Is there a NSV2CE zipper Bible yet?

On Monday someone at Mass said they had one on order from Ignatius but I can't find any reference to one. My EDC zipper RSVCE so becoming crummy from use and the gilded pages are turning green so I need something new.

I tried this last week carrying one of my NABREs but I don't see much for it on an daily basis and I don't like the changes to the apocrypha and lack of red text for Christ's voice. Not to mention it's not as portable since I like to just toss my zipper Bible in my rucksack for work and not have to worry about damage

If not zipper I could really use something more durable that's complete and not just a psalms/nt abridgment.

I’m not addicted to Kratom 😠😑

Doctors just don’t understand this natural medicine!

Yes I need higher doses and to potentiate but it’s not like I have a history of being addicted to opioids.

Just to be safe I’ll take a little tolerance break with another addictive drug.

Oh man maybe I’m coming down with a cold.

Frick this, I need this plant to function

#think like a doctor basics

I'm calling it quits because this is such a basic question I'd expect high schoolers to know after a single lecture on diabetes. The answer is 4. Type I is innate by birth defect to the pancreas, type II is caused by extreme stress to beta pancreatic cells by adipose, type III cause is unknown but leads to Alzheimer's in known subject groups but related to alpha and beta pancreatic cell failure, type IV is similar to type III and has only been experienced in mice but has comparisons in human type III diabetes.

Shit, I would've taken 4 and just calling them all fatties since that encompasses II and III.

Wednesday Night Buzz Thread -- Just played live edition

Joined a local punk band on Saturday and played a mini-set tonight. Barely knew the songs, and it was kind of a mess, but everyone was pumped about it. We're hoping to do proper shows by summer. Having a couple to celebrate.

What are you neighbors drinking?

/r/solarpunk is a sub for those interested in β€œsolarpunk aesthetics” which means carbon free degrowth utopias for their scifi stories/games, etc.

Naturally their zero CO2 emissions world has no place for planes.

https://old.reddit.com/r/solarpunk/comments/113j3et/how_do_we_travel_overseas_in_a_solarpunk/?sort=controversial

>We travel across oceans in blimps and sail boats.

>I imagine solar sail boats or potentially algae powered? It would need to be something regenerative and we would need to sacrifice speed. There is no β€œweekend in Paris” and is a bit more arduous.

A bit arduous is quite an understatement

>Without the pressure of a capitalist rat-race, I hope people take traveling sabbaticals. These will by design not be quick. So, hitching a ride on a freighter (sail/ammonia/solar powered) or using a hydrogen-filled dirigible to get around seem like good options.

Once we get rid of capitalism everyone will be free to sail around the world :marseywholesome:

This is literally how it was done for all of history until the mid-1800s.

Sailing across the oceans was quite dangerous back then, I doubt redditcels will enjoy being in the middle of the Atlantic during a storm.

sail boats. people will have a lot more time to travel. in fact the voyage will be as important as the time spent in the destination, if not more important.

in fact i'm willing to bet that, in the future people will spend way more time travelling the world than we do now. because our "union" will not be because we share products it will be because we will share experiences.

humanity will not be tied economically it will be tied because we, our friends and family will have shared real experiences all around the world. no longer people will look at someone else from another country as another species because we will all travel around the world.
