Yesderday on the main sub there was a big Bernie glazing post that made it to the top. The comment section was something straight out of 2015.

When are these people going to get it through their heads? The Democratic party is the party of Wall Street. It's the party of the military industrial complex. The party of the billionaires. It's not interested in progressive policies. In fact, the people it represents have a great deal to lose if student loan debt relief or universal single payer were implemented. "But Bernie would have won!!"...you're missing the point. The policies he was advocating for, had they been implemented, would have gone against the interests of the people the Democratic party represents, which is why he didn't win in the first place. Maybe they'd rather lose the election and keep their wealth? Maybe winning the election isn't worth paying for your college and health costs?

Why is all of this so hard to understand? Why do people still think it's their job to "pressure" the Democrats or "teach them a lesson"? You are not a political advisor to the Democratic party. My wife is really into this sounding thing where I stick an ice cold metal Rod in my peepee . She keeps them in the freezer (to disinfect ) and instructs me when to take them out and send her vids of me using them when she's at work . She pays for everything for us and is the breadwinner while I am home drinking . It's a great deal and we love each other very much , got a couple twins on the way now too . Well last night i was hammered and accidentally sent one of those vids to my own fricking 76 year old father . Something i've realized is that due to all these restrictions, our real life vocabulary has fundamentally changed. One way this has changed is that curse words are getting more rare, it seems that you used to run into people all the time who would use frick in every sentence but that has all but disappeared. there's also the other obvious examples, like the tiktokification of language (unalive, demure etc) and less people using hate (fun) speech in daily conversation.
