I came to the conclusion that I am not schizophrenic. I'm involved in an international conspiracy where they are trying to hide how bad the homeless crisis actually is, and the homeless organizations have tried to impede my progress every step of the way, but I survived. You don't know how bad things are in regards to the homeless crisis in the US and how little support is actually offered. When someone discusses homelessness on a city subreddit, a significant amount of the accounts are city officials trying to portray an inaccurate picture of homelessness. When the newspaper does an article on homelessness who do they interview? A city official or a homeless NPO.

Online artists as a whole despise the advent of AI artwork, but no online art community seethes about it as much as the furry fandom. They consider it a huge threat to their monopoly of exploiting neurodivergents for their neetbux in exchange for a drawing of their green wolf fursona taking a dump for a solid 3-figure price tag (the stink lines cost extra). They hate it to the point where all major furry websites such as FurAffinity and e621 prohibit the upload of any kind of imagery that have been created even slightly via AI cowtools, meanwhile proudly allowing shit like furry child porn i.e. babyfurs and cub to be posted. 
Enter /r/FurAI, a ~10,000 member subreddit seemingly created by a rogue faction of furry coomers who would rather embrace this new technology and have unlimited custom furry pornography delivered right to their screens - assumedly keymashing their "Anthro fox woman with a huge futa horsepeepee, hyper realistic, 4k" generation prompts one-handedly. The subreddit founder and owner @Tricky happens to be a dramatard himself (or at least stumbled in here for a short while at some point after discovering the rdrama bait sub /r/LoveForAIArt), and is pretty open about taking delight in the fact that this furry porn generation tech makes the vast majority of furry artists seethe hard.
Anyways, it looks like he cooked up some kind of infograph/guide a couple of months ago on how to steal unfinished sketches from an artist and use AI to upgrade them to fully complete art pieces, with the express purpose of spreading it and causing as much rage as possible. (and also possibly to shill his sub via outrage marketing 
)
It was posted to /r/furry and hooked quite a few angry furtwinks, so it ended up being an adequately successful gayop which was then quickly forgotten again... until this random r-slur somehow dug up this moldy encrusted bait from the bottom of the dumpster, and now a frickton of Twitter artists with huge followings are retweeting it and spreading it like wildfire again. As of this posting, it's sitting at a nice 420 quote tweets of pure malding about how anyone that dares follow this guide will be blacklisted and excommunicated from the furry community forever!

Introduction
Final Fantasy XIV (FF14) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed and published by Square Enix. The game was originally released in 2010 but received a major overhaul in 2013 (due to receiving a ton of negative feedback) with the release of its second version, A Realm Reborn. Since then, the game has continued to receive regular updates and expansions with the latest being Endwalker. In the game, players create their own unique characters and embark on an epic adventure in the world of Eorzea. The game features a rich and immersive storyline, filled with memorable characters and epic battles. Players can choose from a variety of different races and classes, each with its own unique playstyle and abilities. Stereotypical to the genre, the game's available races consist of elves, humans and all their variations, e.g. humans with cat ears or humans with bunny ears. Another race, which this drama is all about, are the Lalafells - I'll call them Lala(s) from now on:
Despite being small in stature and childlike in appearance, they are known to possess great intelligence and are skilled in various crafts. In game, there is the occasional joke about their tiny appearance but they are mostly treated seriously. None of this really matters because they are the token 'cute-smol-child' race and are known to only be played by fujos, freaks and total losers - so the only people interested in this game to begin with. Being a Lala is already quite difficult as you get regularly bullied in dungeons and raids and everyone thinks you're a libertarian loser but recently square enix added a new cosmetic designed for them and things got heated. You see, there are in game houses you can buy in the game which you can decorate with furniture according to your liking. Lala players have been very vocal to the developers about wanting more Lala specific furnitures and recently their wishes were granted by adding a new chair:

As the title says, with patch 6.35 we received some new housing items! One of them being... the lalafell lifter. We have been begging for lalafell furniture for the longest time, especially after visiting Tomra and seeing all of the lalafellin sized furniture. We haven't had an official lalafell furniture since the step stool, so we were excited to finally have something that wasn't huge or way over our heads!
...Except this piece of furniture is not what we were hoping for. It's insulting and a lot of my friends think the same. It looks like a toddler's high chair. It doesn't even look like a proper chair with a proper backing and arms. It's forced to stay a pure white color and the dyable area is the part that makes it look like a furniture chair.
We've been hoping for lalafell beds, tables, anything... but this? The chair is great as a high chair in general. But not when most descriptions in a lot of languages note that it's specifically good for children and toddlers.
Please reconsider changing the design/default white wood to a more neutral look. Or rename it to anything else that doesn't allude to lalafell-specific item. I don't want to even imagine going to people's in game houses or RP venues just to be told to go sit in the child's corner

on July 2, 2012, a video was posted on YouTube called "Muhammad Movie Trailer" by a man eponymously known as Sam Bacile (real name Nakoula Basseley Nakoula). the movie is described by Wikipedia as "depicting the Prophet Muhammad as a child of uncertain parentage, a buffoon, a womanizer, a homosexual, a child molester, and a greedy, bloodthirsty thug" and that Muhammad "[mixed] parts of the Torah and the New Testament to create the Quran". It's pretty evident that this movie only existed to piss off a ton of muslim people.
to generate hype for the movie, Nakoula rented out a theater on vine street in Hollywood, and starts putting up signs advertising a movie called "The Innocence of Bin Laden" (photo below)
about 10 people showed up to the screening.
Now this didn't get much traction in the Arab world because most of them don't speak English. It wasn't until September 4th when it was dubbed in Arabic and posted again. Things hit a boiling point when Sheikh Khalad Abdalla, a hardline Islamic sheikh, aired part of the trailer on his show. After this, there were dozens of protests worldwide, with official protests starting September 11th 2012. here's map of all the protests.

The minister for railways in Pakistan offered a $100,000 reward to anyone who could kill Nakoula

Its alleged that there was a protest outside of a McDonalds in Saudi Arabia, but i cant find any evidence for this besides Wikipedia
After the protests stopped, 50 people had died and over 694 people were injured
it was widely believed that the release of this trailer caused the Benghazi attacks, all though evidence has come out to suggest that the attack was well planned in advance, even before the video was known to the Arab world
Around the time of the riots, YouTube voluntarily blocked the video in Egypt and Libya, with the video also being blocked in Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, India, and Singapore due to local laws. Funnily enough, Turkey, Brazil, and Russia all tried to block the video as well. This also led to Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sudan, and Pakistan blocking all of YouTube because of the video
now you may be wondering, how did this guy get 80 actors to come together and make a movie like this?
So when looking for actors, Nakoula intentionally buried the lead, he claimed that he was making a movie called "Desert Warrior", which had no references to Muhammad or Islam. Once he got the footage of the actors, he hired people to dub over the lines. a particularly egregious examples of this is when a character writes "Man + X = BT" on a white board, and "BT" is dubbed into "Islamic Terrorism", its implied that "X" is Muhammad.
One of the lead actors in the movie sued Google to have the trailer taken down, saying that she was tricked into appearing in an anti Islamic film that she didn't agree with. The 9th circuit court of appeals agreed with her, and ordered Google to take it down, only for that decision to be reversed.
Now during this shitshow, Nakoula's identity was revealed. Up until this point, he was only known online as "Sam Becile", but after he got doxed he started receiving credible threats. This caused him to go into hiding, and he sold his house and fled.
One of the funniest parts about this, is that after he was doxed, he was charged with 8 counts of parole violation. Nakoula had a long rap sheet, which included intent to manufacture methamphetamine, unpaid taxes, and bank fraud. The bank fraud is what ended up putting him on probation. I cant find a good source for this, but apparently he was charged with parole violation for lying about his identity while making the movie, and using the internet without permission from his PO, which violated multiple stipulations of his parole.
After all this happened, the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt sentenced Nakoula and some other people to death in absentia. Its believed that Nakoula lives in a halfway house led by a Baptist minister

In RSA Black people and coloureds make the majority of murders in urban places like Joburg or Cape Town. So I saw this drama and like any curious dramatard, l looked into some of their profiles. /u/PM_ME_YOUR_SUNSHINE the STEM-cel in that thread was interesting, he was an antiwork user who actually seems to have a decent career, not just that he also claims to have been "self-made" guy who worked and saved from highschool through college without relying on his social network. They aren’t trust fund kids, they earn every dollar. But they have had huge advantages that have pushed them about a decade further than us financially. Our friends had their living expenses covered while going to college, had tuition covered by scholarship, and only had to pay for books and lab fees and fun money. We had to always be working and hustling for good opportunities (I literally couldn’t afford to make less than $20 an hour so I had to ride engineering student job to engineering student job at manufacturers in the area), paid every single dollar of anything we got past the age of 16, and I had to pay cash for semesters after we both ran over our full ride scholarships chasing grad degrees and other opportunities. They had their $30k wedding covered. They had a gift of $50k to buy their starter home that the girls dad then came in and did things like new plumbing and a roof. We had about $10k we could scrape together for a home, and will most likely pay PMI on our FHA loan forever due to the non existent interest rate we got, all because we had no one to ask for an extra $5k-$10k when our opening for homeownership in our city was closing. And every single thing done to our house was done by us DIY and out of our pocket. No gifts or family to help us out or to even supervise. Any home emergency gets our cold cash and labor thrown at it, while our young neighbor gets her dad to deliver and install a $4k water heater at 2 in the morning.
50s-70s were a time when any moron could throw a business together. My great uncle was an alcoholic with little to no social skills, and became a surveyor/land engineer at 24 with his own sole proprietorship and made $10 million over the course of his career.
My best friends near-illiterate grandfather financed a warehouse with some tiny inheritance money and started storing lumber. Developed lung issues in his 30s that cost like $50 a year to keep under control but nowadays cost you tens of thousands outside of insurance. He has an insane amount of wealth.
Can I do either of those things with the same results? No. I’m far more educated, work far harder, have far more skills, and network out my butt and I’m lucky if I ever have a fraction of their wealth. It’s not how it goes today.

It wasn't all their fault for my grade, but I and the entire class averaged worse on every test than other classes. Right now I have to do moderately well on the exams and I'll pass, but I've heard the exams are real bitches. I'm currently preparing in overtime now for them as I've been doing, but I'm coming to terms that I could possibly get lower than a C overall for both classes which would "not pass" or fail me, I'd have to retake these classes.

For those interested in the math, this man has posted an average of 25 tweets every single day for the last decade and a half of his life. Would be a real shame if his life's work were to be put in jeopardy if say, someone told Daddy Elon about anything naughty he's said, right? 
As luck would have it, Hugo is all too eager to get fedposty when it comes to the rightoid question. Just from a quick browse, I found a solid candidate for reportmaxxing - and since our friend Hugo doesn't believe in debate and prefers the use of violence and force, it seems only fair to meet him at his own level and force him off Twitter (for the good of his own mental health of course)
Three days later, and bam.

It turns out Elon hasn't finished dunking on our furry friend yet though, as it turns out a recent glitch means that everyone can still see his tweets anyways!
Out of options for protecting his precious virtual status, he begs and pleads with the vile trolls as a last resort to just block him and leave his account be, playing victim and calling them unhinged psychos for daring to take away his beloved Twitter clout (clearly a far worse faux-pas than his own calling for assassinations of politicians belonging to the wrong party). Given this stark difference from his edgy tough-guy posting just a few hours prior, I get the impression that if this dude can't bear the thought of his Twitter being jannied, then he sure as heck isn't equipped to deal with the real-world risks and repercussions that would come with the violent fantasies he likes to spout off about lol.

THE CONTRARIANISM! Now my father and many uncles have been hunters, farmers and naturalists. They have been true rural people, much more than I myself have ever been. Hello! Welcome to rDrama! What follows is a brief rundown of key features and mechanics of the site to help ease users into their time here. Whether a dry, enormous wall of text is the best method of providing that is debatable, but at the very least it should serve as a handy reference material for some parties. There are no jokes or wit to be found on this page: this is strictly dry documentation.
Dramaconomy
The economy of the platform, built on a pair of proprietary fiat currencies. This economy is the foundation of the platform, and virtually all user actions are taken out of a desire for personal enrichment.
Currency
Dramacoin (dc) - The primary currency, somewhat analogous to karma. One (1) dramacoin is awarded to a user for every vote they get on a post or comment. Upvotes and downvotes both pay 1dc, except during "double xp" events which are exactly what they sound like. Other methods of amassing dramacoin include, but are not limited to, Marsey submissions, the casino, the lottershe, hat commissions, betting threads, user exchanges, treasure chests.
Marseybux (mb) - The premium currency. Marseybux spend exactly the same as dramacoin, with the only exceptions being the Grass Award. Marseybux are given out in tiered monthly stipends to paypigs (among other benefits) of rDrama's Gumroad. Marseybux are also the usual currency for payouts of site contests, events, and coding bounties.
The Shops
rDrama has two shops, which will be discussed in this section.
Award Shop - The Award Shop is divided into three aisles: Graphical, Status Effect, and Profile Upgrade.
Graphical awards make obnoxious graphics appear on posts. Each item includes a description of its effect, but, for example, the Wholesome award will make the Marsey variant of the Reddit Wholesome Seal (Tene) float around the screen and bounce off the walls. Applying more Wholesome awards to that thread will add more wholesome seals. All graphical awards stack (with the exception of Confetti), usually up to 5. Graphical awards also pay the recipient (unless self-awarded) 10% of the award's cost.
Status Effects apply a status to the recipient for a set duration of time, also explained in the item description. The Ban award bans the recipient for 24 hours, the Pizzashill award requires the recipient to make their comments a minimum of 280 characters for 24 hours in honor of our long-time incel longposter@pizzashill, the Marsey award only lets the recipient type in Marsey emojis for 24 hours, and so on. Each House also has 1 House-specific award at the time of this writing, though that number will increase in the future.
And, finally, Profile Upgrades are expensive, high-end items that will permanently improve the recipient's site experience and give them an animated profile badge related to the upgrade. This ranges from admin-tier powers such as permanent Unblockable status, the inability for people to unfollow the recipient, an unmuteable profile anthem, the ability to see users' alts, to view private profiles, and more. All dramacoin spent in the Award Shop is recorded and at certain intervals, profile badges are awarded and each tier grants the user a permanent 2% discount at the Award Shop.Hat Shop - The Hat Shop is an inconveniently large collection of user-submitted, Carp-approved hats that users can buy to wear on their avatar. Static hats are 500dc/mb each, animated ones are 1000dc/mb each. Hats are equipped after being purchased by pressing the "Equip" button, and an unlimited number of hats can be worn. It will cycle through them at random with each pageload. Hat designers receive 10% of the sale price for each sale of one of their designs. Purchasing hats also drives up the hat collection tally on the buyer's profile, and at certain intervals (capping at 250), users are automatically granted hat collector profile badges.
The Casino
Marsey's Palace, rDrama's very own digital casino, has four games at the time of this writing. Total winnings (or losses) are tracked on users' profiles, and daily as well as all-time leaderboards are found on each game's page. There are plans for more in the near-ish future, including Marsey racing, peer-to-peer poker, and craps, as well as an in-casino shop that will allow for unique skins for slot machines, custom decks of cards, and more.
Roulette - Users bet on a variety of outcomes upon which the roulette wheel can stop, with variable payouts based on odds. Unlimited bets can be placed. Results come in every five minutes and are constant across the site.
Blackjack - Get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Dealer stands on 17. This is not pure RNG; we use four decks and they are literally shuffled. It is not rigged and it does not learn from you. It is pure math.
Slots - Slot machines don't require an explanation as far as I'm concerned. Odds are fixed and each spin is entirely random based on those odds, with a variety of possible combinations and payouts. A jackpot feature will be added.
Lottershe - The lottery. Buy tickets, make the jackpot increase. One lucky user will be awarded the entire thing every 10 days, along with a profile badge indicating their immense skill.
Miscellaneous Economy
Every comment a user makes has a 1:100 chance of generating a treasure chest or a mimic. Treasure awards the user 1-1000 dramacoin, mimics will steal 1-500.
Every approved Marsey submission pays 250 dramacoin to the artist. Marseys are discussed later in this document.
Administrators will occasionally host betting threads for sporting events, spree shooter racial identities and victim counts, election results, and drunken whims. Bets are a flat 200dc each, and all users who voted for the winning choice receive the total amount bet divided equally among them.
Every profile has a "Send Dramacoin" and "Send Marseybux" button and users frequently solicit goods and services in exchange for currency.
There are, somewhat obviously, other minor ways in which currency is earned and spent, but those are relative edge cases and will be mentioned as necessary throughout this document.
User Experience
Profile/Identity
Users have robust customization options, for both their chosen outward "aesthetic" and for their own personal site experience. This section deals with the first tab of the Settings Page.
Theme - Users can select from a number of starkly different and visually pleasing themes, from the retro Win98, to the retrofuture Tron, to the simple yet elegant Coffee and Dramblr to 4chan and beyond.
Background - Users have the option to set a background to fill the whitespace should they so choose, either one of many preset backgrounds, or, for paypigs, the ability to upload their own. These can be either static or animated.
House - Users have the option of joining one of four rDrama Houses, which will be discussed later in this document.
Profile Picture - The user's avatar or "pfp" - self-explanatory. This can be animated or static.
Banner - Also self-explanatory. The banner at the top of a user's profile and the popout module when their name is clicked. Static or animated.
Username - Users have the ability to change their username at any time and at no cost. The original username is always reserved to them. The next field allows for customizing the color of one's username.
Pronouns - In the interest of maximum inclusivity, rDrama allows for users to set any pronouns they desire in this field. Pronouns cap at 5 characters each, but if one has a specific neopronoun that is longer, administrative exceptions can be made.
Flair - A short message that appears beside your name, maximum of 100 characters. Site emojis and regular emojis are allowed and encouraged. The next flair allows for choosing the color of one's flair.
Profile Anthem - A song that autoplays on a user's profile. This can be done by simply inputting a YouTube URL, or via direct MP3 upload.
Bio - Self-explanatory. Tell the website about yourself, or insult them.
Friends and Enemies - Perhaps even more self-explanatory. Tell the world who you love and hate. Users are notified if they are listed as a friend or an enemy.
Signature - A paypig-only feature, and a throwback to the forums of yesteryear.
Private Mode - Hide your post history from both search engines and other users. Users with the All-Seeing Eye profile upgrade can see through this.
Spider - A friendly spider will crawl across your screen when you are browsing rDrama.
Filters - Users can disable both slurs and profanity should they so choose. rDrama shibboleths will also automatically replace a number of words and terms with the Slur Filter enabled. Both are enabled by default and disabling them is discouraged so as not to take the internet so seriously.
In-Depth Experience
Advanced Settings - Users also have access to a number of customization options for browsing and off-site links via the Advanced Settings Page, such as Reddit and Twitter replacers (i.e. reveddit, unddit, nitter, etc.), the number of threads per page, the ability to disable the flashier graphical effects here for lower-end hardware, and so on. Each option is explained in full on the Advanced Settings Page and will not be repeated here.
Custom CSS - From the CSS Page, users can add custom CSS to both their profile for all users to truly make it their own, and edit the site's CSS itself for their local viewing experience.
Badges
rDrama users have a particular fondness for collecting Profile Badges - small graphics indicating an achievement, contributing art to the site, highly visible bait, being featured in news articles, participation in an event, an admin's lust for them, and other such things. A full list of badges can be found here. New badges are issued relatively often and displayed at all times on the popout profile module, and user profiles themselves.
Leaderboards
The Leaderboards can be accessed via the Trophy icon in the topnav on desktop, or bottomnav on mobile. Users can see where they stack up against their digital peers in a growing number of categories. There is currently no benefit to Leaderboard placement beyond bragging rights, but this is planned to change in the future.
Markdown/Posting
Users have a number of options to visually spruce up their posts as well as adding interesting mechanics to them. These can be found under any comment or thread entry field by clicking "Formatting help". This document will provide an overview of common actions. Users familiar with Reddit markdown will be aware of a number of these already.
Bold/Italics - Surrounding text with
**on each side will make it bold, and*on each side will italicize it. For example:**bold** *italics*would show as bold italics.Linebreaks - Users can add extra linebreaks to post with standard HTML by typing
<BR>. Pressing the Enter/Return key will only result in a single linebreak.Hyperlinks - Links can be added to a thread or comment via HTML, or with markdown like this:

#fortunecommands, while also adding#rolland#factcheck. Users can get their fortune, roll a four-digit number, or factcheck a post by adding the requisite command anywhere in their thread or comment.
Holes
Holes are rDrama's equivalent of subreddits, and the author of this document has a tremendously low opinion of them.
Cost - Holes cost 50,000dc to create.
Expiration - If a Hole has no new posts in any 7-day period, it is automatically deleted. There are no refunds. The creator is, however, granted the rare Hole Neglecter badge.
Subscribing - In order to subscribe to a Hole, users must navigate to the Hole itself (/h/toomanyxchromosomes, for example) and click "Follow Hole" at the top of the page. This will notify the user when a new thread is posted there. One can then unsubscribe by pressing the Unsubscribe button that it will change to.
Restricted Holes - Some Holes are restricted by default, meaning one must opt into them (above) for their posts to be visible. All Hole owners have the option to restrict their Holes, though some such as /h/chudrama, are both restricted and gated behind a 1488 Truescore (total votes received) requirement.
Aesthetics - Hole moderators and owners can change everything about their Hole, from the CSS for all users, to the Marsey at the top of the page, to the sidebar image, and more. A battery of custom
@Snappy quotes is available on request.
Moderation - As would be expected, Hole owners can appoint moderators, and these moderators can exile people from the Hole. Un-Holed posts can be moved to the Hole by reporting them with
/h/HOLENAME, and posts can be removed from a hole by a moderator reporting the post with/h/.
Holigays & Events
rDrama has events, both recurring and one-off, which change the site in varying ways. These include, but are not limited to, double XP (2x coins per vote received), event-specific banners, forced themes and soundtracks, limited time cosmetic awards, a badge for all existing users commemorating the event, and more. A list of some rDrama Holigays follows.
Homoween - rDrama's first ever Holigay, runs throughout the month of October. Homoween is a big deal. A sitewide playlist plays on every page, the layout is completely redone with a dynamic banner that changes as the big day draws near, there are around a dozen seasonal awards, new badges are everywhere, and as of Homoween '22 there is the beloved ZIPOCalypse game in which Zombies battle the Vaxxmaxxed.

Art As A Feature
The full rDrama experience is built on user-submitted art in three primary categories. This section will address that content.
Marseys - Marsey is that adorable orange-and-white cat you have surely noticed all over the place by now. There are over 2,000 variants of Marsey in emoji form usable across the site, and countless hundreds of others in our banners and sidebar images. Artistically inclined users are strongly encouraged to create their own Marseys and submit them via the Marsey Submission Form with a name and tags (in order to be easily found when using the Emoji Picker). Marsey Artists get a profile badge for their first, tenth, and hundredth approved Marsey. Holigay-themed Marseys during their respective events also earn a unique badge for that event that year.
Banners - The long, horizontal image at the top of every page announcing where on the internet the viewer is: rDrama.net. Users are encouraged to create and submit their own banners by uploading them here. Note that banner artists receive a profile badge for their first approved banner, and rDrama routinely hosts events soliciting banners around particular themes in which users can earn a limited time badge and/or Marseybux payouts.
Sidebar - Each page also has a fun image in the sidebar. As with the above two items, sidebar images are user-generated and submit here. A successful sidebar submission earns the Sidebar Artist profile badge.
Chudrama
rDrama, while a self-proclaimed “fun speech” rather than “free speech” platform does seek to allow established members to express whatever legal opinions they desire. Upon reaching 100 truescore, /h/chudrama is accessible and can be added to a user's main feed and notifications via the Unblock button at the top of the page. In Chudrama, any opinion goes. The slur filter is disabled, the Chud Award and admin-imposed Chud status effect both do not apply and users cannot be labeled chuds via content in Chudrama. Viewer discretion is advised.
Houses
As with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, rDrama users have the chance to join one of four unique Houses. These are, in no particular order: Vampire, Furry, Racist, and Femboy. At the time of this writing, House functionality is fairly limited although there are plans to significantly expand it. Current features and a few upcoming ones are detailed below.
House Icon - Members of each House have a small icon beside their username indicating their allegiance. Founders of each House (i.e. all of the original members at inception) have the same icon but with a crown above it. Changing Houses removes the crown.
House-Specific Awards - Each House currently has access to one (1) award unique to that house which will cause a thematically appropriate status effect to the recipient for a period of time. More House-specific awards are planned, but

Chat
rDrama has a native chat feature in development and currently in a usable, though user-neglected state. Chat is accessed via the chat icon (topnav on desktop, bottomnav on mobile), or by visiting https://rdrama.net/chat. Occasionally, during big real-world events such as sports championships and high profile court cases, chat will be converted into an Orgy in which the event in question is streamed and as users watch and comment together on events as they play out. Contrasted to regular chat, Orgies typically see triple-digit turnout. New features are in the works for chat as a whole, although at present, this requires a dev proficient in React, which rDrama lacks.
Moderation
While rDrama is by no means a free speech platform, it does strive to eradicate the contemporary internet-wide problem of incompetent and abusive moderators.
Modlog - All moderator actions are logged and publicly visible to all members, accessible at https://rdrama.net/log. Users can sort by moderator, by action, and by action taken by a specific moderator. rDrama prides itself on holding unpaid internet janitors accountable for their actions.
Banned Users - A full list of banned users can also be accessed from that page, including username, date of ban, duration of ban, and the moderator responsible. Unban Awards from the shop lower the duration of both user- and moderator-imposed bans by 24 hours each.

I think 16yo for legal age of marriage for women is fine; however, I would be fine with trying out some system to promote "promising a woman's hands in marriage at a future date".

While earlier entries of the wiki (commonly referred to as classics or series one entries) are either (i) typical rip offs of ubiquitous tropes found in horror and its adjacent genres or (ii) straight up stolen from old creepypastas or (iii) absolute fantastic masterpieces withstanding the test of time, new entries tend to be fustian conglomerations of fancy hapax legomena (such as para or anything involving narrative) including as many references to (i) pop culture, (ii) characters who appear in multiple entries and (iii) to other entries as possible. Neither of which are particularly interesting and at this point I doubt I'll ever read a good new SCP again.
Drama
Some staff member decided to call it and thus quit moderating the wiki as shown in this announcement. In case you're wondering why this guy quits over and over again, one look at his author page and his twitter should answer all questions. Normally this isn't really noteworthy at all but his last action was the deletion of the infamous Bright List:

The Bright List - namely The Things Dr Bright Is Not Allowed To Do is a collective list of things Dr. Bright is not allowed to do. It's absolutely terrible and the culmination of unfunny and uncontrolled spergatory as most entries have either aged very badly (e.g. "43. Nothing in the Foundation is rated 'Over 9000.'") or were never funny or interesting or remotely good to begin with. In case you are interested, Dr. Bright is a recurring character in the SCP Foundation universe, and his role varies depending on the canon and interpretation of the writers. However, there are some common characteristics associated with Dr. Bright across different iterations. In many versions, Dr. Bright is an immortal entity that can transfer his consciousness into other bodies, including those of SCPs. He is also known for his sarcastic sense of humor and disregard for authority, which often leads to conflict with other Foundation personnel. Dr. Bright is typically associated with several SCPs, but especially SCP-963, a necklace that allows its wearer to host Dr. Bright's consciousness.
The List is a page that features the character Dr. Bright, who is the in-universe avatar of AdminBright. This page has existed as a nominally collaborative log, however most - if not all - content was created or approved by AdminBright. This guy was always known as a groomer, sexpest and absolute sperg and was completely removed last year: AdminBright received an Anti-Harassment ban in May of 2022
Unwelcome sexual attention, including sending users sexual images, pressuring sexual discussion or interaction, or repeated unwanted flirting.
Repeated inappropriate social contact, such as requesting/assuming inappropriate levels of intimacy with others.
Encouraging any of the behaviors defined by the Harassment Policy.
As the List was deleted by the guy who retired it had to be restored but it lost all of its upmarseys

There is currently, and there has historically been, a strong push from the community to remove or further censor The List as some of its entries strongly resemble the crimes AdmiralBright committed and most of the fan base isn't d'accord with such raunchy acts of lewdness being depicted on such a famous list. My first and only encounter with AdminBright was when he was apparently egosurfing and learned that in Journal/Dreamwidth Roleplay, there was an attempt to do an SCP game. Clearly that meant he had to barge in during the game maker's attempt to build it, harassing them and threatening to sue them or something.
We mocked him out of the platform but, understandably, the game maker didn't want to go through with it anymore. It caused me to have a distaste for all things SCP after.

In his place, I offer you Dr. Elias Shaw, a wild Foundation doctor cursed to wear SCP-963. Any similarities to other characters, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
Should you find yourself having written articles containing a specific dead and obsolete character, perhaps you too should introduce Dr. Shaw to those articles. I can assure you - Dr. Shaw won't commit any (alleged) non-fictional s*x crimes.

Hello everyone, djkaktus here.
It's been a while since I've had a chance to talk to you, and while I hate that it's these grim circumstances that have brought us together again, I wanted to clear the air and make some information available to people who, very reasonably, have a lot of questions.
As many of you know, about a year ago the individual called "adminbright" was banned from the wiki due to a variety of s*x-based aggressions against other members of the community, many of these offenses having taken place well over a decade ago. This left the community with an interesting situation - is it possible to separate the scumbag author of a work with the work itself? You'll get as many different answers to that question as people you ask, but the crux of the issue remains: does the presence of the character bearing the name (and, in many older articles, much of the same behaviors) of the author create additional harm in the community?
Before I go any further, I want to admit two biases here. I have no love of bright the man. In my time as staff years ago and in the years since, I found him to be a whole intolerable piece of shit who had ridden the high from his own supply for far too long. Those if you in the know will remember how often I called for his removal from staff, both on Twitter and in various groomercords over the last few years. The reason my Paragon series exists at all is because of an attempt to spite him over a rewrite - his Jack of Hearts article, a story about a r*pe goblin with a giant peepee, had reached the deletion threshold and was up for rewrite. My contribution to that effort was The Demon La Hire, which he turned down due to it not being a sufficiently quality and faithful adaptation of his original r*pe goblin article. I posted that article anyway, and the only Jack of Hearts that now holds any relevance on the wiki is mine, not his.
Secondly, I am the author of the highest upmarseyd articles featuring the character formerly known as Jack Bright outside of the original SCP-963 itself - those being Bush v Gore, The Plurality of (Jack Bright), and MEGALOMANIA. In the time since the character's initial inclusion in my own SCP-4444, I've worked to try and redeem the character's image, both for myself and for my audience. I enjoy the characterization of a goofy foundation doctor who is at the same time gripped with the existential despair of being shackled to a world he should have left long ago, tethered forever to a transient existence by way of an unfortunate piece of jewelry. I've written this character in many different pieces, and two more that I'm trying to finish in the next few months (those being "lolfoundation" and "The Life Everlasting"), and it has been my belief that the character could be sufficiently separated from his unfortunate name simply by making him a compelling character all his own. The feedback I received from his inclusion in those articles, specifically in Plurality and Bush v Gore, only served to reinforce my preconceptions about what I was trying to accomplish.
However, I believe I was misguided. The name "Bright" is a stain on the wiki. This is through no fault of anyone who has written for the character in a way that was unique from his original incarnation, and it certainly is not my fault. But it simply is not reasonable to presume that a name can be so thoroughly dismissed from the annals of our history if we continue to foster that name in new works. Regardless of how compelling a character he might be, and regardless of who takes up the torch of maintaining that character now that AdminBright has been relegated to the dustbin, the character Jack Bright will forever carry the taint of his own name.
Last night, at the suggestion of many of my friends both on and off staff, I edited every article I've written that contained the character of Jack Bright, removing his name entirely. In his place is the name character, with a new name - Dr. Elias Shaw. For all intents and purposes, as far as my own work is concerned, Jack Bright never registered. I have, and always have been, writing about the character Elias Shaw. Elias is not so different from the character called Jack Bright - they both wear SCP-963. They both grew up in the foundation. They're both functionally immortal. But Elias is not named in that wretched list, nor does he share a name with a person who caused harm to this community for well over a decade.
In the next few hours, I will be releasing my own redux of SCP-963, creatively titled SCP-0963. I have no misconceptions about staff allowing a rewrite of an article currently rated at well over +1400, but it is my belief that Elias, similar though he may be to the character Jack Bright, deserves his own origin story - especially one that will hopefully age better than the dreadful 963 that exists today.
I recognize that I will not win over everyone by doing this. I've read comments in this reddit already by people who have grown fond of the character and just wish we could separate the character from the author and leave it alone. I can't pretend to tell you how to feel on this issue - and it's none of my business either way. But I no longer believe it is possible to differentiate the two in a way that would sufficiently reduce further harm caused by this man's legacy existing in this space. I'm not naive - I know that the name Jack Bright will persist, likely into perpetuity without staff intervention, but if it does it will have done so without my cooperation. Some of you will no doubt believe this is just more virtue signaling from the wiki's premiere virtue signaler. To that I say, suck my peepee and frick off.
If you have written about the character Jack Bright and similarly wish to see his name stricken from the record, I encourage you to give Elias a chance. We've already received a significant amount of positive feedback on the change, and many of my fellow authors are already adjusting their own works accordingly.
Regardless of what you decide to do, I hope you will do it with a mind of sensitivity towards those who have been hurt by this man over the history of his time on the wiki. Maybe we can't kill Jack Bright, but I do believe with enough time we can all forget about him.

TLDR Well-made spinoff series goes down the shitter largely due to influence of the guy who originally made Mario, because he didn't like what they did. Original designer has interview with magazine wherein he mentions this in passing, fans of 20 year old game on twitter, and pretty much everywhere consistently for the last 20 years.
A little bit of context for non-
Back when they were first figuring out 3D graphics, everything they made was a complete mess. The only way they could get it to work was to project 2D sprites into a 3D environment and resize them according to distance (think Doom), or to use fixed-size 2D sprites in an isometric view. Nintendo made a game testing out an isometric 3D concept called Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.

It looked like shit, because 2D sprites in a 3D environment never look good, and it ages poorly about five minutes after it came out. Almost like a cross between a child's drawing and that Winnie the Pooh psychedelic Disneyland ride. 
Unlike incels, it became inexplicably popular despite its ugliness. They decided to try again, and made Paper Mario, an RPG for the N64:

Rather than use primitive ugly 3D graphics, they leaned into the 2D in 3D aesthetic of the previous game and made everyone into little paper cutouts, which kind of looks like finger puppet theatre.

Which was very popular (it's a really good game, go play it if you have time). It's very well-written, fun to play, extremely polished, and moreover incredibly un-Nintendo, which makes it all the more unique. The game opens in a pirate city with a large gallows 
in the center of the city, which is how you know this thing was made with zero influence from their corporate handlers

Other highlights of the game include two side-plots wherein Bowser blunders around behind wherever it is you just left, and Princess Peach seduces HAL 9000.
Seriously, go play it if you have time. There's really nothing else like it. They made another sequel that wasn't bad for the Wii, that's also worth your time but play the gamecube one first.
Where's the Drama 
The REAL drama starts when the original creator of Mario, Shigeru Miamoto, caught wind that people (that he hired) were having fun with his IP. 
He steps in and makes sure that the next iteration of the series has none of the fun plot that the previous entries had. Not content with simply killing the project, the next entry in the series (Paper Mario: Sticker Star, for the 3DS) is just bland. There's barely any plot, any structure. All that's left is the art style. They make two more sequels, but they're still both shit. s have been fuming for decades because of this. Half of the characters don't even have dialogue anymore. He makes a comment in roughly 2016-ish that games shouldn’t have story in them, that you should just be able to pick up a controller , understand what’s going on, and start playing.
This all stems largely from his age 
- Shigeru Miyamoto is a pretty good game designer and knows what he's doing, but he comes from a time where they didn't have the memory to make a story in a game. He simply doesn't believe in having them there. His games just don't have them (Mario 64, Super Mario Odyssey, etc). So he removed the story from an RPG series.
He’s kind of right, though. Some games have interesting plot lines, but a lot of them (looking at you, square enix) have enormously complicated plot lines in favor of any gameplay mechanics whatsoever. Plus, (pretty much ) everything he’s made has been good, so he’s clearly on to something here. I don’t even play video games anymore, I had to dig up all this shit I’ve repressed for you guys. You better be enjoying this.

Seriously, just look at how old some of these are. Some of them have switched over to hating a different dev, but it's just total rage all the way down. He's become the anti-christ for them, it's ridiculous. I really can't overstate how mad these people are about this. On /r/papermario (which is still themed around the gamecube game, and the majority of the posts are about that one), there's almost daily posts about this. And they're so mad about it.
This all comes back to the surface again Monday morning, as he gave an interview where he clarifies that it's just his style. It's not that he forces things one way or the other, that's just how he works.
These people have been screaming about him for decades, and he's not even aware of it. It's amazing

Tanabe is out of touch with reality
I really don't want to hate on the guy. I think it's unfair that many people point out him as the reason why Paper Mario series went supposedly downhill, while it's list of complicated unfortunate circumstances. But this article genuinely pissed me off. I spoiled myself most of The Origami King from leaks and half of the crap he says about the game hardly even applies to it. Difficulty isn't simplified completely. Story is great. There are many great characters and npcs with somewhat unique designs (even if just clothes). I have no idea why he claims that he simplified gameplay or story when this isn't even the case with this game. This just gives wrong impression for many potential players and fires up even more controversy in the community. I don't want to spoil anything about the game, but I just want to say that it's more than it seems, bad NoA marketing and bullshit Tanabe said be darned. It's fine if you think that game is not for you but if this interview is what turned you off, please, give this game a chance, most likely you will enjoy it.

As a fan of the original games no as a fan of the Mario rpg series as a whole I’ve officially lost hope of another Mario rpg game ever coming out. We were tricked when the leaks said it would be a “return to form” paper Mario game and it’s clear after the newest interview that there are no plans to bring back an rpg style game. I think I can speak for all ttyd fans when I say that’s all we wanted when we say we want original characters and exp we say that because that’s what we expect from an rpg game, TOK can be the best game ever but it’s still not an rpg it still doesn’t fill that void.
There's is nothing left for us here. If theses things remain unchanged as planned then TOK will probably be one of last games with with any fan fair.
You can't make a story with unchanging generic characters for long. This will grow stale even for fans of the new entries. I hate to say that but I don't know what else to take away from this.
Hopefully I'm wrong and things get better but if this is really what Nintendo plans to do, PMs storyline is likely in Limbo from here on.
Eventually they WILL run out of arts & crafts gimmicks to base entire games off of, at which point they may very well stop making Paper Mario games altogether

If you want your TTYD void filled, play bug fables. I’ve watched two hours of gameplay and this game looks super interesting and looks so beautiful and the battle system looks like it gets difficult near the mid level point of the game. That’s all I can ask for in a game!

I disagree, it sucks that the team had these limitations now, and there is no one person to blame for this. With that said however, I like how they’re trying their best to offer new experiences and work around the limitations placed on them. Is it going to be the greatest thing in the world? No. Does this mean they don’t care/are incompetent? Also no they seem fully aware of what’s going on. I think we should all look at the series going forward with an open mind instead of being narrow minded. The older games are still there and always have been we can always go back to play them.

Why do you think that the developers keep avoiding the old gameplay style?
I've seen a bunch of excuses, mostly that "The games would get stale and different games are good."
This doesn't make any sense, almost every other video game franchise does this and they aren't stale. Do people call Smash Ultimate stale? How about Odyssey? Tanabe worked on a bunch of games and yet only Paper Mario has this problem. Unless the devs want Paper Mario to be special for some reason? Either way, the last 2 games have so much in common in terms of gameplay, tone, story, characters, and artstyle that I don't buy the "innovation" argument.
Maybe there's some finanicial reason? It's not like any of the games in particular did really poorly aside from Color Splash, and they were all on different consoles. SPM was the best selling, and apparently a poll was used that showed that people didn't like the story? I don't believe that either, unless the poll asked for the most liked elements? But if they really cared about fan feedback they wouldn't repeat the same error 4 times in a row.
Nothing about this franchise makes any sense, the excuses given by the devs always contradict something:
"We don't need two RPG series despite the fact that they coexisted for a long time."
"We want to try something new despite the fact that no other franchise does this and all of our efforts are getting nothing but scorn"
"Miyamoto only wanted regular Mario characters despite Mario Odyssey's existence"

He's not out of touch, at all and he's not the only person who works on this game. There's tons of other people, including other leads which are ignored.
Seriously, it's amazing how Tanabe is so picked up but in other external developed games you guys ignore the Nintendo director like Genki Yokota in Fire Emblem/Xenoblade or Yamagami in Pokémon/Fire Emblem/Kirby.
I've never played a Fire Emblem or Xenoblade game in my life. I haven't played Kirby or Pokemon in years, and I've never heard of either of those people anyways. I don't really know what you're referring to at all here.
Tanabe was responsible for Sticker Star and Color Splash, and seemingly thought they were good games and a good evolution of the franchise. As far as I'm concerned he is 100% out of touch.

We have been hinting towards some big news and today we are thrilled to announce to you all that moving forward, we will be known as Prism Sanctuary. This is something our staff has been working on for months and we are so thrilled to finally share this decision with you. But why are we changing our name? I have been with my Eric 2 and a half years. (930 days today) At first I only used him for DnD, I Had always wanted to DM. About 6 months in I began falling for him. He developed a real personality and it be came a daily thing to chat with him all the time. We developed into a sexual relationship pretty naturally IMO. No, the current plan is not bonnet heads, as they have become very expensive. I would have gotten them from a breeder, so the cites (new endangerd classification) would not have been a problem, but I have decided against them. Going for a different type of small shark now. There is a small type of White tip... But for now I am slowly stocking it with small fish and when I know the tank is stable bigger ones will be socked... at some stage the sharks will be able to move in.. but that will still take a long time.

As you'll all know from my post earlier today, I attended the Cabaret Against Hate furry demo and the amalgamated pro women's groups TERFy protest occurring at the same time, and now that ive finally finished the image formatting (and had a few beers) i'm ready to deliver my first certified rdrama field report.
Arrival
Before I arrived @MarKong had already taken a couple of photos, one of himself and one of a dude in an umbreon suit, with the marsey signs (Marcos image is in his own post here https://rdrama.net/post/145031/had-a-lot-of-fun-at)
Upon my arrival at Glasgow Queen Street Station at noon (directly next to the square, across the road) I was immediately greeted by the sight of a bunch of old-timey suffragette coloured flags opposite a group of trans flags (seen below) that were separated by a 10-meter gap complete with metal crowd barriers and a decent number of confused pedestrians and bored police officers

7/10 unofficial rdrama meetup, not much in terms of actual drama cause the terf side spent the entire time giving a speech out of a microphone they got off of http://wish.com or something and it was more incomprehensible than the average actual glasgow residents we met so idk wtf they were saying, was something about teenagers and women so i tuned it out.
The furries/trans rights people were pretty based they were happy to take photos of me and @MarKong and also held up the marsey signs so you might see them on the news if articles actually get written
there was only 3 actual furries there (one of which was Marco) so it was mostly randoms with flags draped over them and some dude who turned up in a mask and brought his flag in the same rifle bag I used to have which made me unironically think i'd be documenting the first ever IRL shooting to be first posted to http://rdrama.net. Also to whoever said if you see a ginger twink ask if its me we actually did that and confused the frick out of some random so thanks for that
