I've owned dogs for most of my life. My family had rescue greyhounds & stray mutts. All wonderful, sweet, well-behaved animals. Dogs are a lot of responsibility, from training, proper socialization, regular bathing & general health care. Not everyone can handle that responsibility, and some are piss-poor at it. There are a LOT of people who should not own pets, dogs in particular, because they refuse to train them & care for them properly. That being said, I loved dogs up until my mid-30s, when I lived with roommates for a few years. They were pet hoarders & had snakes & cats that they barely cared for. I took on the responsibility of caring for the cats, but I was scared of the snakes. After one of the cats died, one roommate insisted on getting a beagle puppy.Living with that dog was absolutely terrible. They refused to train it, barely walked it, and I had to eat in my room to keep it away from me during meal time. It cried all the time, bayed constantly, shit & pissed everywher... (1)

Cats puke on the floor, not dogs. Barking pisses me off massively, a neighbour half a km away has yappy dogs that never shut up. My dog barks at cars going past which is his job, not many cars as it's country area on a dead end dirt road. Another neighbour has big dogs and I never hear them. Definitely prefer cats. I wouldn't say I "hate" babies, because hatred is reserved for things I'm morally opposed to. I wish nothing but the best for all babies. I would never hurt a child. But if I went the rest of my life without meeting another baby, I'd be okay with that.My biggest problem is hygiene. It's crazy to me that people keep a little human who has no reservations about spitting up or having diaper accidents on the floor. And even if your baby is perfectly potty-trained, they still bring all sorts of outside germs with them. So you have to sanitize everything constantly or else risk having grime around your living space. Plus, the smell is a real and seemingly unavoidable consequence. Literally every house I've ever been in with more than one baby has it.They're also very loud. They cry and scream for no reason. Nothing fam. Just like I expect from you. Let's see if there's a few points I can elaborate on slightly.

I gotta push back on this just slightly. Battleships were going obsolete but it wasn't completely over quite yet. Notice how important they were at Leyte Gulf on both sides and that was near the end of the war. This is one thing where I actually got some insight from computer games. Like so often, that comes in the form of actually getting the geometry involved. A battleship at flank speed could get about as far overnight as a carrier-based plane could fly (I'm oversimplifying here, but you get it). So you could actually dash in and catch them with a little luck. Especially if there were a few clouds out.

But it was really marginal. At the end of the war the proximity fuze for AA shells came out which helped the battleships a lot but also jet engines and guided bombs. And just planes that could fly farther. So it was really obvious by 1945 that within a few years they would be totally useless for fighting other ships.

It was the single greatest massacre of VC forces to the extent that they literally ceased to fricking be a political power within the communist sphere in Vietnam entire and Cambodia. From then on the North Vietnamese had near absolute control of military operations.

The VC were never really an independent force. At least not at the top level. There were lots of commies in South Vietnam at the beginning of the war of course, but the leadership was always directed from Hanoi. What was really changed by Tet is that all these low-level commies native to the South got killed off. After that, there was no longer any pretense that this was a guerilla war. By the time the old man got there (I think 1970) it was completely a conventional war between the North and the South fought with advanced high-tech weapons. He wasn't hauling an M-16 around when he was on his photography trips to old historical buildings in Hue because there weren't any guerillas to be scared of. Those people were all dead.

The Phoenix Program was also very helpful here. Just using basic 1960s police and office work they rooted out the commies in the villages. This was basically just turning the tables on them. Going after everyone who is on the enemy side. Except we didn't use terrorism the way the VC did, chopping off the head of the mayor's kid and shit like that. The cops just arrested people in 90% of cases. (Statistics on the Phoenix Program are quite interesting, something to go into more detail about someday.)

In these he shares his outlandish knowledge on a plethora of topics ranging from computer science (hacking), running a ferret rescue operations to working at blizzard. In fact, he will mention at least one of the topics within 10 seconds. He's also a game developer and a streamer. The sad reality - he has no clue about anything. People tend to believe his words as he appears wise and smart and stuff. His KiwiFarms Thread has 160 pages of people rightfully hating and collecting his r-slurred statements. He's god's gift to mankind - and he'll make sure you think so too.

He's also a self-proclaimed "top-tier" World of Warcraft player with years of experience and an actual history of working at Blizzard - and then wimped out on his hardcore (permadeath) streamer guild OnlyFangs, getting multiple others killed as he ran away from a very survivable encounter. To clarify, various streamers are currently running a hardcore classic world of warcraft guild called OnlyFangs. The point of hardcore is that you only have one life, if you die at any point of the game, you have to re-level which may take at least 120 hours. So unlike regular classic which is piss-easy baby mode, dying is a big deal. That's why you need to trust your teammates in a dungeon or raid, as your in-game life depends on them NOT fricking up. Pirate did frick up. In fact, he fricked up so bad that the entire streaming world sans his paid shill buddy Asmongold is pooping on him. Rightfully so. Not only did he frick up, he also refused to acknowledge even a modicum of accountability, and instead iteratively double triple or quadruple downs on his original statements. The entire /r/LivestreamFail subreddit is full of threads pooping on him and it's genuinely the most endearing thing I've ever seen. Not even universally hated child male feminists are as despised. This is going to be a post where the one guy from New Mexico on rDrama gets really mad, like when Texas people get pissy because you added some kidney beans to your chili or whatever. Hey hypothetical future New Mexico angry guy, it's all good, you should be mad. I am literally raping your culture on purpose.

This post is about making something that's relevant to the state of New Mexico where they venerate a specific type of non-spicy pepper called the Hatch Green Chile. New Mexicans have made this product a point of cultural pride for their state and have done a pretty good job of exporting it all over the country during the brief window they're harvested (late August through part of September if you're looking for some). Now I said "non-spicy" but nowadays clever growers have created new varieties that are pretty spicy, although not much more so than a Jalapeno or something similar. If you want your green chile stew to be spicy, you can either look for those hot varieties, or just add some other peppers for heat. Personally, I don't like using the spicy Hatch peppers in this recipe because you need to add a LOT of peppers (like 30 or 40) which can get INSANE if you use the really spicy ones. It's up to you and your colon, though.

If you buy fresh peppers during the harvesting season, the grocery stores will roast them for you on site. Whole Foods likes to do this in some places. Otherwise, somebody in your town will probably get on the bandwagon. They bring a big roaster out in front of the store and sell the peppers by the pound. You'll probably need in the area of 1 - 2 pounds of peppers to make this recipe. If you go nuts for these things and buy a whole 25 pound case, make sure you have a vacuum sealer and a big freezer because these will not stay good in your fridge for more than a week. They're very wet after roasting, so you can only imagine how fast they're going to grow mold.

On to the stew. This recipe is dead simple to make. It's all just prep work. Hope you enjoy cutting things. You'll need:

• 1 to 2 pounds of pork shoulder, cut into 1 inch cubes (actual size of the cubes is up to what you like to eat, but if you make them too big you'll have to cook everything longer)

• 1 to 2 pounds of green chiles (I didn't weigh them or count them when I made this last night, but it looked like there were 25 - 35 peppers)

• A big russet potato or a couple red potatoes

• 2 big carrots (not traditional, but my favorite version of this had them so I use them too)

• A big white onion

• Lots of garlic

• Chicken or beef stock

• Onion powder, cumin, oregano, black pepper

• MSG in the form of Sazon Goya (totally optional)

• Plenty of salt

First, you need to process the chiles before cooking them. You need to chop off the seed pod that's on one end and scrape the skins off. The skins aren't exactly inedible, but they have a bad texture that will make you look like an idiot in front of your guests while they try to pretend they don't hate you and your lousy dinner. You don't need to be careful about removing all the seeds, they really won't hurt anything, you just want to remove the seed pod because it's hard as a rock.

You could scrape the skins off the peppers using a fork or a butter knife, but I suggest you use the back of your relatively new, extremely sharp chef's knife. That way, you can talk on the phone with a friend while you're doing it, get distracted while turning the knife over in your hand again and again (using the sharp side to cut out the seed pod and the dull side to scrape, naturally) and then nearly cut the end of your index finger off when you grab and squeeze the sharp side of your knife.

Once you get back from the emergency room, start by browning then removing the pork cubes, then saute the onions, garlic, and chiles a little with the dried spices, before adding back the meat, potatoes, stock and everything else. Cook for about 2 hours (45 min covered and the rest uncovered). If you want to cook longer, don't add the potatoes right away or they'll turn to mush. Add the MSG right at the end or it will lose some of its potency.

Real New Mexican recipes I found online don't have carrots, but the first place I ever had this stuff at was in Provo, Utah (Black Sheep Cafe) and it was so good that I have always tried to imitate it.

At launch, Starfield was celebrated but it didn't take long before a hate campaign began against it and people started posting tons of negative reviews of the game. They complained about ridiculous things like the lack of vehicles (plenty of games don't have vehicles), and the lack of things to do (this is false, there is plenty to do).

The truth is that people had unrealistic standards. They wanted 1000 individually crafted planets and when they realised they were procedurally generated, people lost their shit without realising what an immense undertaking they were asking for. Starfield manages to provide a good variety of games and exploration always rewards you with amazing sights and plenty of opportunities to take photos. At the end of the day, Starfield provides more content than 99% of games out there. It is better than No Man's Sky @BILLYBIGBOLLOCKS. How you can you visit places like Neon and Akila and complain that the game is empty? There are so many settlements with an incomprehensible amount of content. There is also a host of lifeforms to discover and they all behave differently, making it exciting to explore the wild parts of planets.

People complain that many of the missions are fetch quests, but they fail to understand that much of the fun of the game comes from the journey. Traveling to different places, speaking to different characters and discovering new things is exciting, and fetch quests expose you to new content.

What I find strange is that people complain about the writing and the story. This is the best writing in a game recent. It's so fun talking to different characters because they all feel so different and they have varied motivations. I can't wait to meet new characters and it's exciting to pick what I'm going to say to them. I enjoy the persuasion situations where you have to pick the right thing to say to convince a character to do something. These are high stakes situations and I don't save scum so I deal with the consequences of my actions.

I will admit that the game is not perfect and there are some flaws. For example, there are a lot of loading screens. Secondly, 60fps mode isn't particularly stable. However, none of these shortcomings tarnish the game in a major way. Furthermore, Bethesda has listened to fans and updated the game to give players plenty of the features they have been asking for, making the game even better than it was at launch. That is a beautiful thing to do, and not many developers would do that. Thank you Todd Howard.

So with all this needless hate gathering around Starfield, it became a hot topic in the culture wars which led to the torrent of bad reviews. That is why there is a negative perception of the game. However, for those of us who know what the game is trying to be and are playing it with a pure heart, we recognise that Bethesda has bestowed a masterpiece upon us. This is a beautiful game with so many twists and turns. It's innovative, unorthodox, yet so effortlessly fun.

I'm feeling quite sad right now because @ToeBeans ignored me cruelly and I don't know what I did to her to deserve this treatment. However, I'm about to play Starfield and it's going to make me feel much better. I might not have true friends online, but when I'm playing Starfield, Sarah Morgan and Sam Coe are my best buddies and they'll never desert me. Here are some of my favorite screenshots from the game. surprised that Maxar hasn't gotten wind of this yet. would certainly create some beautiful drama. but this works too
