If Trump and President Musk actually completely gut Medicare, Medicaid, corn subsidies and the defence budget, FEMA and even let their supporters die, MAGAcels deserve it.
This is highly misleading. The Tweet claims that an $880m cut is nearly the entire Medicaid budget and would eliminate the program. In reality the proposal was for the cut to be spread over 10 years. She said she was uncomfortable in the taxi because some taxi driver in Sydney murdered some people and got upset at the popo for taking the taxi driver's side or something. Idk heard it yesterday on the radio.
Basically, Sydney is a dangerous place that you should never go to.

OP
Canadian here. Not sure if this is PreperIntel worthy but just reporting something I've honestly never seen in my life. Canadians woke up today feeling super patriotic. And super pissed. Not that we aren't usually patriotic but we aren't a bunch of flag wavers. It's more a quiet patriotism we keep to ourselves. And we are generally a polite and reserved bunch in general.
Not today. Holy... the mood in Canada is ... PISSED.
Most of the anger is aimed at your current head of state but also at your country as a whole. Not so much individual Americans. You will be perfectly safe traveling through Canada or visiting. But there is outright anger directed at any product with a "Made in the USA" flag. Every store in Canada is going around with maple leaf stickers marking the "Made in Canada" products. Consumer boycotts are springing up organically across the country. The talk is really sort of ... ugly.
I get the sense there has been significant damage done to the US Brand in Canada. And I don't think it's confined to Canada. I have friends in the UK who say the same. They are also just frankly pissed beyond all reason. I expect it's the same across Europe.
Hopefully it dies down. It's absolutely non-productive and unCanadian. America and Canada have been ride or die BFF's for a century or more. I live in Arizona 1/2 time and I love LOVE it here. I have yet to personally meet an American I didn't genuinely like. You are good people. You do not deserve any of this.
Unless of course you voted for this. In which case... hope you get everything you voted for and then some.
also RIP to /r/prepperintel, it has turned into just another 'Drumf le bad' subreddit

YouTube's algo promoted the shit out of this spam to me and so now you get to suffer, too.
My Boss Gave Me an Unthinkable Choice for a Promotion"
What started as a routine day at the office quickly spiraled into something far more unsettling. I had spent years working hard, proving my dedication, and striving for the promotion I had long dreamed of. But when Mr. Thompson called me into his office, the conversation took a turn I never expected. Suddenly, the path to success wasn't about my skills or experience—it was about something else entirely. I was faced with a choice I never thought I'd have to make. Would I sacrifice my integrity to get ahead? Watch to find out how one moment changed everything…

Night owls. People who prefer to stay up at night until late. Are they real? From a quick research it seems there ain't much controversy to the idea of people who just naturally prefer the dark of night and it's not a new concept either.
Many things can affect your sleep schedule, like a bad diet, a sedentary lifestyle, too much screentime, and on... and a bad sleep schedule can affect many things about you.
But for me? I can't quite recall a single time in my life where sleeping wasn't a problem. Sometimes to a lesser extent, sometimes to a major extent. I don't recall much from when I was a kid, but one thing I'm aware of is that even before the invention of modern day computers and celphones, I had trouble waking up early, going to sleep at ''normal'' times and a general lack of energy during the day and excess of energy during the night. It's actually so ridiculous it's funny, I can spend an entire day feeling like I can drop dead from sleepiness at any moment, but comes midnight and all my sleepiness goes away.
During highschool, most students from my class didn't like waking up early, but they didn't have much trouble with it. It was more of an annoyance than anything. Meanwhile every day for me felt like an herculean task, felt like dragging my body throughout my house and into school. It's funny, as I write this I remember a day a classmate came to school completely hangover, and the state she was in was kinda how I felt every day (but less r-slurred).
And it didn't really get better as the hours went by, if anything it was WORSE. I had school from 7AM to 1PM, but during thursdays it was from 7AM to 5PM. Those days, during the last class, I'd be so tired I'd have to consciously try to keep myself awake. But that's not all, I would get home at around 6PM and sleep from 6PM to 12AM, obviously missing class on friday. So I had a choice: either skip thursday afternoon classes or skip friday classes. I was physically incapable of attending both.
But why am I writing all this shit?
Recently I tried to 'fix' my schedule. I was going to sleep at around 4 or 5AM and waking up anywhere from 12AM to 4PM. So yesterday I woke up early and stayed awake the whole day. Went to sleep at 12AM, only to wake up at 4AM and feel like a walking corpse. I was frustrated and obviously tired as frick so I slept from 8AM to about 3PM. I've been thinking about this and researching as much as I can about sleep cycles and nocturnal people, though researching this stuff is kinda aids.
Right now I'm thinking of saying screw it. Trying to fix in 'normal' hours feels like trying to force a cube into the ball hole.

Got my surgery finally. Flew over to 90210. Horrible weather. Surgery was extremely uneventful other than me having some variation of anxiety and an upset stomach for a couple hours before the surgery began. It's all local anesthesia - you're awake for it. I talked to the surgeon throughout the whole operation. He told me if I wanted to buy a nice 911 I should do it through a broker and not a dealer. I was able to drive home even though they "require" that you get a ride home. I'd honestly have thrown up if I had to have someone drive me home, I was too nauseous from all the drugs.
Got back to my hotel off the beach and just hung out there all day. I wanted to do a lot of walking but it was sideways raining and I can't get the bandages wet. So, I didn't walk much until it was very late when my pain was surging insanely and the rain had let up. I needed to walk as well because it helped with the nausea and more importantly - the blood pooling in my face. By walking I could get more blood into my legs and lessen the pain. I couldn't do anything more intense at home like squats because that would be too intense on the body and blood vessels. The pain was so intense when the anesthesia wore off - the pain pills felt like they did nothing but contribute to my nausea. I ended up walking about 20k steps and talking to someone on the phone for most of it. It was the only way to get the pain off my mind. We argued about immigrants and what it means to be American.
I am an extremely open person with all of my friends. So, naturally, everyone is calling and watching my stories intensely with a lot of questions. People are weirded out but some say things like, "I can see the vision". We'll see where it goes. The healing process is really painful and it takes a while. I hate surgery for good reason. I'm on my third day of recovery and I feel better now. The pain is much less and I have some appetite which makes taking these pills cause less nausea.
I'm just really glad I'm not recovering in NYC right now. I'm back in SF and it's so quiet and peaceful. I don't have to deal with people yelling, loud butt sirens constantly, garbage pickup at 3am every night for 30+ minutes, etc. I miss living here and the parts of the life I had. There are things I enjoy about NYC but even the air you breathe there is so unhealthy for you. I miss the peace and quiet. I miss seeing flowers, trees, and green grass where I lived. I miss seeing tall redwood trees. I miss the sunshine and not living in shadows.
I still can't believe that I had to get surgery for anyone to find me attractive though. This is the life we live.

OH NO BUDDY!
How sad is it that I, a sperg who irregularly uploads mainly audio only content of niche rdrama schizos and obtuse political satire, has garnered more subs than a guy who uploads daily normieslop raccoon and car videos from his house that his dead cuck father begrudgingly gave him so he wouldn't kill himself and join his fiance in the afterlife?
I guess that argument for not coming on and debating pizzaking has crumbled. Any guesses on the next cope?
