Could part of it be that the women going to your house are in it for a hookup/FWB/casual whereas the date women are looking for more and not quite seeing a match IRL?
I wouldn’t think so, I state upfront that I’m looking for something serious and am not into hookups at all. [-24]
I wouldn’t recommend asking a woman to hang out at your place. That’s not safe for either of you. Also, not everyone is looking for a free meal. I understand the concern if you’ve dealt with that a lot, but it’s important to be optimistic as well. I know it’s hard sometimes, but a negative mindset isn’t going to help
Personally, I think it’s best to either get coffee/a drink, or even ice cream, or go for a walk – obviously at a place that usually has a fair amount of people around and while there’s still daylight. You could even do some thing like walk around a farmers market if you have those in your area. That doesn’t require you to spend any money, you could just talk and browse. And if the woman isn’t okay with some thing but that isn’t dinner or something less casual, then she’s the wrong woman
I’m for going right over to the woman’s house in theory but I’ve read several stories of men being robbed/killed.
We’re also in a post-MeToo world — I won’t even be in the same room alone with a female colleague at work. Doesn’t make sense to not apply the same level of caution to my personal life.
How I dearly miss the days when I’d sneak into a girl’s parents house and bang her out with the parents sleeping in the next room. Actually had several situations like that when I was young and carefree. [-26]
Meh. No one cares about paying. It's not like these women are pretending to like you just so they can get a free meal. They aren't fricking hobos. They just didn't like you. Get over it and move on to the next woman.
At least for heterosexual men, paying for meals is part of dating. If you don't like it, don't ask them out to a meal on your first date.
I do actually know girls that all they want out of dating apps is free meals and drinks. [-3]
You don’t like someone when talking on the phone, have an engaging date, and then suddenly not like them. You know if you are attracted to someone or not before you meet them. You know if you get along and have enough in common from conversations before the date. They just are bored and want someone to take them out, and why not if it’s free. [-50]
I seriously thought you were my date from the other night writing about our dinner. I'll tell you why I wasnt interested in seeing him again even though we had spoken on the phone and I knew (for the most part) what he looked like: he treated the waitress poorly, didn't ask many questions, talked about himself too much, talked about his frequent use of Psychedelics (I'm sober), and delved further into HIS hobbies. Through this deeper discovery about him, I knew I didn't have, even remotely, enough in common. These are things that didn't come up on our phone call. I usually like to go to coffee first, but HE asked me to dinner.

Study: https://www.docdroid.net/3y9ZYHx/mothers-of-boys-with-gender-identity-disorder-pdf
A study on gender dysphoria conducted in 1994 has resurfaced and is making waves over the conclusions it draws.
Researchers compared mothers of boys with gender identity disorder with mothers of "normal boys to determine whether differences in psychopathy and child-rearing attitudes and practices could be identified."
According to the study, "mothers of boys with gender identity disorders had more symptoms of depression and more often met the criteria for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)" than mothers of boys who don't exhibit issues with their gender identity.
More than half (53 percent) of moms of boys with gender identity disorders had been diagnosed with depression or BPD, compared to just six percent of the control group. Additionally, 44 percent sought psychiatric help for depression at some point in their life.
Researchers found that mothers of sons with gender identity disorders are "extremely dependent on their sons for emotional sustenance," exhibiting "boundary problems and difficulty separating from their sons."
"It was also observed that many women had symptoms of a narcissistic personality disorder," the paper states.
The resurfaced paper could reignite debate over the degree to which gender identity disorders among youth are the result of social contagion, or other factors unrelated to a child's own physiology or psychology, as the U.S. addresses the spike in gender-related psychoses.
Over the past few years, the number of young people who identify as transgender has doubled, according to research published by the University of California in 2022. Now, nearly one-in-five people who identify as transgender are aged 13 to 17.
The 1994 paper found that mothers of sons with gender identity disorders had "longstanding difficulties" with interpersonal relations, including issues with separation, depression, and the management of aggression.
"They describe themselves as compulsively seeking companionship, as prone to intense, emotionally stormy, angry relationships, and as having chronic and intense feelings of loneliness, emptiness, and depression," researchers noted. "They tend to make excessive demands on people and feel entitled to do so."
As a result of the findings, researchers called for additional studies to "shed light on the familial contribution" to gender identity disorders.

Now you can pay a monthly fee to un-nerf your electric Mercedes
Mercedes-Benz reveals new subscription pricing for its ‘Acceleration Increase’ software paywall that allows the electric EQE and EQS to go quicker — starting at $60 per month.
Mercedes-Benz has new finalized pricing on its vexing “Acceleration Increase” subscription revealed last year that can eke out more electric performance — without any physical modification — from the automaker’s current EQE and EQS EV models, Car and Driver reports.
The updated Acceleration Increase pricing starts at $60 per month, or you can save about $120 and pay $600 per year instead. That pricing only applies to the AWD EQE 350 sedan and its SUV counterpart. Meanwhile, the pricier AWD EQS 450 car and SUV command a higher $90 per month (or $900 per year) rate for their own boost.
Mercedes-Benz had initially set the subscription at $1,200 per year, but now it’s been reduced a bit to a slightly-less-unreasonable rate. The automaker is also letting you pay a one-time fee of $1,950 on the EQE and $2,950 on the EQS to unlock the Acceleration Increase permanently.
The unlock increases acceleration and power output to the motors by 20 to 24 percent, according to Mercedes-Benz. The EQE’s 215kW total output increases to 260kW, and its 0–60 mph time decreases to 5.1 seconds (from 6) for the sedan and 5.2 seconds (from 6.2) on the SUV. Meanwhile, the EQS goes from 265kW to 330kW and decreases its 0–60 mph to 4.5 seconds (from 5.3) and 4.9 seconds (from 5.8) on the SUV.
For those who do choose the monthly subscription, they’d be paying the same as a full unlock in just under three years of owning either vehicle. It seems that Mercedes-Benz’s monthly subscription pricing model is designed for customers who are leasing the vehicle for a short period or only want to show off the performance temporarily while taking visiting friends or family on joy rides.
The era of automakers adding monthly subscriptions and microtransactions to vehicles is becoming a troubling trend. Tesla was early to selling such options when it offered a $3,250 unlock to use the full battery capacity of some older Model S vehicles. More recently, there have been cars with heated seats that are subject to software locks and subscriptions from Tesla and BMW, respectively.
The EQS and EQE aren’t the only artificially nerfed electric cars to offer paid unlocks. Polestar offers a $1,195 one-time fee for a boost, and Tesla also has a performance unlock for its EVs. But if you really want a quick EV and you’re willing to pay over $100,000 for an EQS already, you have quicker options in the Tesla Model S Plaid or the AMG version of the EQS.

There is literally no way in any LBRY app or program to force the use of a proxy. Not a single network setting anywhere t be found. IN fact trying to access any LBRY site (like https://odysee.com) from behind tor fails silently because the API server 403s it.
If you download their aids ridden """"""""""""""""""native"""""""""""""""""" (electron) client and try to force it to use tor via proxychains or torsocks, the thing just shits the bed entirely.
If I try any ranom public socks5 proxy it fails.
This site which is used heavily by 3d printed gun autists and recommend to peopel who live in countries where 3d printing guns is illegal, doesn't allow tor or VPN usage.
