrated TV show of all time. It's not just the same stock war movie characters you've seen since the 1940s, there's interesting stuff going on. Much of it was very directly ripped off for Battlestar Galactica. Canceled after one season in a pretty epic ending.

Other sci-fi shows from that era that you may have overlooked (at least I did). I ignored these at the time because Trek had my expectations too high, but they're quite watchable:

• Stargate SG-1 - Doesn't take itself as seriously as Star Trek but in a good way. It's fun. The problem is you've got to watch the episodes in order because you have to actually know the lore.

• Total Recall 2070 - Blade Runner turned into a TV show, except they couldn't get the rights to Blade Runner so they bought another Philip Peepee property. Very underrated. Maybe the closest to a Star Trek show on this list.

• Battlestar Galactica - As I said earlier, ripped off a lot from SAAB. It was kind of a breath of fresh air at the time as it was a little bit more real and post-9-11 than the slop we'd been served before. Goes off the rails toward the end because the writers had no idea what to do. Stop watching when you get to a plot twist that's just too much for you.

• Earth: Final Conflict - I've only seen maybe 15 episodes but it's got some interesting stuff going on. The best depiction I've ever seen of how an alien invasion would really work.

• The Outer Limits (1990s) - Surprisingly really good, actually better than the original probably. I totally missed this back when it was on. I guess it wasn't broadcast here.

• Max Headroom - Late 1980s cyberpunk show. Pretty good. To me one of the most interesting things about sci-fi is what it says about the time when it was made. It's very interesting for that. That era when people involved with computers understood the internet was coming soon and the general public had a vague idea that it was.

• Farscape - I've seen scattered episodes and I'm ambivalent. I do not like the puppet aliens. There's a reason why in Star Trek the aliens are all just people with ridges on their forehead or funny hats. But there's a few episodes of this I got sucked into and really liked. I intend to watch more.

Older TV shows that must be watched (that aren't completely obvious):

• The Rockford Files - A couple weeks ago I was talking to this random old boomer on the train and I was like "Man, how about the Rockford Files." And he's like "James Garner amirite." And I'm like "We don't have anyone that cool anymore." Private investigator who is a gigachad but also vulnerable and half the time he's clueless about what's going on and getting the shit beaten out of him. Has some very high-brow episodes.

• Hawaii Five-O - Again, cop show with better scripts, actors, people giving a shit than usual and a fascinating setting.

• Columbo - The mystery genre flipped around on its head. You see who committed the murder in the beginning. The mystery is how Detective Columbo is going to catch him. It's based on the interplay between Peter Falk's Columbo, who fakes being an annoying slob, against the guest star playing the murderer who is just as good. You'll recognize a lot: Montalban, Shatner, Nimoy, Vaughn, McGoohan, let's see... Culp, Landau... basically all the top actors of the time. Even if it doesn't sound interesting, give it a try.

• The Outer Limits (1960s) - An inferior rip-off of The Twilight Zone, but still pretty good most of the time. If nothing else, watch the episode that James Cameron ripped off to make Terminator just to see how he never had any good ideas of his own.

• Relic Hunter - Tia Carrere is being Indiana Jones but she also needs to take her shirt off at least once an episode. Surprisingly good for what it is.

• Honey West - Early 1960s show with Anne Francis (of Forbidden Planet, Twilight Zone, etc.) as a sexy private detective who has a pet ocelot and a pet man. Again, fascinating if nothing else for seeing how a female action hero was depicted then.

Cop shows:

• The Shield - A team of corrupt LAPD detectives against all the scum on the street and their honest fellow cops. Remarkably realistic about how people really are. No Hannibal Lecter genius cannibals.

• Miami Vice - There's actually a lot of overlap between the writers here and TNG. It's a cop show in an interesting setting where they just try a little harder than usual. The writers, directors, everyone is just about 50% better than usual.

Korean and Japanese dramas:

If you're willing to step outside your comfort zone a little, there's endless hours of great content out there. This is what I did when I'd run out of American TV to watch. I don't watch as much anymore but I can recommend lots of stuff.

Ukraine now is in giga shit situation. Ukraine in their best case scenario with lowering mobilisation age can get 250k men. When they lowered from 27 to 25 they expected 500k men. There was some logic behind why in 25-27 are more people than in 18-25

With 325,000 users' emails supposedly in this leak, I decided to do some quick analysis on his fan base to test my hypothesis that they're mostly brown people like Tate himself.

How I obtained my data

1. Downloaded the leaked files and scraped them for email addresses.

2. Parsed all the email addresses, and extracted names from emails in the 'firstname.lastname@ email.xxx' format. I could have probably done this in a more sophisticated way but... I couldn't be fricked lol. I got a total of 67,000 names from this method so overall not too bad I guess.

Analysis

With my list of names, I thought the best way to determine whiteness would be through the last names, but looking through the most frequently occurring names it was either shit like "crypto", "business", "shop", or just random gibberish. I decided to try using first names instead

In order to determine if a first name was "white" or "brown", I decided to just do it based on my own judgement, going through a list of the most frequently occurring names and labeling them as either "W", "B", or "I" (inconclusive). I was pretty picky when it came to labeling a name as "white", for example I felt a name like "Alex" was probably just a bit too common/multicultural at this point to be considered a white name while a giga-crakkker name like "Kyle" or "Jeremy" was.

The final step was to just run this flagging system against the total list of names, and the results were...... drumroll please

White Name Count: 9807

Brown Name Count: 3907

HOLY CRAP!!! I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG AND ANDREW TATE FANS ARE CRACKERS?????

So, this is a bit late, I celebrated Thanksgiving a week early so didn't have time to play, so let's pick up where we left off.

So it's well known that, at some point, this game was planned to be a live service title. You can see a bit of that in the faction areas.

You earn rep, there are rep grinds, and unlock rep tiers, to get new items from rep merchants. Kinda like Destiny.

The Veil Jumpers want us to find their missing remembers a check in on a town that's gone dark. All your current party members (4) come with, which makes me wonder why they reduced the party size to 3 . On the way to the village the game takes the opportunity to show case 1 of the only 2 thing your party members are good for. Puzzles, kinda, will get to that later.

I'll say this about the art direction of it really does take the bite out of the mysticism and grandeur of a lot of thrse places we've only heard about in the previous games [emphasis on games]. I guess that's an inevitability when it comes to AAA soulless slop

The blighted village segment is another talkie hallway, I guess they were trying to build atmosphere here m, but the lighting is too bright and the cringe writing prevents anything from seeming eerie like blighted infestation used to be.

It ends with what a lot of people are calling a moral quandary, it's not really as rook is hard coded as good in their background, but yeah you get to choose to either free the mayor or leave him to die.

We return to the Veil Jumpers to report that the mystery neighbors have control of and are spreading the blight. Nostalgia then makes a cameo

We're nudged to return to the ritual site to find a mcguffin. At this point the skill tree is made available to me.

It creates the illusion of depth, lots of increase by 5% and all that crap, not much in the way if actual abilities and what little there are pretty underwhelming, and doesn't nothing more than scratch the enemy. I suspect this is largely due to me playing rogue. I felt all the promotional materials leading up to the game and the stylistic choices when it comes to abilities were encouraging to player to play a mage. The mage, from what I've seen, seems to have the most thought put into it as well. You get 3 mage party members in this game though so frick that.

We encounter more new darkspawn, look how they massacred my hurlock boi. At this point enemies become more spongey, particularly the Hurlocks that engage in spear chucking. The bow is this game low key kinda shit. It's like a shitty version of the Kingdoms of Amalur bow, particularly because Veilguard combat is largely dueling, like stellar blade, where as Kingdoms of Amalur is more action packed and the bow is meant to integrated into combos with other attacks, same can't be said for the Veilguard which results in one-sided sniper battles. The ranged units aren't any softer upclose either, and the game's parry system shits itselfif a ranged enemy is compelled to shoot you point blank.

After traversing the rest of the ruins we finally corner the ghoul who to Solas' mcguffin. This boss fight was kinda tedious, not a fan of bosses dipping out for a bit and summoning henchmen to distract you especially in multiple phases. After the first phase Harding pick up the mcguffin and turn into bullshit. I DID like how she girl bosses you out the way though.

This is when the game introduces the only other feature that companions are good for, combos.

This pretty much the extent of the combat usefulness of your party members, which is what I suspected would be the case when I saw the companions didn't have health bars in the gameplay reveal. I really hated this aspect about thw mass effect games, squadmates by and large just felt like dead weight compared to party members in other RPGs and you have even less control over your party in the Veilguard, and not only that their abilities are a on a global cooldown as well, so you're resigned to watching the spectacle of your party member leaping around launching impotent attacks dramatically while doing something actually worthwhile once every 60 seconds or so. Rook's abilities are fortunately not constrained in this manner, at least on the rogue.

So we beat the boss, retrieve the mcguffin get a scene with tge mystery neighbors, which I got to say, Ghilan'nain looks pretty cool. With the mcguffin in hand you now can use it to emulate any unlocked companions unique puzzle power, making them even more useless We return to the lighthouse and I decide to change my Rook's hair.

Have another conversation with Solas and then set off following leads on the mystery neighbors around Thedas this leads us to the crossroads

which is a sort of hub area between the various zones in the game. It has side content of its own, which are mostly flashbacks of Solas' rebellion against the gods

These are kinda shit, narratively, so far, they do really portray the world Solas described at the end of trespasser and as of now are only focusing on the two currently free mystery neighbors and not the rest pantheon. From the crossroads we can unlock Treviso and Dock Town for now.

Seems they didn't completely nerf the cake in this game The Qunari military has invaded Treviso for some reason. Antiva has now standing army, just the reputation of it's infamous assassin's guild, a reputation that's changed for the altruistic. This once pragmatic league of assassins have now take on responsibility of protecting the citizens from the qunari and disturbing le heckin' wholesome shelter and welfare.

The crows tell you of Lucanis one of their mage killers that's locked in a underwater prison. Like most underwater sections in my experience, this place kinda sucks, it's boring and tedious to navigate through (yes I'm aware it is a circle, but it's a lumpy disjointed circle. Lucanis doesn't preform any better as a melee character than the, thus far range party members I've been working with so far. The final boss of the area is the most bullet spongy enemy I fought so far and he's protected by a barrier which I'm apparently supposed to use my rubber band arrows against. After about 25 minutes of peppering this dude I finally beat him and get lucanis as a companion.

Next stopDock Town

I get Dock Town is a slum but it really doesn't live up to the hype of tevinter that the 2018 showed off with all the magical neon signs and such.

Here you help the shadow Dragons fighting off venatori and learn they can control the darkspawn courtesy of the mystery neighbors.

This mission ends in another mage boss fight, though thankfully not as bullet spongy, just henchman spamming. With these two missions complete the game opens up and let's you engage in side missions.

I decided to help out neve in Dock Town. This turned out to be another talkie hallway mission, and there's a pattern here, as all companion's first missions are like this.

Decide on ripping the bandaid off of the black character immediately, and went on the mission to recruit Davrin.

So far he's okay on his own, and I really like his interaction with shrimp fried rice, a good depiction of elves from the sane culture, but different clans and circumstances in life, for this game at least. I didn't realize however that recruiting Davrin would immediately railroad me into a major choice involving the fate of two major cities and the side quest with in them .

I spring for Neve's city and was confronted by the spongiest most bullshit boss fight thus far.

After finally chipping away at enough of this b-word's hp to trigger her retreat the gang heads back to Treviso to find it fricked up. Lucanis is surprisingly level headed about things, but leaves the party for a bit and is hardened. I'll pause her for now and hopefully pick up sometime later next week. So far the game suffers from the same slow start inquisition did, but doesn't have the mechanical depth or the filler to experience it in of that game. There are few plot hooks however the motivate me to keep on trudging along.

Welcome to the Republic of Chile

Greetings dramatards, as promised here starts or journey into what would become one of the most famous dictatorships of the Americas, the Chilean Military Junta. But before getting into the story of our infamous General and his Junta de Gobierno, first it's time to cover the basics of how Chile came to the point of democratic rupture. So let's start giving some context.

By the early 1960s Chile was a poor country. It wasn't the poorest in Latin America and while it fared better than most of the South American continent, the fact remained that it lagged far behind Argentina and Uruguay, the only countries which by that time counted with a large middle class. Chile was highly unequal and a significant portion of its population was still rural with peasants moving to the outskirts of Santiago forming what was known as "campamentos", basically shanty towns, favelas.

Chile's upper class what still composed by a few selective families from the colonial period (mostly of Basque origin) and rather new families of 19th century immigrant background (mostly from Britain, Germany, Croatia, etc) which also made up a big part of its small middle-class.

Despite all this, Chile was still a robust democracy. The constitution in effect at the time was the 1925 constitution which leads us to the Chilean government of the early 1960s.

The then President of Chile was Jorge Eduardo Alessandri Rodríguez.

Born in Santiago de Chile in 1896, he was the son of the late politician Arturo Alessandri Palma (1868-1950), who also served as President of the Republic between 1920 to 1925, and then again from 1932 to 1938.

Jorge Alessandri was elected President in the 1958 election. Under the 1925 Constitution the President of Chile was elected by a majority of 50%+ of the popular vote, if all candidates failed to achieve the 50% threshold, then Congress would elect the President, which is exactly what happened in 1958.

Alessandri was an independent, but he was supported by a coalition of right-wing parties

The results of the popular vote of the 1958 were:

Jorge Alessandri Rodríguez - 31.56%

Salvador Allende Gossens - 29.85%

Eduardo Frei Montalva - 20.70%

The resulting vote in Congress was Alessandri getting 147 votes and Allende getting 26. Salvador Allende was the candidate for the Socialist Party of Chile and a coalition of left-wing parties, while Eduardo Frei Montalva was a candidate for the PDC, (Partido Democráta Cristiano) or Christian Democratic Party which was a socially conservative but economically centrist political party.

Alessandri's style was what he nicknamed "gerencia" or "management", the point of which was to manage Chile as if it were a private company. By the early 1960s Chile was in dire need of reform, and the Valdivia Earthquake wasn't of help. After the earthquake Alessandri went to the US and got aid thanks to President John F. Kennedy and his "Alliance for Progress" program, which included 422 million dollars to help the damaged of Chile. The Chekhov earthquake also triggered the arrival of another important actor of this story later on…

The Alliance for Progress programs also promoted certain policies, among the most important of them, land reform. In 1962 which was also the year where Chile was host of the World Cup, Alessandri signed the first land reform bill which was rather modest on its reach. By the end of his term he felt like Chile needed deeper structural reforms if they were to develop as their agriculture was lagging behind, he also oversaw projects of public housing in urban areas. However Alessandri's disapproval increased while left-wing parties grew stronger.

The 1964 Presidential Election

By 1964 there was a growing fear of Allende being elected. The Conservative Coalition was unpopular and of the top of the recent Cuban Revolution, left-wing guerrilas began to sprang up in Chile, like the MIR (Movimiento Revolucionario de Izquierda). Due to this, the rightoid candidate of that year, Julio Durán, decided to withdraw from the race and support the based centrist Eduardo Frei Montalva.

Eduardo Nicanor Frei Montalva was born in Santiago in 1911. He was the son of a swiss immigrant, Eduardo Frei Schlinz, and a Chilean woman, Victoria Montalva Martínez. After getting support from Durán he unknowingly got another ally, the United States of America and the CIA

In order to help Frei Montalva's campaign, the CIA secretly funneled 2.6 million dollars to his campaign, along another 3 million dollars on anti-Allende political propaganda. This was done according without his knowledge lmao.

The final results of the 1964 election were:

Eduardo Frei Montalva - 56.09%

Salvador Allende Gossens - 38.93%

Julio Durán Neumann - 4.98%

Frei Motalva was sworn in as President of the Republic on November 3rd of that same year.

Back then the President of Chile lasted 6 years in office and couldn't be consecutively re-elected. This becomes important later on

Frei Montalva begin what he called "Revolution in Liberty", placing an emphasis in improving education (over 3,000 schools were built during his presidency), social housing (over 130k units) and unionization. Union membership in Chile rose from 270,000 in 1964 to 550,000 in 1970 (by the latter date Chile had a population of around 9.8 million inhabitants). Another achievement was the reduction of child mortality from 103 per 100k to 79 per 100k.

He nationalized electrical companies and electrical input in Chile increased 50% during his presidency. There was also a huge investment to develop the steel industry (steel production increased from 620,000 metric tons to over a million).

Finally we arrive at other strong points of his administration, land reform and the nationalization of copper. Frei Montalva signed his first land reform bill in 1966 (expropriating and distributing 3.5 million hectares) and proceeded with a process called "chilenización" or chilenization of copper.

Copper to this day Chile's most important and valuable export , back in the days the mines belonged to American multinationals. Frei Montalva created the "Corporación Nacional del Cobre" (CODELCO) and implemented a partial nationalization. The idea was to buy Chilean mines or to expropriate and indemnify multinationals to a point where the Chilean state would own 51% of the copper. Chilenization began in 1965 and the partial nationalization in 1969.

The year 1969 was the stage of a minor insurrection by the army against the government, due to poor equipment and salaries, showing some clashes the armed forced already had with the government along their dissatisfaction.

The 1970 Presidential Election

In the year 1965 the Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria (MIR) was founded, with the goal of overthrowing the government by means of armed struggle in order to install a communist regime. Salvador Allende however kept insisting on getting power through legitimate means. In 1970 his coalition was the Unidad Popular (Popular Union) or UP. It was composed by the Socialist Party, the Communist party and other minor leftoid parties of Chile

Salvador Guillermo Allende Gossens was born in Santiago in 1908, like most of the Chilean politicians, he belonged to an old money family with roots going back to the colonial era, the Allendes. He studied medicine at the University of Chile and was part of the founding of the Socialist Party of Chile in 1933

The rightoid candidate that year was good old Jorge Alessandri who by then was 74 years old and was suffering from some health issues. People mocked his ability to govern while Allende and co criticized Frei Montalva for not going far enough with his reforms (a.k.a. going full commie).

Alessandri was accused by leftoids of being senile and having early onset parkinson, meanwhile the PDC candidate was Radimiro Tomic , a centre-leftist who had an informal pact with Allende.

The campaign was a bitter one and the everyone was concerned about what would be the military's position if Allende was elected. On an interview with the rightoid newspaper "El Mercurio", the then commander of the Chilean Army, General René Schneider pointed out that that the army would stand and abide by the Constitution regardless of who the winner was.

The CIA didn't support any particular candidate against Allende that year, except for funneling 350,000 dollars to Alessandri's campaign. A CIA report informed that Cuba spent 350,000 dollars on Allende and after the end of the Cold War declassified documents from the KGB showed that the Soviet Union sent 400,000 dollars to Allende's campaign through the Cubans.

Finally, election day came on September 4th, 1970, and the results were:

Salvador Allende Gossens - 36.63%

Jorge Alessandri Rodríguez - 35.29%

Radomiro Tomic Romero - 28.08%

Chilean chuds got into panic mode . Technically Congress could elect anyone as President if they failed to break the 50% threshold, but in practice they would elect the candidate who got a plurality of votes.

Alarm bells also ringed at Washington DC, where President Richard Nixon ordered to stop it from happening. The CIA then devised two plans known as "track 1" and "track 2".

Track 1 consisted in making Congress elect Alessandri, who would then proceed to immediately resign. This would trigger a snap election where the current and rather popular president, Eduardo Frei Montalva, could run again and win. This plan however failed as the PDC supported Allende on the October 24th Congress voting. This was due to an informal gentleman's agreement between Allende and Tomic, whereby one would acknowledge the other's victory if the difference was above 5,000 votes, and would only acknowledge a potential Alessandri victory if the latter won by a difference of 100,000 votes.

After this failed, track two came into scene. Meanwhile the KGB had instructions to help Allende be sworn in. Track Two consisted of creating a climate of political instability as to allow the armed forced to intervene and stop Allende from becoming president. Henry Kissinger was personally involved in the main operation which consisted of kidnapping General Schneider, the commander of the Chilean army, as a trigger for intervention (a leftoid guerrila would be blamed). General Roberto Viaux was in charge of the operation, however it failed as Scheinder resisted and he was killed. His assassination however paved the way for a different leadership in the army.

Salvador Allende was sworn in as President of the Republic on November 3rd, 1970. His government plan was one of complete nationalization of copper, but without compensation, raising wages, freezing prices, and continue mass expropriation of land but with a more aggressive approach.

In order to pass his nationalizations, he based his decrees as being authorized by the short lives 1932 "Socialist Republic" (a bogus commie government which lasted for a few months). Nationalization of copper however was passed by congress with unanimity as it was a process which was bound to happen.

The US responded with a boicot and denial of credits for Chile, however Allende managed to get gibs from the Soviet Union.

According to former KGB General Nikolai Leonov, the USSR provided financial aid in the form of 100 million dollars of credit, 3 fishing boats, new factories, 3,100 tractors and 74,000 tons of wheat.

By 1971 deficit skyrocketed from 3.5% to 9.8% and by 1972 inflation kicked in as the government began activated the money printing machine a year earlier. Then came scarcity of goods and the rise of the black market along rationing.

The increase of money circulation was of 173% in 1972 and 413% by 1973, and with it also an economic recession. Allende blamed it on hoarders. Meanwhile guerrilla groups like MIR which by then felt empowered by government and had amassed almost 100k members were pushing land reform by themselves, with the government doing little to nothing to stop them. MIR took over factories and land properties while the government refused to send the carabineros (police force). Polarization and political violence characterized his 3 years as President. Allende tried to get the USSR to invest 400 million dollars on Chile through factories and infrastructure. However by late 1972 the Soviets denied Chile any further aid requests

Hello, I've got 2 hours before work is done, and I'm too lazy to do anything productive so I'll write this quick post discussing the Indian Question in South Africa. It makes me sad that I even have to write this post because I love all races and I want to live in a multicultural rainbow nation. Unfortunatey, there are some people who are more concerned about tribal in-group bias than unity.

Indians in South Africa

As you can imagine, Indians are not native to South Africa. Yet the country has an Indian population of close to 1.7 million. Furthermore, the South African city of Durban is one of the largest ethnically Indian-populated cities outside of India.

Indians first arrived in South Africa in 1860, during the country's colonial era. The first lot of Indians (approximately 342 of them) were brought in on a ship called the Truro, and the intention was to use the Indians as indentured workers on sugr plantations in the province of KwaZulu-Natal. Indians were originally taken from Calcutta and Madras, but eventually labour was taken from other areas of India as well. Colonial workers generally didn't give a shit about keeping proper records. Consequently, many Indian last names in South Africa are corruptions of their proper Indian last names.

Under Apartheid, Indians were subordinated, though they enjoyed better treatment than the Blacks did. Due to forced removals, Indians were forced into their own ghettoes. It is during this time that Indians started gaining the reputation of being "Jew-ish". Much like Jewish populations, they formed insular communities, small businesses, and they stopped relying on the government for services, instead building their own schools and temples. To this day, Indian-built schools produce some of the best students in the country. Consequently, a lot of wealth accumulated within Indian communities, which naturally attracted jealousy.

Anti-Indian Racism in South Africa

Anti-Indian discrimination was certainly present during Apartheid, and it was not uncommon for Indians to be referred to using the racist term "coolie". Blacks were also racist towards Indians, and this is seen through the Durban riots of 1949 in which South Africans took to the streets to loot Indian businesses, stone Indian vehicles, and break into homes. The riots, which lasted for days, were extremely violent and involved acts of assault, r*pe, and murder. In total, 142 Indians were killed, and there were several suicides following the riots due to families being destroyed. This marks the second-deadliest massacre during Apartheid.

Naturally, one would question why the massacre happened. It's generally theorized that there was already animosity between the Indian and Black populations in Durban, and this peaked on January 13 when Harilal Basanth, a 40-year-old Indian shop-owner, smashed 14-year-old George Madondo's head into a shop window.

Do not see Indians as eternal victims, however. It's also important to note that violence during the riots wasn't one-sided and several Zulus were assaulted by Indians. Furthermore, they created the racist term "bululu" to refer to Black people. There's a new term for chuds who want to fine-tune their racism.

The EFF and the Indian Question

Post-Apartheid, South Africa has dealt with problems of racism, but for the most part, ordinary South Africans get on with life in a multicultural society in a mostly peaceful manner. Problems arose in 2018 when the South African communist party called the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) raised the Indian Question. The EFF is led by Julius Malema, who many have foolishly been led to believe is South Africa's president. No! He was the head of the ANC's Youth League (the ANC is the African National Congress which is South Africa's ruling party since democracy was instated in 1994). During his time in the Youth League he showed himself to be a hothead not afraid to speak his mind. Here he is telling a mayo BBC to frick off with his "white tendencies".

He proved too much of a hothead to be controlled by the ANC, and he eventually formed his own party, the EFF. In the 2024 elections, they earned 10.80% of the votes. In 2018, he declared that the majority of Indians are racist.

This was met with pushback from the media and the Indian population who declared that Malema is being racist. As it usually does, the party did not back down and instead released a long statement addressing the "Indian question".

The Chairperson also released an explosive article defending Malema's comments on Indian people. Some choice quotes:

It is a historical fact that Indians arrived in the political territory we call South Africa today as indentured labourers from 1860 onwards. This automatically disqualifies them as indigenous South Africans in the same way whites, who had arrived earlier than the indentured labourers are not indigenous Africans.

Indians were brought to South Africa during the indigenous Africans Wars of resistance, and there is no record that they fought on the side of Africans. On the contrary, prominent Indian leaders like Mahatma Gandhi recognised and worshipped the colonial empire and spread ideological and political gibberish that "whites and Indians were bonded by an Aryan bloodline that had no place for the African" as empirically proved in the book The South African Gandhi: Stretcher-Bearer of Empire by Desai & Vahed, 2015. The intellectual honesty that defined these two authors while writing about Gandhi's racism escaped one of them in the immediate aftermath of calling out the Momoniat racism.

Even though Indians and whites make up the smallest sections of the population, combined they own and control more land, deciding on the racial and apartheid spatial planning. It is one thing to expose and reflect on already existing racial divisions, and it is another to divide a country that is already racially divided. All the EFF has done since its formation in 2013 is to expose these societal contradictions. It is not possible to further divide such a deeply divided country, but we can only move towards eradicating such inequality by honest and frank engagements.

There are many instances of reported anti-African racism from the Indian community in the stores, workplaces, homes, schools, which do not get reported on. Those who are recipients of Indian racism are often of subjugate economic standing and as stated in the perspective here, economic subjugation of the African majority is the root cause of anti-African racism from both white and Indian communities.

Conclusion

Unfortunately, racial relations between Blacks and Indians have not improved and in 2021, there were more riots that resulted in 20 deaths. Clashes between Blacks and Indians took place in the suburb of Phoenix.

Greetings. I hope you are well. I've been doing a lot of research on fascism lately and I've been left utterly terrified. I can see the power the political ideology has thanks to its reliance on a palingenetic rebirth myth that is very effective at uniting people and bringing them under a charismatic strong man. This shouldn't be surprising, as human beings think in terms of stories, so if you're able to tell a good story and piece together archetypes in aesthetically pleasing ways, you can make billions or rule a nation.

The problem with fascism is that it brings with it war, violence, and the death of human rights. If fascism were to take root again in the West, it could lead to another World War and this would affect everyone. I don't want mass death, nor do I want to be conscripted into the military. I'm scared of what will happen to BIPOCs, LGBT folks, and immigrants in such a scenario. The third world isn't safe either, there are dictatorships in Africa with strong militaries and these nations are teetering close to fascism, including countries like Eritrea. The Second Congo War is just a taste of how deadly things can get, as this war led to over 5.4 million deaths within 4 years, the deadliest war since WW2.

South Africa isn't exempt from the threat of fascism and there have been very active fascist parties in the country. This makes me so, so scared because I don't want civil war. Our government has enough problems to deal with. Consequently, I believe that this is the most important longpost I have ever written. Within it, I'd like to outline what fascism is and how it took root in South Africa and almost collapsed democracy before it started.

This is the first part of a two-part series. In this post we'll look into the background of the Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging and in the next post we'll delve into the life and death of Eugene Terre'Blanche.

What is Fascism?

I have outlined a brief definition of fascism in a previous post, but I'd like to redefine it here in a little more detail. The first instance of fascism can be found in 20th-century Italy under the regime of Benito Mussolini. Benito was inspired by the works of Nietzsche and Georges Sorel. The movement arose while Itality was going through political and economic hardships. Mussolini, after returning from war, believed Italy needed a dictator to lead the nation to greatness. To do this, he would need a myth to unify the people.

He coined the term Fascist which he derived from the Latin term "Fasces" which refers to a bundle of wood. Individually, each piece of wood can be broken with ease. However, when they are bundled together, they become unbreakable.

Pictured above is the Italian fascist symbol used by Italian fascist uniforms. Mussolini rose to power in Italy thanks to his energetic speeches and his ability to tune into the anxieties of the masses and exploit them. For the sake of time, I won't go deep into the history of Mussolini's rise to power, but it is important to know that by 1925, he was the country's dictator and he enjoyed widespread support.

Fascism was exported to Italy's colonies, including Eritrea, which may explain the far-right, dictatorial bend the country has to this day (it is often termed the North Korea of Africa). It also spread through Europe, eventually reaching Germany where Adolf Hitler would establish a dictatorship of his own. When fascism is mentioned, Nazi Germany is usually what comes to mind first. This shouldn't be a shock, as the Third Reich is easily the most powerful fascistic State the world has ever seen. If we are lucky, fascists will NEVER acquire that much power ever again.

Hitler was directly inspired by Mussolini, though he also drew from philosophers like Nietzsche and scientists like Charles Darwin to advocate for social Darwinism and eugenics. Hitler was also strongly anti-semitic, a position which Mussolini would also adopt in Italy. With this said, hatred of Jewish people isn't the defining characteristic of fascism. In fact, as Israel is proving, it is possible to have a fascistic State that isn't anti-semitic at all. This raises an important question - what makes a fascist?

How to Identify Fascism

Defining fascism is no easy task, and it is among the hardest political ideologies to adequately categorize. We know it is right-wing, authoritarian, and ultra-nationalistic, but other political movements have these traits as well. Saudi Arabia would be a good example of a country that is right-wing, authoritarian, and ultra-nationalistic but not quite fascist. After doing some research, I've identified the following as the key traits of fascism. If you think I've left anything out or gotten anything wrong, I'd like to hear it. It is important to note that while a nation can exhibit some of these traits and not be a fascist nation, but when they occur altogether, the word fascism starts becoming more appropriate to use.

1. Support of political violence

Unlike liberal movements that were gaining popularity in the 20th century, fascists do not believe that violence is inherently bad and it is viewed as a healthy part of political life. This viewpoint is in part inspired by ideas of social Darwinism which championed the concept of the "survival of the fittest". Hence, it was only right that the strong should subjugate the weak. Violence is also the means by which social hierarchies are reified. I'll touch on it more in the next point, but violence is also an integral part of fascist masculinity. Violence is used to eliminate opposition, undermine democracy, force people into compliance, and expand the borders of the nation.

2. Support of strict gender roles and social hierarchies

As I've stated, fascists believe in social hierarchies, and that some people are more deserving of life and power than others. In Nazi Germany, this viewpoint led to the mass involuntary euthanasia of huge swaths of the population that were disabled either mentally or physically. The most appalling example of this can be found with Germany's Aktion T4 program that claimed up to 300,000 lives.

There are also strict gender hierarchies in fascist nations. Fascism generally takes on a patriarchal shape with a "strong man" leading the nation. Women are expected to remain subservient and to serve a reproductive and domestic role in society. In contrast, men are expected to take to the frontlines of the army and participate in violence and war for the sake of the greatness of the nation. For this reason, you'd be hard-pressed to name a female fascist leader.

3. Belief in a palingenetic rebirth myth

This is perhaps the most important aspect of fascism. The fascist leader will convince the people that they were once a great nation but they have been subverted by outside forces i.e. Jews, communists, immigrants, liberals, etc. The populist fascist leader claims that they are the only ones who can restore the greatness of the nation and rescue the people from economic and political hardships, as well as from the threat of decadence and degeneracy. The palingenetic rebirth myth is reliant on a scapegoat to blame for the nation's decline and to give the people a common enemy to unite against.

4. Opposition to any initiatives or institutions that are racially, ethnically, or religiously diverse

The fascist leader will often create an "us" vs "them" schism. Those in the in-group are the true inhabitants of the nation while those in the out-group are invaders that dilute the blood of the land. One of the slogans used by Nazi Germany is "blood and soil" which illustrates how the regime tied race and nationality together.

Don't be fooled, however - a fascist nation does not need to be racist. The founder of fascism, Mussolini, stated the following:

Race? It is a feeling, not a reality. Ninety-five percent, at least. Nothing will ever make me believe that biologically pure races can be shown to exist today.

However, he did also create an "us" vs "them" schism by scapegoating communists and Jewish people.

So there you have it - four pillars of fascism. If all four are present in a political system, you may be dealing with a fascist nation. I'd like to discuss a fifth possible pillar - isolationism. It appears that a lot of fascist nations aim for an autarkic economy and espouse ideas of isolationism and strong borders. The reason why I do not add this as a pillar of fascism is because scholars generally agree that there is no economic system that is essential to fascism. A sixth possible pillar concerns the use of lies and irrationality. This is seen with both Mussolini and Hitler but I hesitate to add it as an essential element of fascism because quite frankly all politicians lie - it's just a matter of degrees.

The nature of fascism is that it strives to gain power. Consequently, it manifests in varied ways depending on the context. This can make it hard to determine when a nation is fascistic. This has become increasingly true in the modern world where wannabee dictators are aware of the stink of fascism and therefore cloak their ideology using more palatable terms such as "nationalism" and preach about the restoration of "law and order". This isn't always the case, especially with the group we're going to look at today - the Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging, also known as the AWB.

Apartheid in South Africa

I'm sure the topic needs no introduction, but I'll quickly define apartheid. It was a system implemented in South Africa from 1948 to 1991, and it was led by the National Party, which was an Afrikaner ethnic nationalist party.

Pictured above is the National Party flag and the apartheid South African flag. In short, apartheid is a system predicated on institutionalized racial segregation, and it favoured the White minority. Segregation was achieved through forced removals and the creation of townships for Blacks, which had the secondary effect of creating a cheap source of labour. The government also used pass laws that required black South African citizens to carry passes when travelling outside their homelands. This was enforced by Acts such as the Natives (Urban Areas) Act of 1923 and the Black (Natives) Laws Amendment Act of 1952 that deemed urban areas "white". If 'non-whites' were found travelling in urban areas without passes, they faced the possibility of arrest. As you can imagine, interracial marriage was also banned.

The "heyday" of apartheid occurred during the 1960s and 1970s, but the National Party soon began facing strong resistance from the ANC and condemnation from the international community. Consequently, in the 1980s, some of the petty laws of apartheid were repealed, including the law banning interracial s*x and marriage (the Race Relations Act) and the mixing of the races (Group Areas Act). The government also provided limited political rights to Indians and Coloureds, though it wouldn't be until 1994 that South Africa would have its first democratic elections which were won by the ANC, allowing Nelson Mandela to rule the nation.

So, was apartheid South Africa fascist? No. Importantly, the movement lacks a palingenetic rebirth myth. Nevertheless, there were fascist movements bubbling in the country, with the most popular easily being the AWB.

The Birth of the AWB

As apartheid laws were slowly repealed, some liberal White South Africans saw this as progress. However, there were huge swaths of the White population that did not agree with the increasing liberal influences on the country's politics.

One individual who opposed the direction the country was going in was Eugene Terre'Blanche. We won't go too deep into his history (there will be a separate post dedicated to him), but all you need to know for now is that Eugene was born in 1941 and he expressed Christian Afrikaaner nationalist sentiments from a very young age. In 1973, he called a meeting with several men where he complained of the increasing liberal influence in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister B. J. Vorster. He also feared the increasing influence of communism, and as a response, he formed the AWB, with him as the leader.

The AWB is an extremist far-right party that strives to create an independent Afrikaaner state (Boerestaat) separate from the rest of the country. Is the AWB fascistic? Yes! The group is openly fascist, and is strongly influenced by Nazi Germany. Consequently, the group is anti-semitic, and it uses a flag featuring a "triskelion" which is a three-armed swastika.

It also exhibits all four of my pillars of fascism:

1. Support of political violence

The group has used significant violence since its conception, and it remains committed to using violence to bring about the Boerstaat. It is responsible for many terroristic attacks during apartheid, especially in the 80s and 90s. Notable episodes of violence include:

• The Battle of Ventersdorp in 1991 which saw the AWB go head to head with the South African Police Force, and resulted in three deaths

• The Storming of the Kempton Park World Trade Centre in 1993 which involved 3000 members of the group storming the World Trade Center in Kempton Park

• 1994 bombings which resulted in the death of 20 people

The violence did not stop after apartheid ended. In 1996, the group planted a bomb in a grocery store, killing four civilians. Eugene Terre'Blanche also served time in prison for beating a petrol station attendant until he had brain damage (more on that in the next post).

The AWB is violent and aggressive. You can see it in this Louis Theroux clip featuring the documentarian speaking with Eugene who gets annoyed with Louis and squeezes his hand.

2. Support of strict gender roles and social hierarchies

The AWB uses Christianity to justify its gender roles and social hierarchy. They are insistent that the Bible says that Blacks and Whites must live separately, and they wish to bring about a patriarchal, pastoral Boer society.

3. Belief in a palingenetic rebirth myth

This runs strong in the ideology of the AWB. Their fall from grace comes with the Second Boer War which brought about the end of the Boer republics of South Africa. The party promises to restore these republics and bring about the great Boer empire once more.

4. Opposition to any initiatives or institutions that are racially, ethnically, or religiously diverse

It goes without saying that the AWB strikes for a homogenous society. They do not want Blacks, Jews, or communists in their Boer republics. They scapegoat the ANC, immigrants, and Black people as their enemies.

Unfortunately, the AWB had a huge following and at its peak, it boasted a membership of close to half a million. It also caught the attention of the international world, including Nazi sympathisers. Consequently, the group is quite prominent in right-wing literature, especially alternate history fiction novels such as Gun of the South. I've read the book and I quite like it. This is my favorite quotes from the text:

The AWB in Modern Day

Since South Africa became a democratic republic, the AWB has only shrunk in size, but its supporters remain passionate. One of the topics they rally around is the issue of farm killings, which they frame as a white genocide. They will often protest by shutting down highways and waving Old South African flags as well as the Nazi triskelion flag.

The group is still concerned with creating a Boerstaat, and they have their eyes on the Transvaal and the Free State but they haven't had much success claiming land. In one video worth watching, a member of the AWB tries arguing his case on television, and he threatens the Black female, leading to an altercation between him and the male host who warns him not to touch him on his studio.

Perhaps the biggest blow the group has experienced occurred in 2010 when he was killed by two of his own Black farm workers! He was beaten to death with pangas (machetes) and pipes. The murderers claimed that Eugene was buckbreaking them, though no evidence of sodomy was found.

Today, the group has about 5000 members and it is a shell of its former self with no political teeth at all. So is there any reason to fear the AWB?

Does the AWB still pose a threat?

YES! The AWB is actively recruiting the youth and trying to grow its numbers. It is doing this through the use of social media to spread its message. Several scholars are warning about the rise of fascism in South Africa and it's terrifying me! I'm so scared of fascism, I feel I have to do everything in my power to stop it. Unfortunately, all I can do is longpost. If they win, the races will be separated, then I'll NEVER have a white gf.

The Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging (Afrikaner Resistance Movement), founded in 1973 by noted white supremacist Eugène Terre'Blanche, also remains active today. The group apparently boasts around 5,000 members, and in 2010, members of the group were arrested for plans to attack Black townships in the wake of the murder of Terre'Blanche—which some claimed was racially motivated. The plotters, based in Pretoria, had also threatened foreigners and players traveling to the country for the 2010 World Cup. And in 2002, a far-right group calling itself the "Warriors of the Boer Nation" claimed responsibility for a series of blasts targeting the township of Soweto, in which one woman was killed.

Last week at the 24th Socialist International (SI) congress in Cape Town, a similar warning about the threat of fascism was issued. However, this referred to a global danger. And this week, as the local mining industry faced turmoil, National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) spokesman Lesiba Seshoka also raised the spectre of fascism.

My father and other lunatics near his farm has had the bright idea to start a hobby farming into cattle

For the past 4 months they've been building a dipping kraal, or a medicine application bead/holding, which is just basically a pre-built fence or passage where cattle/cows/goats/bucks or any other form of domesticated bovines are herded through, preferably one-by-one to apply veterinary care,

like spraying their fur with anti-lice or anti-parasite poison, or injecting them with vaccinations or whatever the particular situation requires.

This dipping passage system, can be technologically sophisticated

or locally rurally primitive - as has been done 100 years ago

all looks very complicated, but what it boils down to is to aid in the driving on of domesticated animals, without hurting cattle or ranchers themselves, while also leaving easy access to the animals for medication care. There is no definitive surefire method or structure, they are as variable as there are farmers and stock.

which again can vary dramatically, from humble specialized trailers, capable of being pulled by any pick-up truck with sufficient power, to gargantuan commercial grade trucks capable of transporting a 100 bastards at once

Anyways, the nutjobs near my father's farm had started to construct a homemade dipping kraal/passage, by using manual labour and a generator bolted onto an shopping trolley's wheels! (this was from a month ago)

The dipping enclosure were to have wooden beams with giant rubber strip lengths surrounding the enclosure, to protect the cattle from harming themselves when they bump into the wooden beams, a the soft rubber softens the blow like the softened corners of a wrestling ring.

These giant rubber strips were pulled tight around the wooden beams with a specialized fence-wire pulling tool, which utilized leverage onto chains with a clamped with each segment

This "Draadtrekker" or "Wire-Puller" has this teethed mechanism, to consecutively "climb" onto a chain, to pull a wire clamped onto it's tail end, and uses leverage to strengthen the pull onto each consecutive chain link. It's operation is very hard to describe into words. But it basically "climbs" onto the chain, with the teeth hooks.

The idea is to pull a wire or other material as taut as possible, to strengthen the wire's structure, usually for farm fences.

Saturday and Yesterday, my father had discovered that the 6 beeste had severe eye infections, to the degree that they were borderline blind. Their eyes were swollen and inflamed, and the cause uncertain - as they are supposed to be the type of local Safrican breed hardened against this climate and its parasites and illnesses. Regardless the cattle were really rough looking

TTheir eyes so swollen that they could barely see more than a few meters ahead of themselves.

One cow which was so angsty and evasive, literally ran away from my father in panic as it could not recognize my father - mistaking him from some other predator or whatever, despite usually running at speed whenever my father appears in the veld towards him, because my parents regularly feed them lettuce and carrots to make them used to humanity

This brought alarms to everyone, and soon he had called me from across the farm with dogshit 3rd world cellphone signal - i only noticed a "missed-call" in my SMS, and realized my father's intention. I had to run in 33 degree heat and gather the two Lesotho laborers currently building the unfinished kraal, because the 6th cow was being so evasive, that it would require a multi-man concerted effort, to corral this beest into the dipping passage, in order to closely inspect wtf was wrong with it.

after lots of sweating we managed to not just gather the blind-beest, but also the other 5 beeste, into the unfinished, but luckily fully enclosed kraal, i had to run like hooligan and ram pipes into the exit of the dipping passage , to block off the exit, and ensure the 6 cattle corralled into the dipping passage, would not just exit like water from a funnel so tired.

Then once they were within the kraal, structure we could clearly see at point blank, just how fricked up their eyes were. All 6 had problems, 3 of them had tears running down the sides of their faces endlesslly - it appeared that they had great aggravated suffering.

To compound this horror and bad luck, my father had enlisted the services of a farm animal vet, but he had decline to doctor them for eye and other parasite related shit, because he had stated that it was useless to apply medicine before symptoms showed well now 2 weeks later we were all staring at blind 6 cattle with dark black tear streaks in obvious suffering.

We were all tired from the corralling efforts in a humid crushing 33 degree heat (which is nothing i know compared to the 40 degree heat in actually hot places in the country), so we decided to start lunch while my father made a decision.

We made boiled eggs and noodles, and my mother shared the same for the 2 Lesotho men (many SA employers can be ruthless and let men work without break in the sun, nor ever give them food)

After lunch my father had decided, we cannot wait even a week for a vet to come again, and that likely if these cattle were not treated, they could form permanent cataract-like debilitating ailments, or just become blind. He still had eye-treating medicine stored in his shed. And OH BOY did i not yet realize what we were in for!!

The next stage was to corral the 6 cattle from the outer kraal, into the dipping funnel passage, and to our woes, the structure was not yet finished, additionally the 6 cattle were spooky and uncooperative and we found it impossible to fricking separate them, thus we were only capable of herding all 6 into the funnel passage at once, so that they were squashed tightly.

This was not done for the sake of animal abuse, but because it was decided if we did not treat these animals here and now, blindness would follow - and we were without all the cowtools we needed, the passage was unfinished and we had not fricking vet with us.

Ironically, the fact that the cattle had squashed themselves so tightly, meant that they could not bump their heads in erratic spontaneous movements and hurt themselves.

We were supposed to have a headclamp ordered, but it was still a city away and had not yet been delivered, but this was an emergency, and again we could not fricking wait

Thus we had to also make to with the only pitiful rope we had - which the Lesotho men tied around the nearest wooden beam, and then the horns/mouth of the specific cattle we wanted to treat, in order to keep their heads still and unmoving - and once again this was not done for the sake of animal cruelty

Cattle/cows are unbelievably strong. You often see videos of city-slickers and people who've never encountered wild animals or even domesticated farm animals before and tourists dangerously approach large animals into their comfort-zone, only to get mauled/hooved and their body battered.

Just one random jerk of an unaggressive cow's head can gore the arm of a reckless man.

The 6 cattle were stuffed and jampacked into the funnel dipping passage, and thus we placed two pipes at the entrace to the passage to block them in! i had to literally push the last cow in with all the force of my strength along with the two Lesotho men, while a 3rd pushed in pipes between the wooden beams to lock them inside!!!

From here on out we had to apply two types of medicine (which i cant spell or pronounce): One was a bottle of teardrop type medicine which was applied by lifting up the lids of the target cattle, and squeezing it onto the area of irritation/inflammation. The 2nd was an injection via needle which, as per the instruction of the vet, had to be injected into the eyelids of the cow!!!! But a cow's eyelids are very thick and filled with blood-vessels, and much larger when compared to a human's

As you guys can imagine, no animal likes to have their fricking eyeballs messed with and manipulated, especially after they are hurting and highly irritated by whatever infected it, like a human's red-eye.

This was why we had been forced to stabilize the cattle's head, by tying it up, lest it hurt itself or us, in it's panic or pain.

It's a sad morning. I can't think of anything but the numerous rejections I've faced throughout my life. Women don't find me attractive, they've told me this in uncertain terms, and I don't know why it's taken me almost 30 years to finally get the message. In this post I'll share all the rejection I remember.

2006

My first rejection was a relatively mild one. It occurred when I was in 5th grade and I thought this girl in my class was cute. She was a Black girl and she had dated a friend of mine. I bought her chocolate and she rejected it completely and would not take it from me. After that it was awkward for the rest of year because we were in the same class and she knew I had a crush on her.

2007

In the 6th grade I had a crush on another Black girl in my class. I sat next to her, and she was a somewhat bigger girl. During camp, I admitted to my friends that I had feelings for her and they told her. She made it clear that the feelings weren't reciprocal. More awkwardness ensued as I had to sit next to her for the rest of the year.

2008

In the 7th grade the girls in my class made a "Hot or Not" list. Predictably, I was on the "Not" side. The list was passed around in class so my shame could be publicized. Right here, at age 13, when an entire room of girls could unanimously agree that I'm ugly, this should have been the moment when I accept that no women would ever find me attractive. Unfortunately, I had far too much hope.

2010

In the ninth grade, I dealt with my first major rejection. I had a crush on a girl in my class. She was Indian, and she was a good friend of mine. We'd hang around together a lot and she was nice to me. I wanted to do something nice for her when I asked her out so I learned HTML and I made a website dedicated to her. I brought my PSP to school and I showed her the website which ended with me asking her out. She rejected me and it was so painful it plunged me into depression. I had never felt heartbreak like that ever.

This wouldn't be the only rejection I suffered in 2010. I was part of a cohort that had an academic scholarship, and we were taken on a camp together with students from other schools who were part of the same scholarship. At night, the girls came to our dorm and fetched some of us because they wanted to play spin the bottle. What ensued is an evening of crippling shame. Every time the bottle landed on me, the girls would look upon me with abject disgust when they realised they had to kiss me. It became a running joke that I was the ugly, unwanted creature there giving women the ick. It was made abundantly clear to me that in no way did any of the women present find me remotely attractive and in fact they were positively repulsed by me. I will never forget this night. Brutal humiliation in front of my peers.

2011

I finally got a gf! She was a short, Black girl that seemed affectionately enough. However, she was cheating on me, she ignored me, and she constantly asked me for money. I knew she was cheating on me but I turned a blind eye because I finally had a gf, but it hurt me immensely and I couldn't take it anymore. I broke up with her in 2013.

There was a girl, Black, who approached me and wanted me to help her with Physics since I was good at it and she wasn't. She started coming to my Physics afterschool tutorials with me, and because she was a poorcel, I paid for her lessons. I eventually developed feelings for her and I wrote her a love letter. She turned me down. It was emotionally brutal.

In university, the girls in the cafeteria would make fun of me and call me a 14-year-old because I was short. I eventually stopped going and just ate food in my room in my third year until I moved out into my own place. Even the warden of my residence called me the "short one".

2016

This is the year I tried online dating. Got no matches on any of the apps. I chatted to one girl on Fetlife but when she saw my picture she started bullying me. This was also the year I gave up and started identifying as an asexual. I wove my past into a story of "compulsory heterosexuality" forged from ideas by feminist scholars such as Adrianne Rich. "I never wanted to date girls, I had simply been socialized that way!" The cope helped to alleviate the pain but as you all know, the delusion didn't last forever and I eventually gave up the asexual label and accepted that I was an incel, but that would take years.

This rejection affected me immensely, and I fell into dangerous self-harm. I even ended up spending time in the psych ward in part because of the heartbreak. I couldn't handle it.

These are just some of the more notable rejections I have suffered. I've felt hate from teachers, police, and random looks of disgust in public. I've had babies in public comment on how dark I am, and people are shocked I'm old enough to drive. I'm stuck in forever childhood. I am a beast, a cretin, I am Frankenstein's monster. I was born at the bottom of the totem pole in terms of race, and I have been cursed to look up at everybody for my whole life. Do you know how brutal it is to have everybody looking down on you? My life as a five foot one blackcel has been a string of bad memories and rejections, and the truth is that it's fricking awful. Moving through society is hard as a five foot one black male. The strength it takes to go outside... sometimes I don't have it.

When normies are rejected, it's usually for something that they can improve upon. "I don't like shy guys", "we're not into the same things", "I like buff guys". When incels are rejected, they are usually experiencing genuine forms of prejudice and discrimination. We are shunned because of things we cannot change - we're short, or ugly, or dark-skinned, or the wrong race.

If you failed because of those factors in any other endeavor in life, and you expressed pain and trauma, you would be completely heard and sympathized with. e.g. if you lose a job because you're too shy, well that's a geniune reason to not hire someone. If you lose a job because you're ugly, EVERYONE would understand why you're hurt and traumatized by that. Yet, for some reason, people pretend to be oblivious to the source of our pain when we explain that we're being rejected and discriminated against because of ugliness, height, and other factors we cannot change.

If you were black and you couldn't get a job no matter how much you studied, the horror of your life would be obvious to all. If you're short, and you can't get a gf no matter what you achieve in your life, there is seemingly no reason for you to be upset, according to normies.

This is the reason why I will NEVER act on my feelings for women EVER AGAIN. If you've ever been redpilled you must have heard some variation of this advice: "Rejection is nothing bro! I challenge you to get rejected by 100 girls! The more rejection you experience the easier it gets!" It's not true. Rejections beat you down more. They crush what little self-esteem you have left. Nothing good comes from rejection. It is good to avoid rejection, it is an act of self preservation.

I'd like ONE (1) single biological woman here admit that they would date a 5'1 male. Be HONEST. It's OVER and we all know it. If you're about to turn 30 and you've experienced nothing but rejection your whole life, it is highly unlikely that fate will suddenly change on my 30th birthday and I'll suddenly become a Chad. The biggest predictor of the future is past patterns, and women have made it clear that they don't want me. I accept that, I hope to accept it as maturely as possible. I don't hate women, I don't think they're bad, and I don't blame them for not being attracted to me. However, I can't deny that it hurts like heck.

As you should be able to see, I started my post with a variant of the "Did Vaush just BTFO" copypasta (!soyteens you should recognize this), which was changed to be about Byron Hall, the creator of the infamous rpg FATAL, responding to a very critical review of his game. Byron's response did not disprove every claim in the review, but for the purposes of bait, I pretended that it did. Here is the copypasta I created:

As you can see, this copypasta should be immediately recognizable as bait since it omits important information that was stated during the review, is a modified form of an already existing copypasta, indirectly defends one of the worst RPGs without directly praising any mechanics less generic than dice rolling, arguably lies about every claim being disproven, has intentional errors and, most importantly for both this copypasta which I created, and the original "Did X just BTFO" copypasta, It lists valid arguments in the inb4 section to prevent people from using said valid arguments. The copypasta also has 2 intentional errors which only users who care a lot about detail would notice, which are that I said "just BTFO" to preserve the original copypasta's title even though the rebuttal was made decades ago, and that I said ">inb4 someone links to 1d4chan" even though 1d6chan exists and 1d4chan is down, since many 4chan olds dislike 1d6chan removing content that violated miraheze's TOS, however in hindsight it would likely have been a better idea to reference 1d6chan for additional possible replies.

I did try to interact with the thread to keep up the pretense of my bait, however this was unsuccessful. First, when another user (https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/94402739/#q94403095) said that the game can't calculate swing force, I immediately remembered that one of the only non-horrible combat mechanics was fulcrum range, which actually does calculate swing force, and replied stating the page number on the online pdf of the rules I had used a search function to find fulcrum range in. Unfortunately, the user I responded to was using a different pdf of the rulebook, and did not find fulcrum range on that page. Secondly, I tried to reply to a user stating that everyone who has played FATAL has hated it by linking to a Kiwifarms letsplay of the game, which I found from this post: https://rdrama.net/h/traditionalgames/post/315746/fatal-and-kiwifarms-a-match-made, but I was banned from all of 4chan for 13 days since my post contained banned text (likely the kiwifarms link). This prevented me from correcting the error made by the user who could not find fulcrum range

The rest of the thread is relatively boring, but some users seem to be unironically defending FATAL as a response to users who responded to my bait, and one user, or potentially a collection of users, began rolling up a character just to prove how bad the character creation system is.

The thread theme, often described as sounding like "Cookie Monster chasing a drum set down a stairwell" is the greatest thing to come from the worst role-playing game ever.

Here is my current physique. I took these photos last night.

I am around 200 pounds now. The current routine I'm running is the Candito 6 week that I have modified slightly because I don't really need rest days, so I add a day in to focus on weakpoints. I do BJJ and Muay Thai for cardio. I do not track calories, I pretty much eat whatever I want which is why I am around 15 percent bodyfat. Once I fill everything out a bit more I will cut and go for ~12 percent bodyfat. Currently I am probably around 15 percent. I have decided to take a picture of my physique at the end of every 6 week cycle.

Personally I am not happy with where I'm at. My lower body in particular sticks out as being particularly awful (even though I am wearing the worst kind of shorts for a leg picture) as I have been taking it easy on my legs ever since I hurt my back going for a 505 pound deadlift. To remedy this I will start adding leg exercises to my "weakpoint days" as long as I don't have a full leg day the next day. I will also switch all my leg accessories to the 8-12 rep range and go to failure while keeping my squat and deadlift strength focused.

What I am happy with are the changes that have taken place in my life because of my pursuit of vanity. The increase in testosterone has given me the drive to get out of my parents houses and move across the country for a job (that my father's friend got me) after rotting for years. I have also been slept with five different women since August after a near 1.5 year dry spell, I've been experimenting with dating apps for the first time since I was in college. and it feels like I don't even have to try anymore. I have had success from simply posting a shirtless photo, or inviting them out to go "ghost hunting" with me.

I think a large part of my success is I moved into a much more populated location. I'm getting so many matches with just a lazy car selfie. I have also noticed that there are way less fat women here. I'm really happy with my move.

Now you are probably wondering if I am just posting this all just to brag. The answer is yes I am writing this because I like to brag and I really like attention, but that's not the entire reason. A big part is that I have been telling lies, and I need to get them off my chest so that I can finally move onto living a sincere life.

Most of you aren't aware of the years I spent as a NEET. I posted pictures of my messy room and my physique at the time, and my physique was pretty bad. I was in a really dark place the first time I posted it and just didn't care anymore. But I gained some slight amusement from the reactions people would have to how depraved my life was so I leaned into it and began to exaggerate. I added over a decade to my age to make it seem like I had been a NEET for a longer period of time. I pretended to be a virgin even though I did very well in college. I pretended to be proud of the fact that my parents gave me an allowance because of how it would upset the poors. Ultimately I exaggerated and played a character online to mask my struggles.

I obviously was not happy though. A happy person does not fall into the hole that I did. And it was especially painful because during my time at college I had everything. I was a college athlete, I had a lot of friends, and I was successful with women. The only issue I had was I would withdraw a lot because having friends was exhausting. I started withdrawing for a week at a time. Then two. I would lose friend groups during those periods, then I would come back and make more and lose them again. I had friends who tried to keep up with me but I ghosted them because I just didn't have the energy to respond.

It is a unique experience, to go from someone who had everything to having absolutely nothing. Due to my rich parents I didn't even have a struggle to motivate me, it was like I had entered into some sort of purgatory. I started to get all of my social interaction from trolling people on the internet, because due to my inability to be sincere I couldn't even make internet friends. I covered up negative thoughts with research chemicals and THC, which actually worked pretty well and is probably why I spent so much time in that hole. It was only when I tried to quit that I started to suffer, and since I had an infinite money glitch there was little reason for me to quit. I eventually I moved onto posting my peepee in anger just because I truly did not care anymore. That was probably simultaneously both my greatest and worst moment at the same time. Looking back at that photo now with my messy and dark room in the background I see a broken man, but at the same time I see one who didn't lose his pride. I was literally at rock bottom and I did not care. It was around that time that I began my ascent into egoism which is ultimately what helped me confront my insecurity and allowed me to begin rebuilding myself physically and mentally.

There are a few quotes from Miyamoto Musashi that accurately depict the period of my life that followed. "A shinobi would know the difference between honor and victory" as well as "Seek nothing outside of yourself". I took those to heart. There was nothing I wouldn't do for power. All of my attention went to improving myself and my own skills. I continued to use my physique to troll, it was funny to see it get better and better each time I spammed it at whoever I was arguing with. My training also started to feel good, the pump was euphoric, I started walking and getting around 10-20k steps per-day which cleared my thoughts. I took full advantage of my parents resources and sustained my body with the finest food and supplements. I used people like Zyzz and the Tren Twins as inspiration and started listening to hardstyle and ego-phonk all the time. I saw myself as a castle that needed to be fortified, and the rest of the world as potential attackers.

That mindset, of course, clashed with the side of me that enjoyed trolling. It also will not help me grow long term. It helped me out of this hole but now I need to adapt to my new situation. I don't think the solution is to abandon my ego, I think it will be to embrace, but in a way that does not cost me my sincerity. As I build a life that people genuinely want to be part of, I'm finding I have no more need of insecurity. My focus now is only on my art.

Which is why I am going to be starting a new project. It will be a spideymemes twitter account that is targeted at the growing Indian demographic. I will create a script that will take a spideymeme, apply hindi to it, and then automatically post it to this twitter account with tags that draw in the 1.5 billion sars. I will use everything I learned while making my trollstation to pull this off without a hitch and then probably get hired at Google.

As I have no need for money, all of this ad revenue will be used to purchase marsey bucks which will then be transferred to @Spiderman. I am also planning to finally get on steroids for real this time instead of just lying about it as a joke. My plan is probably to blast 500mg for a 12 week cycle. I want to run my current program for a few more months before I start so I will not be starting for 3-4 more months. I want it not just for the physical benefits, but for the drive it will give me in my career. I am doing a lot more than I used to do, so I am starting to get tired.

Also I will be meeting up with @Bridge irl after Christmas. We will go to Burger King and review their menu, and we will also get a few of their crowns to keep as souvenirs.
