At some point in 2006, an unknown politician got the galaxy brained idea 
to NOT pay ESKOM their dues for supplying his specific city district in the Free State, electricity. The reason was simple - he was a politician trying to cater to his poor as dirt base, and came up with the idea that he would lower taxes under his specific regime, and the shortfall would be cut directly from the payments meant for ESKOM, out of his municipal annual budget.
After all, electricity was one of the rights protected and guaranteed by the National Government and even limitedly guaranteed by the SA constitution. ESKOM would never dare to cut off electricity for the poorest of black township dwellers, no matter how much they raved and raved. The idea was simple. Promise constituents lower taxes than could not be realistically expected, while still providing the minimally required civil services. Cut shortfall from ESKOM payments. ESKOM high command cannot disable electricity without accusations of human rights abuse against their own citizens. Politician who created this debt retires, and fricks off without a worry. Then it's the next fool's problem. No really.
The next election, a new smartass promises the same bullshit of low taxes or not having to pay electricity bills under their regime, and the ESKOM debt keeps ballooning. The political competition in these townships with morals and braincells, aka the ones who do NOT promise that the townships won't have to pay zero electrical bills, have no chance to be voted into that municipality's command. And the ESKOM budget keeps ballooning, over and over.
Finally 15 years later, the Free State having already struggled with electricity demands, is one of the worst of the 9 provinces stuck under National Loadshedding Catastrophe.
Who the originator was of this tactic is now shrouded in myth, because so many politicians in the Free State copied this election tactic, that it became a fricking norm by the end of 2006.
WITNESS THE HORROR SHOW:
In 2018 there was loadshedding before we truly had an understanding of it in the Tokologo and Nala municipalities. The two absolute worsts and most infamously corrupt municipal regions in the entire province. If the municipalities still failed to pay ESKOM, then from July 24 the power supply would be cut for 14 hours between 6am and 8pm. Basically ESKOM would have played hardball with the extremely indebted councils till they started paying what they owed.

The municipalities entered into an agreement with Eskom on June 25, a day before they were supposed to have power supply cut off due to non-payment.
They had to pay a certain amount of money at the end of June and again on July 13, but then reneged on these agreements and only made some of the payments at the end of June. According to Phasiwe, they completely omitted the payment on July 13.
“Since they failed to pay, we have to withdraw that product for that particular period we mentioned,” he said.
“Let’s put it this way, the only way for them to get themselves out of this situation is if they come with a huge sum of money,” he said. Tokologo municipality owes R30-million.
“If they come with R5-million, we will not buy their story because we have already seen they are not in a position to honour the agreement.”

The standing committee on public accounts (Scopa) on Wednesday was briefed by Eskom, the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, the South African Local Government Association and National Treasury to find out what efforts are being made to address escalating municipal debt owed to Eskom.
Eskom chairperson Jabu Mabuza told Scopa that since the last meeting with the committee in March, debt had risen to R13.88-billion. Eskom previously told the committee on public enterprises in April that debt stood at R13.5-billion.
Over 12 months during the year 2017/18, municipal debt swelled by 40% or R4.16-billion 
, said Eskom’s group executive of customer services Ayanda Noah.
The Free State, Mpumalanga and North West were among the worst offenders, while Gauteng and the Northern Cape also raised concern, according to Eskom’s submission to Parliament. The submission also revealed the top 10 defaulting municipalities.

2 - Matjhabeng in the Free State: This municipality owes Eskom R1.8-billion. It has over 49 000 Eskom customers and there is a draft payment arrangement.
3 - eMalahleni in Mpumalanga: This municipality owes Eskom R1.6-billion and has over 117 000 Eskom customers. There is a payment arrangement but it is not being adhered to. A court interdict is currently stopping Eskom from interrupting power.
4 - Ngwathe in the Free State: This municipality owes Eskom R936-million and does not have Eskom customers. There is a payment arrangement with the municipality which is being adhered to.
5 - Emfuleni in Gauteng: This municipality owes Eskom R606-million and has over 29 000 Eskom customers. There is a payment arrangement which is being adhered to.
6 - Govan Mbeki in Mpumalanga: This municipality owes Eskom R517-million and has over 6 600 Eskom customers. There is a payment arrangement but it is not being adhered to. The court will hear the matter on May 21 2018.
7 - Lekwa in Mpumalanga: This municipality owes Eskom R491-million and has over 6 400 Eskom customers. There is a payment arrangement but it is not being adhered to. There is a court interdict and customers have to pay Eskom directly.
8 - Thaba Chweu in Mpumalanga: This municipality owes Eskom R431-million and has over 61 300 Eskom customers. There is a payment arrangement but it is not being adhered to. There is currently a court interdict to prevent Eskom from interrupting power supply.
9 - Ditsobotla in the North West: This municipality owes Eskom R293-million and has over 43 000 Eskom customers. There is a payment arrangement but it is not being adhered to. There is a court interdict, ordering customers to pay Eskom directly.
10 - Naledi in the North West: This municipality owes Eskom R280-million and has over 17 500 Eskom customers. There is a payment arrangement but it is not being adhered to. The matter was set to go before the courts on May 16.
The point is these municipalities are SO CORRUPT, they make eskom look benign in comparison.

The unpaid debt began to become so vast by 2018, in both the Free State and country as a whole, that ESKOM, could no longer afford all of the costs associated with generating electricity, such as buying coal, paying drivers, and maintaining Power Stations.
And the worst part was that these corrupt leaches who dominated in the local governments for the ANC would fight ESKOM every step of the way to not pay their fricking debts, or even the interest upon their debts.

ESKOM WON DEBT COURT CASE IN 2020:
The tax money owed to ESKOM by these indebted municipalities had to be forced out of them every step of the way via courts and external forces. It's the height of corruption.
They tried to bring ESKOM to the court that ESKOM cannot shut down elec as that would influence human rights of township dwellers negatively, and that that was the basis for them not having to pay - I'm not joking. They had to go to the Supreme court to determine that there was no legal basis for not paying their fricking electricity bill - on a national level LMOA.
ESKOM even went to the South African constitutional court to make it legal that it should not be compelled to provide Elektricity for non paying municipalities.

The national Department of Water and Sanitation has acknowledged that Bloemwater has a budget shortfall of R377 million to address the maintenance backlog in Matjhabeng Local Municipality regarding water infrastructure.
In a written parliamentary reply to the Democratic Alliance (DA), the Minister of Water and Sanitation, Senzo Mchunu, indicated that Bloemwater has allocated R25,2 million for the maintenance of infrastructure, whilst it needs R402 million to address the maintenance backlog.

The DA calls on the Premier, Mxolisi Dukwana, to include in his State of the Province Address tomorrow some indication of how the Free State provincial government will work with the national government to urgently address this slippery slope to ensure that Matjhabeng is not forced into a full-scale crisis soon. Residents of Riebeeckstad were without water for 7 weeks 
recently and their water problems have still not completely been resolved.

Please think about the full context of events. This was not a woman simply bearing the brunt of online criticism. This was a woman being told that her existence is to take peepee whether she likes it or not. Is there anything more destructive to the human spirit than to be told that your suffering is meaningless and moves nobody?
THE AUTOPSY
The medical autopsy revealed that she died of asphyxiation. She had cocaine, marijuana, zoloft and xanax in her bloodstream at the time of her death.
What about the psychological autopsy? Well, that is for us to decide. In my opinion, this had absolutely nothing to do with cyberbullying. This was someone stuck in a cycle of trauma. From a young age, she had been taught that her value was her sexuality and that is what others want from her. She exists to be used and molested.
At no point in her life did she ever have sexual autonomy. Trauma had stripped that away from her. Ames' yes is a distorted yes, one forged of the ill intentions of men in her past. It comes out of her lips but it does not have her voice.
In 2017, she tried to break the cycle of trauma. This is an incredibly difficult task. In a very real sense, it requires self-annihilation and the ability to shed thinking patterns of the past. To move past trauma, you must be reborn. This avenue was taken from her publicly and spitefully. She was told that it is in fact not her right to say no. The cause of August Ames' death was a denial of sexual freedom. The pornstar was not sexually liberated.

You made it to another week, and to another essay post from the greatest of all rDrama Houses 
Lilith is a being from Hebrew mythology with a rather multilayered history. While it’s a bit of an oversimplification to just call her a vampire, Lilith’s mythology heavily overlaps with vampires in the way that demons and succubi overlap with vampires, and she has long been associated with blood sucking. 
EARLIEST LEGENDS:
As mentioned in my previous House Vampire post, most of the mythology associated with modern vampires originated in early modern south and eastern Europe. However, the idea of a blood or at least life force draining being of undead or demonic origin has independently emerged across cultures and time periods. Even the ancient Mesopotamians and pre-Jewish Israelites had mythological beings that can be retroactively thought of as vampire esque. 
Mesopotamia is a historic term for a region of the Middle East mostly encompassed by modern day Iraq and Syria. The history of the region is essentially a history of recorded civilization, as the fertile land between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers gave rise to some of the earliest known agricultural societies. The ancient Sumerians in particular represent the arguable start of continuous western history, and what I mean here is that actual Sumerian records have survived into the present day. Their language is still known and their mythological influences remain in literary studies. The same is true of their immediate successors; the Akkadians, the Babylonians, the Assyrians, etc. 
In other words, Sumer represents the start of when firsthand accounts of the past remain preserved and knowable into the present day. While agricultural civilizations may have existed before Sumer, and while there’s evidence for particular cultures going back into the Ice Age, anything before Mesopotamia’s time is only known through archaeology. We can only guess as to what those people thought of themselves. 
Though it’s disputed by mainstream academics, some believe Lilith’s earliest legends go back to Sumerian culture, which means we Vampires may be as old as society itself 
Samuel Noah Kramer, an academic on Sumer and Assyria, translated the ki-sikil-lil-la-ke as "Lilith" in Tablet XII of the Epic of Gilgamesh dated c. 600 BC. This part of the Epic involves a tree that is overtaken by a serpent and a spirit before Gilgamesh kills the serpent and causes the spirit to flee. The parallel to the Biblical garden of Eden is clear, though not all experts agree on a direct connection. 
At the very least, Sumerian culture produced the Edimmu, reanimated ghosts of the improperly buried who drained the life force of their victims. These beings are obviously reminiscent of vampires, but that may be a post for a later day. Sumerian and Akkadian mythology also has the Lilu as a kind of winged demon, with Lilitu as the feminine term. 
BABYLON AND THE ANCIENT HEBREWS
Though the Sumerian cities were eventually conquered and lost their political independence, the abstract culture remained relevant in the Middle East for several thousand years. The educated elite of the successor civilizations studied their mythology and language much in the way that medieval nobles would learn about Latin and Greco-Roman legends. Babylon was one such empire, and though they were only one of the Bronze Age powers to dominate the Fertile Crescent, Babylon became particularly infamous in history thanks to later biblical influence. People who have never even heard the word Mesopotamia still vaguely know the word Babylon, the very name now forever associated with the original Jewish diaspora and negative concepts like wickedness and apostasy.
Seriously, you could talk to a hundred people on the street and none of them would know anything about, say, Elam, or Assyria, or Mitanni, or what have you. But thanks to Judaism’s ultimate influence on western history, everyone knows about Babylon. 
Their ancient infamy has been forever preserved through biblical folklore, very much like Lilith herself.
Meanwhile, the ancient Israelites (Hebrews) were the group of people who — no points for guessing this — ultimately founded Judaism. 
Hebrew culture goes back even further than this though, with the earliest Israelites practicing the same polytheistic religion as the nearby Canaanites and Phoenicians. (Who eventually founded Rome’s best buddy Carthage) Scholarly consensus believes Yahweh was one of these many gods and that the Israelites gradually evolved into a monotheistic society by worshipping him over the others. The changing views on Baal illustrate this development; Baal was simply the northwestern semitic word for lord and was used in pre-Jewish times to refer to many different gods, even Yahweh. As Judaism became codified the word fell out of favor, and the Bible itself associates the word with paganism and false idolatry. Meanwhile and in contrast, the classical era Carthaginians continued to worship a distantly related Baal Hammon as their supreme god, entirely independent of Jewish influence. With the passage of time Hebrew mythology took a negative view on the Canaanite myths that contradicted their emerging religion, and it’s possible a similar hostility emerged towards the foreign influences of Babylon — that is, Hebrew folklore sought to associate Babylonian influence with sin and apostasy as a way of preserving their native culture in the face of imperial assimilation. In this way Babylon may have served as an indirect vector for Sumerian mythology to influence Judaism, but only in the sense that Jewish texts took entities like the lilitu and made them even more demonic and sinister 
Ancient Israel would have been exposed to Mesopotamian culture through the Babylonian conquest, but there’s no way to prove if Lilith is definitively connected to the Sumerian myths. In any case, Lilith appears unambiguously in several of the Hebrew texts that would go on to inspire the Bible. She appears once in the Hebrew Bible in prophecy regarding the Kingdom of Edom. There is also an either pre or post Jewish reference in the Arslan Tash tablets, though the exact authenticity of these artifacts is of endless debate. The Dead Sea Scrolls also make a definite reference, though it’s notably in plural. There are five references to Lilith in the Babylonian Talmud. The Midrash Rabbah collection contains two references to Lilith, the first a vague suggestion to a woman before Eve — similar to Lilith’s medieval depictions — and the second a direct reference. 
Assyriologist Eberhard Schrader (1875) and Moritz Abraham Levy (1855) suggest that Lilith was a demon of the night, known also by the Jewish exiles in Babylon. This would certainly be possible through Babylonian cultural influence. This view is challenged by some modern research such as by Judit M. Blair (2009) who considers that the context indicates unclean animals. Still, even this interpretation suggests an association between Lilith and impurity, not unlike the more early modern depictions of vampires and succubi as corrupters. 
It’s further worth noting that the Greek Old Testament translated the references into onocentaurs or satyrs. The Romans translated them into lamias, somewhat similar as child preying monsters, but also with snake tails. Some early English translations also preserved the references to lamias. 
MODERN LILITH
Even if she started as a type of demon, Lilith is most remembered as a singular entity from the Bible and so inevitably made the transition from Jewish to Christian European lore. I think this is notable because her influence mostly consisted of unofficial folklore rather than in Church approved canon. I doubt theologists debated her role in things the way they debated concepts like the Holy Trinity, and some translations of the Bible even turned her references into other creatures entirely. Still she persevered as a traditional Hebrew demon the more superstitious simply couldn’t manage to shake. Her further references in the Bible were probably written to invoke her existing infamy — in other words, her name was shorthand for sin and adultery/child killing just as Baal became short hand for false idolatry and paganism. 
Lilith survived in Mesopotamian folklore as late as the 6th Century AD. She features as a “type” of demon in Jewish occult incantation bowls made in the Sassanid controlled Middle East to protect households and their children. The Alphabet of Sirach, written in an Islamic country between the 8th-10th centuries, (exact date unknown) is one of the earliest works to mention Lilith as Adam’s first wife, the prevailing interpretation of her by the Middle Ages. This may represent a conflation of older ideas, as some Jewish texts mention a cryptic “first Eve” and Lilith was already a byword for sin. 
Indeed it was her appearances in fringe Jewish mysticism that established her connection to the biblical Eden, as opposed to mainstream church doctrine. The first medieval source to depict Adam and Lilith in full was the Midrash abkir, the figure reappearing centuries after the Middle Eastern references. Kabbalistic mysticism established a direct relationship between Lilith and God, and the Zohar and Treatise on the Left Emanation also mention connections to Adam, Cain, demons, and other mystic figures like Asmodeus and Samael. Some versions even preserved the plural Liliths, with a lesser one as Adam’s first wife and a greater one having always been a demon. 
Just like the more general vampires, Lilith achieved mainstream prominence in early modern Europe. Her being Adam’s first wife became widely popularized with the 17th century Lexicon Talmudicum of German Hebraist scholar Johannes Buxtorf. Lilith's earliest appearance in the literature of the Romantic period was in Goethe's 1808 work Faust: The First Part of the Tragedy. Paintings of Lilith became popular around the mid 19th century. The Victorian poet Robert Browning re-envisioned Lilith in his poem "Adam, Lilith, and Eve" published in 1883, notably focusing on her emotional attributes rather than her demonic reputation. Scottish author George MacDonald also wrote a fantasy novel entitled Lilith, first published in 1895. Many of the traditional characteristics are present in the author's depiction, long dark hair, pale skin, a hatred and fear of children and babies, and an obsession with gazing at herself in a mirror. MacDonald's Lilith also has vampiric qualities: she bites people and sucks their blood for sustenance. 
Today Lilith remains a popular figure in Wicca and other neo-pagan followings. Sympathetic portrayals generally have her as a human witch rather than a demon or vampire, though there are of course vampire centric stories that often invoke her. Some feminists see her as an icon, a woman who exercised free will rather than conforming to expectations. You’ll even see cringe 
types naming their kids after her.
To me Lilith is a fascinating concept because of how long lived her motif has become. Even if her origins are nebulous and subject to endless interpretation, I personally find it interesting that a legend could survive this long and create a kind of cross-cultural continuity to human history. It’s doubly intriguing that the character has survived largely through myth and folklore, never having been reinforced by actually mandated religious canon from an organized church.
There aren’t many other Bronze Age characters that still elicit an emotional reaction from people, as opposed to just purely clinical academic attention. 
AS A VAMPIRE:
As you may have gathered, Lilith isn’t just a vampire but there definitely are connections. There are arguably three different ways of looking at the concept, but all invoke vampiric traits. 
As demons, the lilitu were known for prowling in the night and could sometimes cause storms. (A trait shared by a few vampire variants like Strigoi with hail) These demons are said to possess wings, which I think is notable as this was many thousands of years before bats became associated with vampires. 
The Hebrew Lilith was sometimes a kind of demon and sometimes a specific individual, with the demonic Lilith possibly becoming one and the same with the concept of a previous Eve over time. As a demon Lilith was notable for blood sucking and child killing. The superstitious made prayers to keep Lilith away from their children. Lilith was also seen as a kind of succubi and was said to cause male, heh, “nocturnal emissions”. She could take the form of either men or women and seduce their partners. Children born to these arrangements would be cursed by her and eventually killed. The Alphabet of Sirach portrays her as hunting men for semen and blood, to create more demons and sustain her life force respectively. It’s possible Lilith in particular inspired the s*x appeal that modern vampires are often given, as she was portrayed this way by 19th century depictions around the time the concept of more human-like vampires was taking off. 
The biblical Lilith is an individual and is more of a demon or witch than a kind of creature, but she is still sometimes associated with blood sucking and the child killing that particular vampire types are known for. The 1950 Knox Bible outright translates her Old Testament references into “vampire”. 
IN POPULAR CULTURE:
In The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, the White Witch (the main antagonist of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe) is said to be a descendant of Lilith, referred to as Adam's first wife.
The character Leeloo in the movie The Fifth Element, a futuristic fantasy, turns the concept of Lilith on its head by saving humanity instead of devouring it. Leeloo is depicted as fair-skinned and with strawberry blonde hair, young and lithe, similar or identical to the romantic era paintings. Leeloo is represented as the original woman (first wife of Adam) and is born speaking the "Divine Language".
In the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion — a show that makes many references to Jewish mysticism — Lilith is a seed of life created by an alien race that ultimately created life on Earth instead of Adam, the intended seed. The antagonist Angels are the progeny of Adam, with the “Lilin” actually being the human race of the setting.
In Fall from Heaven, a semi-officially supported mod for the Firaxis game Civilization IV, the character Os-Gabella is heavily inspired by Lilith. She refused to be the wife of Nemed, a character inspired by the biblical Adam, and instead corrupted two of his later children into the first vampires. Os-Gabella comes to lead a civilization of demons, while her children go on to establish a kingdom of vampires with blood sucking as an actual 4X game mechanic.

, I've been thinking about doing a longpost on Prigozhin while he was still a semi-obscure screeching vatnik to score some of those 'not like other posters' 
points. Sadly, him becoming a household name literally overnight for trying to coup the Russian government kinda threw a wrench in that plan. So please pretend its still the 23rd 
while reading this. Anyways, here is Yevgeny Prigozhin- one of the most dramatic individuals of our generation.
Chapter 1: enthusiast
Our story begins in a commieblock in bootleg Helsinki (then Leningrad, now St. Petersburg) in 1961
. Prigozhin was born of Russoid mother 
and a jewish father 
, thus proving that God's chosen people can prosper anywhere
even in the frozen hellscape that is the Soviet Union! Sadly, his father died early and as such, young Prigozhin was mostly raised by step-father who had the (((same ethnic background))) as his real dad. Young Gozhin' often dreamed of becoming a cross-country skiier and luckily for him, his step father happened to be an instructor in the sport. He pursued this early dream of pooping on snowboarders by attending and graduating a prestigious athletics boarding school.
Chapter 2: Jail time bussyblasting

will tell you , you can't have your protagonist start from an OK-ish situation, you need to totally run him into the ground before you build him up. Unsurprisingly, this is what happened to our favourite alcoholic!
As it turns out, cross-country skiing didn't work out that well and our homeboy turned to a life of crime 
. When he was 18, Prigozhin was given a suspended 2-year sentence for stealing but that wasn't enough to deter our boyo. Just two years later he was caught again and sentenced to 12 years in prison, ending up serving 9. Not much is known about his life there but it seems he listened to the wrong Jordan Peterson audiobook! Here we have an eloquent gentleman telling us how he bunked in jail with Prigozhin, who apparently was a 'rooster' (prison slang for bottom bussyhole) and got a sloppy toppy 
from the big Gozhin himself!
Freshly released out of jail just as the Soviet Union was falling apart, it seems the Prigozhins fell on hard times

As such he ended up selling hot-dogs with his mum and stepfather in the flea market. That may have been the end of him but turns out Prigozhin's experience in handling wieners

Chapter 3: Business tycoon simulator

The details are a bit muddy in this area but what we know is that apparently the Russian hot-dog business was booming
. Prigozhin soon became the manager of the largest grocery store chain in St Petersburg which just happened to be founded by one of his old classmates from that boarding school sometime in the 90s. Things started snowballing from there on and Prigozhin decided to expand into the goombling 
business getting to own a bunch of casinos. Apparently, thats when he got to meet the chairman of the Russian board for casinos, a balding manlet who would end up playing a kinda big part in Russian politics

Aged 34, (1995) Prigozhin decided to give high end restaurants a try. Given that this was the most gourmet meal money could buy you in the Russian 90s its no surprise it was a hit.
His most successful one was New Island, a luxury restaurant built on a rusty butt ship Prigozhin probably bought for a carton of cigarettes and a BJ which he ended up blinging out. The afore-mentioned balding manlet 
was a big fan of it, going there a lot of times often inviting other kinda important people.

Another one of Prigozhin's ventures was the funding and creation of some online shitposting 
groups, the most notorious being the 'Internet research Agency'. Where (according to the New York times anyways) people would be paid pretty comfy wages just post what your average 4chan use would do FOR FREE 
. They fedposted so hard the company got indicted by the US for 'interfering' with the 2016 election and the FBI issued a warrant for Prigozhin's arrest. Not one to be intimidated by glorified bio-luminescent internet jannies, Prigozhin confessed that he did interfere with U.S. elections and that he will fricking do it again 
Chapter 5: Wagner- Humble Beginnings
Although throughout 2014-2021 Prigozhin denied involvement in Wagner, in 2022 he finally publicly came out as its leader and admitted he founded it all the way back in 2014. Like most shadow backed private military companies (PMC) 'Wagner Group' started out as a drunk band of vatniks lobbing explosives 
at civillian populated areas 
in Donbas back in 2015 as the Russian gov wanted a way to do so while maintaining plausible deniability . Its worth noting that group is run akin to an actual company, as mercenary groups are officially illegal in Russia. Funnily enough, Wagner is officially registered in St Petersburg as a 'management consultancy'.
They got their first big break in 2017 where they got a pretty lucrative contract with the Central African Republic
. Essentially, they would show their policemen which end of the rifle goes pew-pew at unarmed protesters 
and in exchange they would get mineral rights to various gold 
and diamond 
mines. They even got involved in Syria where they would support pro-Assad forces until they got absolutely btfod in 2018 by US forces using F15s
, Apaches and Reapers 
which ended up with the destruction an entire battalion of russoids 
Chapter 6: Shitposting in the 3 day Special Military Operation
After publicly stepping up as leader of Wagner in 2022, lets just say that Prigozhin has adopted a very'hands-on' management style and is very involved in the groups activities. He also trolls the shit out of everyone, whether its the Ukrainians

Could be propaganda but its still more than what the bunker manlet

So by 2008, white South Africans have started to realize that the ANC was there to stay, and despite the alarming incompetence, corruption and instant decay of every institution which they touched in the short span of merely a decade, the loyalty of ANC-wincucks, and the impoverished black masses voting them in repeatedly, seemed to be unwavering. There was virtually no scandal too egregious, no nepotism too over the line. No theft too grand.
The very moment the aged Mandela stepped down after just one term, it was like a house of falling cards. While the Mandela Administration was mostly competent, and Mandela himself had bucketloads of charisma - the fact remains that Nepotism started on day one, 1995. Many white liberals have nostalgia-goggles towards the Mandela Administration as being some uncorruptible benevolent rulers whom did absolutely nothing wrong, and that it was the intensely corrupt Thabo Mbeki who followed up Mandela in 1999 which led the doorway for statewide corruption in RSA.
The reality is that while Mandela himself was a stunning leader, he enabled large scale nationwide Nepotism for woefully unqualified individuals to obtain prominent and politically critical high positions of power, simply based on ANC party loyalties, and their rankings within the ANC rebellion's leadership. He had to placate many different ethnicities (like the competing Xhosas and Zulus who still held century long grudges), whom all wanted to have their political leaders at the helm of various government institutions. It is a reality that while Mandela steered a ship well, he also normalized nepotism on an unprecedented scale.
As we've seen with so many South American revolutions and counter-revolutions, it appears that charismatic revolutionaries don't always make for competent bureaucrats.
We've also seen the latest Turkey election in which many supporters continued to keep Erdogan in power, regardless of his corruption and poor state leadership. I was personally coping that his opponent Kemal would actually succeed to dethrone him, yet close is never enough. Hilariously it seems that many of the expats and immigrants from Western Europe were the ones responsible for tipping the scales into Erdogan's favour lmoa 
Still, in spite of the wingcuckery and 
voters for ANC, in 2008 a lot of South Africans still had large hope for the country - both whites and liberal blacks who were also unhappy with the corruption displayed by the ANC post-Mandela. The rand was still going strong-ish and petrol was cheap.
In 2008, former members of the African National Congress (ANC), would meet in Bloemfontein and founded "The Congress of the People" (COPE). They were sick of the internal division and squabbles between ANC high membership and wanted to establish a competing party.
There was a lot of unironic hopefulness in this venture, as very high ranking ANC members like Mosiuoa Lekota, Mbhazima Shilowa and Mluleki George, were breaking line with the mainstream ANC leadership. These weren't just nobodies, there actually was a chance to form a core of opposition against the ANC, as a viable alternative party! Liberal journos were hyping up this shit! 
It's important for foreigners to understand the RSA voting makeup for the past, to get an idea as to what Saffer r-slurs believed the COPE party could help change. The ANC basically dominated 1990 - 2010 undisturbed with 60-70% of the national total votes. So they were completely untouchable. It's also this dominance which gave them the arrogance to rule as corrupt as they pleased, because they knew they had zero competition, and no capacity for the opposition parties to ever realistically overtake in either National or Provincial governments. You guys know the saying: if you don't have to compete, you don't have to care.

I show these to demonstrate how untouchable the ANC seemed to be. And how frustrated white liberals were with the passive compliance black peeps had to just give over districts to corrupt local governments no matter how crushingly bad they were run. But these liberals and other whitoids didn't understand the mindset that many of these Post-Apartheid people had been through. Even though mandela had left, the ANC would always be his party - the party of men like him and Steve Biko and other black rights activists jailed by the NP regime, yet still defiantly stood up for the rights of SA blacks everywhere!
They had an undying loyalty to the ANC as a symbol of their freedom, and the democratization of the country, not the leaders in the party themselves. White liberals could not bridge the gape between black peeps, and since they had not always obtained good services under the Apartheid regime anyway, the collapse of infrastructure was inconsiquential to blacks. Further more there was a spitefulness from much of the black voters towards whites, both for Apartheid and the wealth-inequality between the races. For many RSA blacks, whenever the whites and journ*lists screamed and squealed in the news about the destruction of infrastructure like potholes in roads, they would be happy about it. Their black leaders were turning the screw on these slimy whites whom had stolen so much land from them - this was justice for apartheid.
It was only fair that whites had their turn for suffering and their undeserved wealth and closed off suburbs undermined through structural degradation right? Well this mentality would be the ultimate self-destruction. It was the best example of cutting off your nose to spite your face. Or eating shit to have others smell your rancid breath,
Because most of these long term corruption-related infrastructural corrosion would tragically affect blacks disproportionally badly. Water system, pumps, water pipes and sewage recycling refineries would for example, be many of the services just absolutely collapsing under the rule of people who literally didn't even have a highschool education. When retired Chemical engineers in the Free State province offered their services to the new black managers, to teach them how to proportion the chloor and other chemicals when treating the human biomatter (shit), so that clean water may be recycled in in the Free State where there are very arid semi-desert regions. Instead, the arrogance and bitterness of these blacks in new positions of power genuinely sincerely refused help, and though that they would be diminished if they accepted the help of white men whom had ruled over them scarcely 15 years prior. They knew better and wanted to contrarianly show whites who were in charge.
I am not making this up, my uncle has been a chemical engineer for 40 years, and his works are lost on upper management whenever he had to inspect the perpetually failing Sewage and water pipes infrastructures within the Free State. It is neglect on such a vast scale, that 1st worlders I feel have a hard time understanding how corruption and incompetence can so completely bring a state to its knees.

In the Black townships, electricity, water pipes and roads degraded just as fast as that of their white peers, and thus the continual wingcuckery, blind loyalty, or just spite voting against whites affected them just as severe when national infrasctucture started to break down from 10 years of neglect.
Still after 12 years of ANC bullshit, even other ANC members were in upheaval and rebellion, and thus COPE became a very hyped symbol of hope and change. The DP (Democratic Party) in 1999 is the same group as the DA (Democratic Alliance), they just changed their name when they absorbed other COPE members. in 1999 alliances had not yet been solidified in the 2nd democratic election of South Africa, and a bunch of mismash junk parties occupied the opposition against the ANC, all of them way too ideologically different to ever be able to form a functioning alliance.
By 2004 the DA had established themselves as the most potent opposition against the ANC in terms of organization, yet they were still way too proportionally voted by whites. By 2004 the DA also started to become very coloured and Indian dominated because even though the new government mandated affirmative action - so that previiously impoverished and discriminated against peoples, would have the ability climb up the social and economic latter against previously white dominated occupations.
Initially coloureds and indians were very optimistic with BEE (Black Economic Empowerment) the government mandated affirmative action, but they soon realized that BEE just that, specifically BLACK economic empowerment:

The idea is you cannot hire a race lower on the scorecard, if someone higher than the scorecard applies for the same job, to force businesses to help alleviate black from dire poverty Post-Apartheid. It is important to note there was good sincere intentions in this policy, there was realistic fear that white businesses would refuse to ever hire blacks, resulting in perpetual economic class divide. But like all good intentions, the road to heck is paved towards them.

Indians and coloureds were enraged by this. They had believed that the BEE policy would only be temporary to get blacks up on their feet, and that after the 1st Mandela term, it would equalize. Yet the opposite happened. BEE became permanent, and much more strict, and much less favorable towards coloureds.
The coloureds in Cape Town felt extremely alienated towards there black countrymen, and even today coloureds can make Afrikaner racists seem like toddlers in comparison with their extreme contempt towards black peeps. They very culturally different, even though blacks and coloureds shared in their misery beneath Apartheid.
There became a common sentiment - namely they were too brown for NP Afrikaners, yet today they are too white for the ANC. By the end of 2010, Coloureds would become the prime occupants of the Democratic Alliance political party.

To demonstrate that I'm not talking out of my butt whenever I call Zulus the most conservative and rightwing ethnic group in RSA, here was one of their most prominent parties in the 2004 election: the IFP ( Inkatha Freedom Party).
They pretty much didn't like the government interfering with their cultural and communal land, they wanted much more autonomy, and were pretty nationalist for a Zulu dominated cultural KwaZulu-Natal. They weren't Serbian levels or nationalist or mouthfoaming, but they made it clear they wanted nothing to do with the left wing and socialists policies on their home turf. They would find minor success from 2000-2010, but as you guys can see they never amounted to more than 10% of the national vote. They would however stay a dominant contender for the KwaZulu-Natal provincial leadership.
The rest of the parties were trash and useless, and would not survive concurrent election cycles. Thus it was with great hope that the DA would be able to form a worthy alliance with COPE, to obtain the critical black votes which made a dominant share under the national election.
Also by the way, on an irrelevant tangent: notice this party lmoa. If I'm stretching definitions like a slinky then I would define the VF (Vryheids Front) [translated: Freedom Front} as a right wing party, similar as to the Yank republican parties (but there are decisive differences, like RSA people don't think abortion is as bad as yanks is - there are debates but its mostly a non issue and would be supported by RSA whites and VF members if they were magically teleported into burgerland; they'd be mostly pro-abortion or lukewarm at worst)
This party is basically the feeble remainder of all the White afrikaans boomers who vote for it, it still exists today lmoa.
Most whites, even hard right wingers and conservatives vote for the DA (Democratic Alliance). They are still very liberal, even though they are not as left wing as the ANC, I would still describe them as the closest we have to Yank democrats, but they differ from burger democrats decisively also, by for example, strongly supporting the nationalization of all RSA mines and mineral deposits.
Imagine a bunch of turbo racist afrikaner boomers voting for Left wing Liberal DA, simply because they were least worst option in the whitoid eyes. Talk about being politically turbo cucked lmoa 
Anyways I hope I succeeded in establishing the 2008/2009 political stage for foreigners to understand, and why the establishment of COPE, and the mutiny of high grade ANC officials into the COPE party, gave white liberals and journocucks a lot of hope that the ANC stalemate and deadlock could be broken.
Even if the COPE and possible future COPE-DA alliance would still never reach an unlikely 50% startegic vote, their larger presence in parliament would allow them to block much of the ANCs bullshit, and force them to enact laws counter to their corruption.
THE MUTINY!
The reality of the schism between ANC party members were actually inglorious. The main COPE mutineers didn't in reality object to the destructive corruption of the ANC, instead it was an internal power struggle for the two mainstream ANC factions aligned with current president ThaboMbeki and the soon to be future president Jacob Zuma.
In 2007, the ANC would hold their 52nd anneversasy national conference at Polokwane Limpopo. The conference resulted in the election of Jacob Zuma and his supporters, ahead of Thabo Mbeki and his supporters, to the ANC's governing body, the National Executive Committee. Zuma was elected ANC president ahead of Mbeki.
Mbeki and his faction wanted to pursue more neoliberal policies and imitate China whim had obtained great coming success in that period by relaxing their absolute state control on all their economy so that their businesses would trade profitably oversees. Jacob Zuma however were far left populists, and wanted to conduct other social policies. Zuma also wanted to give more power to public unions and have the ANC work with the RSA Communist Party. The two inner factions erupted after this vote, where Zuma became the victor.
Additionally there was high levels of ethnic tension between Zuma and Mbeki ,because they each represented an almost avatar of their respective peoples. Zuma was a Zulu, and Mbeki was a Xhosa.

Even a hundred years later the Xhosas have not forgiven the Zulus for displacing them from much of their homeland and basically genociding half of them out of existence. Similar to Yugoslavia having kept the lid of the kettle intact, so too did the oppression of the white Apartheid regime keep the two groups mostly out of each other's hair and spaces, because if ethic tensions or race riots ever evolved during the Aprtheid years, then the NP police would crack down brutally and suppress any rioting or fighting. This wasn't because the afrikaner police and military were being angels or the good guys or anything; they just suppressed any civil discontent that threatoned to destabilize the nation.
In the same way that drama can evolve out of hearsay, so too did the notion amongst Xhosas become loud that their Zulus peers were once again up to no good and wanted to dominate them politically, in the same way that the Serbs had wanted to dominate the rest of the groups into a greater Serbia, before Yugoslavia collapsed into racial civil war.
Now I'm not suggesting the ethnic tensions were anything remotely as bad as the Balkans, there were no murders or fighting like that. But that groomercord had swept between Xhosas and Zulus, with the leadup to Zuma's election as President of the ANC during the 52nd ANC conference.
Xhosas felt content when Mandela and Mbeki ruled the country, now with Zuma, it's like they exchanged the Apartheid whites for a fricking Zulu to rule over them!! The ethnic tensions could be cut with a knife, and a lot of 
followed.
Meanwhile the idiot whitoids and journocucks didn't grasp the full reason for this mutiny, and creation of COPE, was because of internal division, instead of protestations against a new era of hope and butterflies

Q: Jacob Zuma sometimes threatens to "out" people who he hints were more involved in alleged arms deal-related corruption than he, but so far he has not actually exposed them. He has been criticised for this. You have accused the ANC of keeping silent while you wrongly went to jail. Is there any reason why you cannot out them now?
A: There will come a time when I mention the names of people who did profit from the money that came in 1988 when the UDF was banned, the money I went to jail for. The people who received that money, high up in the ANC know that. Zuma is threatening that if you take him to court, he will expose them. I am not doing that. I have been to prison. I cannot threaten anyone and I only raise it because it is a matter of honour and integrity. I am not using this as a stick to beat anyone to try to escape from appearing in court like Zuma.
Q: Analysts suggest that Cope is losing popularity because of the mixed messages you give on affirmative action and coalitions?
A: In the beginning maybe when Cope was trying to formulate policy - but now we are clear about affirmative action and coalitions and people are beginning to understand it more and more. On the issue of coalitions Dr Dandala came out clearly. My experience is that Cope is increasing in popularity on the ground - our popularity far outstrips our capacity to meet those expectations.
ELECTION TIME!
And COPE basically comes out in a wet fart. A paltry 7% 
Unfortunately for everyone the hype train derailed pretty fricking abysmally. COPE proved that small fringe parties, even with charismatic leaders didn't stand a chance, and that people generally vote for the save option, rather than a radical party with less likely chance to get elected.
And uhh that's it. The hype died, and the current stalemate between ANC, EFF and DA is what RSA would look like for the next 15 years. Political nilists would basically give up any hope to invigorate the black population of RSA to hold their leaders accountable for corruption.
2009 not just ended with Jacob Zuma being elected, the corrupt to be president in the History of SA, but it also showed how RSA would remain for the next decade.

No one's actually explained the depths of how r-slurred this guy and his company are, so I thought I'd take some time out of my actual engineering job while I'm sitting in a boring butt zoom meeting to properly call this guy a fricking r-slur, so you can all find this just as funny as I do. I thought you all might appreciate it a little more than just some sporadic tweets about the DEI shit he did. This is going to be like a Challenger-style breakdown and what exactly went wrong so you can appreciate this frick-up.
There's gonna be a lot of naval puns in this so bear with me here. A lot of this is coming from my friend, also an engineer, who's done more research into this than I have.
In the Boatginning
Dramatards, I'd like to introduce you to Stockton Rush. Owner of the the most startup founder-ish name in history, this guy has been making janky submarines his entire life. He got his start in the aerospace industry, as a test engineer on the F-15 with McDonnell-Douglass. Anyone familiar with the industry will note that experience with McDonnell-Douglass is not necessarily a good thing on your resume.
He's made a career out of building submarines that are cheaper and more accessible to the general population, and his company, OceanGate, has had a few successful designs. What's notable about his history, however, is that he's made them cheaper largely by bypassing safety standards. His first submarine that they operated was called Antipodes, was a refit sub built by a different company. Originally intended for research purposes, they used it instead for tourist dives.
The first actual submarine they built was the Cyclops 1, a carbon-fiber (we'll come back to this part) submarine controlled using a PlayStation controller, with an operational depth of 500m. The submarine is deployed/recovered from some weird floating drydock concept, which crucially allows them to not use human rated cranes to recover the submarine.
After seeing some moderate success, he's gone and built the submarine in question, the Titan, which is built from a composite carbon-fiber and titanium. They bought the hull from a company called Spencer Composites, who intended it to be SINGLE USE. The submarine was built to a factor-of-safety (multiple of how much of the expected load you can withstand before it breaks) of 2.25 (which is frick-all, especially for a submarine - should be at least 6, probably more like 10). . A lot of journ*lists who went on board the thing noted that most of the parts on the interior were sourced from local hardware stores, as were the ballast tanks. They were not, as you could imagine, comfortable about being on board once they realized this.

Anyone who has worked on an engineering project before knows that any engineer with less than 2 years of practical experience is a massive drain on the project and need to be babysat constantly, ESPECIALLY if they might kill someone. They're usually worth investing in because they'll give you a great return in the long run, but boy are those first couple of years hard.

This is going to go a long way to explain why what happened did happen, so buckle up.
Frick-up #1: Carboat-Fiber
Let's talk materials for a second. Carbon-fiber is what's called a composite material, because it's made from a couple of different types of material. You have the carbon fibers themselves, which are really resistant to being stretched in-plane (like pulling apart a sheet of paper), but have very little strength out of plane (like poking a hole in paper) or off-axis (they're woven into almost a cloth, if you pull at a 60 degree angle to that weave, they lose 80% of their strength).
Carbon fibers are usually set in place with solidified plastics, like epoxy. It solves a lot of problems as far as directional strength goes, but you still need to be careful with it. In a specific configuration, it has similar material properties to a common aerospace aluminium alloy (T-6061), while being a fraction of the weight. Great for airplanes and race cars, where mass is a factor.
Steel is the best material, and the only reason you use anything else is either because you don't want it to rust, or because you can't use steel. It's cheap, strong, and (crucially) it can be stressed over and over again without building up stress fractures. If you keep it under a certain limit, it will never break. NO OTHER MATERIAL DOES THIS.
This makes ideal for something that you're going to put under pressure, and then remove it from that pressure, over and over and over again, in a scenario where weight isn't a factor. Like, say, a submarine.
Stockton Rush, however, is way too cool for steel 
. He has instead decided to build his submarine out of the super cool airplane material, without understanding why its there in the first place. Composite materials are generally vulnerable to snapping if they're loaded repeatedly, which is why the company that built this refused to endorse it after finding out it was going to be used like it was.
It's never been used on submarines before, and with really good reason. It's not just not an optimal choice, it's literally the worst one possible. From the Business Insider article:
The Titan sub was never checked to see if it was up to standard because of its "innovation," OceanGate said in 2019. The sub features a carbon fiber hull that had never been used on submersibles before, according to the "Unsung Science" podcast.
Rush managed to bypass safety standards yet again by using completely different materials and then claiming that the standards aren't relevant. They make you sign a massive waiver when you sign up. No one has actually checked if this thing is safe. There's no standard it's being held to, there's no regulation, no third-party review. No matter how good you are, you can always frick up. Their cavalier attitude towards safety has now probably killed the CEO and four other people.

Frick-up #2: Electronixed
So this is an interesting note that I found is that the submarine has no onboard navigational system,. Yes, you read that correctly. They operate it by having a different ship monitor its position, and then send it text messages telling it where it is.
These people are all going to die
That's part of the reason they can't find it, is because the submarine doesn't know where it is, and can't tell anyone even if it did. It even failed before, and they still didn't fix it. That's not just stupid, it's criminally negligent.
The controls of this thing consist of a single button, and is piloted by a PlayStation controller. I'll point out that the idea of using a gamepad as a submarine helm control is not necessarily a bad one, and was actually implemented by USN submariners to great success. It's intuitive to zoomer helmsmen, really easy to teach, and was actually a way better control scheme than what they were using before. That being said, USN submarines are extremely well designed, very redundant, and extremely well-built. This stupid thing has none of that.
Because of the lack of navigation and emergency beacon, these people are very likely going to die, and it's going to be very unpleasant. It's really hard to find submarines even when they want to be found, and there's still no means of even rescuing these people even if they're found. They've got anti-submarine-warfare aircraft searching and everything, but still nothing.
Frick-up #3: Oxy-Constants
I can't think of a good pun for this. There's no real good source on this that I've seen because it's kind of an obscure problem, but they also fricked up the gas lines on the ship.
When maintaining an atmosphere for people to breathe, you have to be pretty careful with the gas composition. You need gas cyclers to remove CO2 buildup, and replace it with oxygen. Nitrogen doesn't need to be replaced because it's not consumed. This is standard on airplanes, submarines, spacecraft, anything sealed. Failure to do this was infamously the cause of the Apollo 1 disaster, where a pure, high-pressure oxygen atmosphere caused a dramatic fire when some nylon started to overheat.
Can you guess what OceanGate have done?
That's right, they've been injecting pure oxygen into the cabin, with untested electronics on board.
Jesus Christ, guys. You get so many startup CEOs bitching about safety standards, and every now and then when they push the limits, we all get a very public reminder of why they're there in the first place. And it usually costs the lives of people who were tricked into getting onto that stupid butt vehicle in the first place.

When comparing the dog and wolf, it is worthwhile to ask which one regularly harms humans. In the past century, there have been two fatal wolf attacks on humans in North America. In contrast, dogs have caused 279 human deaths between 1979 and 1994 in the USA alone. Dogs savage humans far more than wolves, yet it is the dog that is treated as the kind one. It hides behind the innocence of its appearance. The dog is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
A Man's Best Friend
“A Diamond is Forever” is a marketing slogan used by De Beers for decades to sell precious minerals. As De Beers summarises, the phrase “encapsulates the security and eternal romance that comes with owning a diamond and it marks the sentiment of responsibility and commitment between two people”. With four words, De Beers has been able to permanently entangle the concept of love with diamonds.
As many are well aware, the value of diamonds is artificial, and there is no real connection between diamonds and love. Buying a diamond for your spouse does not demonstrate your love, nor does it guarantee that the love will last forever. Nevertheless, through the power of marketing, the phrase persists as a truism that continues to influence society in drastic ways.
The modern man thinks of himself as quite clever to see through the trickery of the slogan “a diamond is forever”. However, the general public remains mostly accepting of a similarly baseless truism – “a dog is a man’s best friend”. It is an easy belief to accept, as humans have been living alongside dogs for centuries. When the phrase is used by the pet industry, it denotes something entirely different. It is meant to imply that dogs are a part of the family; that they go beyond working animals and can live beside our young and in our homes. It implies that dogs can be integrated into all aspects of human life.
There is a marked attempt to keep this big lie alive, and the drive is particularly strong in the West. Once one notices it, it is impossible to not notice it any longer. Time and time again, dogs are portrayed as loving, loyal animals. In popular media, it is not uncommon for dogs to be heroic characters strategically used to garner sympathy from the audience. Paw Patrol, Marley & Me, Bolt, Eight Below, the list goes on. Sickeningly, the majority of these films are marketed towards children, who are primary victims of dog attacks.
Pray tell, what kind of friend sends at least a thousand Americans to the emergency room daily? Is it acceptable for friends to attack 4.7 million Americans yearly? Do friends maul your offspring unprovoked out of jealousy?
Let us compare the dog to other common suburban pets. Dogs bite, disfigure, and kill our young daily, yet we feed and house them. Far from being friends, they are ungrateful, contemptuous creatures that have waged war against us for centuries:
No other pets pose these risks to us. No other pet will attack half the population, target children, and fill up hospitals daily. Cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, none of these pets popular in residential areas maul children. Only one animal does this. Dogs are not man’s best friend. Compared to the rest of our animal companions, they are man's worst enemy.
Bite the hand that feeds you
As part of the dog propaganda machine, there has been a concerted effort to conceal the dog bite epidemic. So strong is the dog propaganda machine that children, the primary victims of dogs, are the demographic most likely to desire one in their home. Children are not born loving dogs – this is the product of years of Courage the Cowardly Dog, Scooby Doo, and the rest of the dog propaganda that has normalized the idea of dogs in the home. With these propaganda pieces, dogs are anthropomorphised and given human voices and emotions, convincing children that dogs are something other than bestial predators with high predatory drives. These beliefs are carried into adulthood, and by that time they have been held for so long that they are seldom questioned.
However, much like one stepping out from an ultra-religious family or an extremist political movement, once one recognises the glaring flaws of one’s beliefs, slowly but surely, a sense of shame creeps in as one realises what a ridiculous meme one had been a victim of. To unstick oneself from the dogist meme, there are few cowtools more powerful than raw numbers. When attempting to portray dogs as harmless, dogists will often focus on a single statistic – deaths. Dogs are responsible for about 30-50 deaths in the USA yearly. The argument made is that this is a relatively small number, and that such anomalies can be prevented by practicing dog safety.
Firstly, it should be noted that the majority of the deaths are children. This cannot be ignored, nor can it be understated. Dog victims are almost always children. Secondly, contrary to popular belief, most dog attacks are unprovoked. In many cases, the victim is not even aware that the dog is around. Alternatively, what is considered “provocation” is regular human behaviour, such as a baby crying or squealing, or a child running, or, heaven forbid, walking near the dog while it is eating.
Most importantly, focusing on deaths allows dogists to ignore the terrible non-fatal effects of dog attacks, including disfigurements, psychological trauma, and lifelong injuries that leave victims disabled. There is also a high pathogenic risk that comes from dogs, as they are the primary transmitters of rabies to humans. One in five dog bites become infected.
So how many people are bitten by dogs? It is impossible to know. A survey done in Pennsylvania revealed that the rate of dog bites was 36 times higher than what was reported to authorities. It’s in a dog owner’s best interest to not report dog bites and to try their best to not visit a hospital to treat wounds, especially in USA where healthcare costs are exorbitant. Consequently, dogs continually bite the hand that feeds them, and the true statistics are never captured.
The question sincere dogists are always left asking after their dog attacks is why? After being fed and treated well its entire life, why would the dog suddenly snap? The answer, more often than not, is predatory drift. Regardless of how much training a dog has, it is still liable to predatory drift. This cannot be trained out of a dog because it is part of its core instincts it inherited from wolves. You cannot predict when it will happen, and even the most loving dog can go into predatory drift:
Dogs will be dogs.
Protect and Serve
Of all dogs, it is the police dog that is treated with the most nobility. They’re viewed as heroic, selfless, disciplined, and brave. To interfere with them is a crime, and they receive respect almost on par with their human counterparts.
Police dogs should be abolished immediately. Setting an animal on a human being is unnecessarily degrading and inhumane, and it should not be a routine form of aggression used by law enforcement. It is essentially turning the other person into the prey of a dog. In those moments, the victim is less than a dog, and they are brutalized in an animalistic manner. This barbaric use of dogs is done specifically to degrade the victim and strip them of their dignity, and such tactics are cruel and unusual and have no place in law enforcement. Cops should not get to set dogs on unarmed, non-violent crimes. A dog bite from a German Shepherd results in lifelong disfigurements and permanent injuries. This is a disproportional response.
Police are not training cats to do this. Nor are they training pigs, goats, or donkeys. Just dogs. They are uniquely suited for the task of human torture. They have no sense of right and wrong, and they easily are taught to attack innocent, helpless individuals.
Look into your heart and tell me that is a proportional response to a homeless person sleeping in a post office. They also attack innocent people, because dogs cannot understand human affairs and discern between suspects and innocent people.
Frank Baker, a Black man, was not suspected of any crime when he was brutally attacked by a police dog in 2016 while a cop kicked him in the ribs.
Enough. This needs to be put to a stop.

On August of 9 March 2015 politics student Chumani Maxwele threw a bucket of shit over the Rhodes statue which had dominated the main stairway of UCT Upper Campus for over 110 years. He was just another black activist seeking a cause in his restlessness, as so many black students before them. But this moment would be the tinder which spread like Canadian wildfire through the entirety of UCT and then wider South Africa, all within the span of just one month.
The University leadership capitulated, and on 9 April 2015, following a UCT Council vote the previous night, the statue was removed. The Rhodes Must Fall movement, reached all universities of South Africa, and would endure for an entire year afterwards, and influenced nationwide protests of a great deal of unrelated post-apartheid activism. National headlines would dominate from the #RhodesMustFall movement, whenever South Africa was mentioned.
The University of Cape Town would be crippled by activist students, outside troublemakers, and EFF Youth League extremists. The university would be unable to function for an entire year. I know this, because I was there, and I lost 18 month of my life. I was supposed to finish my B.Sc in Geomatics (the science of Surveying) in 4 years, but instead it took 6. I was nearly financially crippled by those 2 years, and became a great financial burden to my parents. I was within in a hair's breath of becoming destitute without a degree to show for it, a horror fate for poor whites in modern RSA.
CECIL JOHN RHODES:
Cecil John Rhodes was the Prime Minister of the Cape Colony from 1890 to 1896, and a very powerful and wealthy magnate in South Africa. He influenced an extraordinary deal of South African politics, and much of the way that South Africa became the nation it is today is a result of his hand and influence. You can argue he's the most influential British person in all of RSA history, if not the most singular influential one single person in all of the history of South Africa itself. Yet, funnily enough, most foreigners, let alone South Africans, especially Black South Africans, would never even heard of him, especially since the ANC party basically completely gutted all of the history of whites in the South African history curriculum since the early 2000s. That is, most had never heard of him until the events of March 2015 in UCT.
The most important thing to know about Rhodes is that he made the jingoism of Churchill look meek. He was a hardcore British imperialist and believed absolutely that Britain deserved to rule the Earth entire. His most aggravating quote was: "To be born English is to win first prize in the lottery of life." He had vast influence into all Bongs believing in the domination of Africa, over both blacks and non-british whites. He was the ultimate British supremacist, and the real life caricature of historic colonial overlords.
He was also the owner of the very famous BSACo (British South Africa Company). The BSACo was deemed at the time to be the wealthiest company on the African continent, and considered to be bested only by its much much more famous cousin - the East India Company which brought in the absolute lionshare of colonial wealth back to England.
Rhodes' most infamous ambition was to create an African type silk road which stretched from, (it has been suggested that Rhodes' ambition was to create a zone of British commercial and political influence from) "Cape to Cairo". He basically wanted to build train railways all the way from Cape Town to North Africa, and have his company BSACo be the main contractor to engineer this titanic objective. He was very open about his life ambitions, and was the one to coin the famous phrase: "Cape to Cairo". Although modern people who use the phrase "Cape to Cairo" tend to refer to continent long bike races. Here is a famous cartoon about Cecil standing over Africa:
To further demonstrate just how influential and powerful the man was, the country of Rhodesia (pre-Zimbabwe) is named after him. Yes dramatards, THAT Rhodesia is named after THIS Rhodes! The forming of Rhodesia, and the hand Cecil and his company BSACo (British South Africa Company) had in its founding, is another colossal history Longpost itself, but what's significant is just to demonstrate to dramatards the extent of the man's larger than life presence in Southern Africa.

A lot of Bongs, both foreign and South African, have a bit of an ego regarding the whites' mistreatment of blacks within the long history of South Africa. Because of the incredible international infamy of Apartheid, and the association of Afrikaners with the mistreatment and discrimination of blacks in RSA, their part in the colonial oppression is often overlooked and unknown by the majority of mankind, especially the stupid Bongs themselves. Bongs have this arrogance that only Afrikaners took part in Apartheid, and that boers were singularly responsible for upholding of the National Party (the Apartheid gov), and that they never had any involvement whatsoever, or never greatly benefitted from being white under Apartheid, while it reigned. It is true that on average Bongs were more liberal than Boers for the majority of the Union of South Africa's existence, but those were only averages. The vast greater population of SA Bongs were just as racist, and just as indifferent towards the discrimination against blacks and non-whites for the entirety of SA's history.
While a majority of South African white liberals whom stood against Apartheid in the 1970s were Bongs, they were still an aberration and the exception to the rule. Additionally, a lot of Bongs who think they are "History Buffs" 
, love to bring up the reasons why the proto-Boers/Dutch launched their Groot Trek (Great Trek/Move) inland from the Cape Colony, was because they disagreed with Britain outlawing slavery as the sole singular reason for why the Dutch left the cape Colony away from British rule in 1833, and that the super progressive and utopian British were the heralds of modernity

Rhodes was born in Bongland Hertfordshire, but he was a very sickly kid. His parents tried a lot, but the boy was always fluctuating between adequate and bad health. When he survived his childhood and turned 17, he was still very sick. For a long time it was believed he had tuberculosis in his youth. He was sent to South Africa by his family when he turned 17 years old, in the hope that the climate might improve his health. A lot of doctors at the time had suggested warmer climates for colonialists which had lung and heart problems at the time. A doctor in South Africa later diagnosed a condition where he basically had a hole in his heart, which taxed his breathing capability. It is remarkable that this man would survive an entire middle aged, stress inducing lifetime, filled with heartattacks to enact his will and brutality. Regardless the warmer SA climate did aid his health and prolonged his lifespan.
RHODES BECOMES POWERFUL AND WEALTHY:
When Cecil turned 18, he basically instantly turned into the SA version of the Wolf of Wallstreet. He 1st funded, then bought the Rothschild Company which mined diamonds in the infamous Kimberly mines in 1871. He began to systematically buy out and consolidate diamond mines. Over the next two decades he gained near-complete domination of the world diamond market, forming a massive monopoly. His diamond company De Beers, formed in 1888. Yes dramatards, THAT De Beers. You guys beginning to grasp just how absolutely prominent this man was?
With his monopoly in diamonds in Southern Africa, and his BSACo (British South Africa Company), he became a titanic figure and turned his efforts and influence into politics.
Rhodes entered the Cape Parliament at the age of 27 in 1881 were he became a political force. 9 years later he became Prime Minister. During his time as prime minister, Rhodes used his political power to expropriate land from black Africans through the Glen Grey Act, while also tripling the wealth requirement for voting under the Franchise and Ballot Act, effectively barring black people from taking part in elections.
The Glen Grey Act of the Parliament of the Cape Colony basically did this: it established a system of individual (rather than communal) land tenure and created a labour tax to force Xhosa men into employment on commercial farms or in industry. It basically overnight caused blacks in the Cape Colony juristiction to be unable to leverage their communal land as economic assets, thus throwing them into the financial lower classes - this was by design.
Then later Cecil went full slow-cooking-the-frog mode, and enacted another devastating law. The Franchise and Ballot Act (1892) of the Cape Colony, which raised the property franchise qualification, thus disenfranchising a large proportion of the Cape's non-white voters, and a number of poor white voters. It was a significant early step in overturning the Cape's liberal and multi-racial constitution, and causing separate laws to apply to separate races.

RHODES SCOLARSHIPS AND THE FOUNDING OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CAPE TOWN:
The Rhodes Scholarship is the current oldest graduate scholarship in the world, and is considered very prestigious among English-speaking nations. But more importantly his financial contributions to Academic institutions of the Commonwealth, also extended to the University of Cape Town.
UCT was 1st established in 1829 as the South African College, but later it was granted full university status in 1918, making it the oldest university in South Africa and the oldest university in Sub-Saharan Africa in continuous operation. And of course, most significant to our story, is the famous Rhodes statue situated upon the main stairway leading up to the UCT Upper Campus where all the lecture halls are located. His presence and influence upon the founding of the University of Cape Town would rest atop this staircase for the next 110 years, staring through his statue.

What made the 2015 March anti-Rhodes strike such a nuclear shitstorm was 2 things: 1st by 2015, a very large amount of South Africans have obtained smartphones and access to the internet. Cellphones have become so cheap by this time, that even the poorest ghetto or township black person living in a shanty town house made of sink, possessed a phone. The second cause of the 2015 March strike, was Burger Students. That's right americans! This is all YOUR fault! 
Prior to 2015, foreign exchange students made up between 15-20% of the total population of the UCT student body, most of them americans. Now at this time in 2014 & 2015, a great deal of american culture got spread between liberals through the almighty American Cultural Megaphone 
One of the big topics dominating liberal discourse was Confederate Statues in public places of veneration. And many blacks yanks weren't so keen on having slaveowners being adulated in the town square. So many black and liberal white yanks would scream for the removal of Confederate generals' statues in burgerland's various states. Most of this wouldn't go anywhere until the 2020 George Floyd protests & riots, where a great many deal of Burger statues would be removed or toppled in rivers and shit.
Point is, this protestation against statues as symbols of oppression or previous regimes witch screwed over discriminated people, was very in vogue at that moment in time. And liberals with too much energy, along with student activists whom are always oversexed, and seeking for the next big purpose would share this ideology and sentiments between each other, when visiting oversea universities. Just look at the current trend wave of libtards fusing their fricking hands into pavement and forcing firefighters to physically cut them out of the tar of highways.

Anyways, in 2015, the EFF youth League and other random black activists group would do the usual protestor shit, but it was specifically Chumani Maxwele with his famous bucket of literal shit he threw at the statue which caught the eyes of the RSA black public. As I said - a surprisingly large amount of people didn't and still don't know RSA white history and especially the history of the man Cecil Rhodes, including modern bongs themselves, and more importantly the black public.
Once black activists got the idea from their burger counterparts, and they found out just what a grade a douchebag Rhodes was, especially towards blacks; and his influence towards proto-Apartheid policies, they had the perfect target for their ire, and the perfect outlet for their youthful energy.
The guy (Chumani Maxwele) was naturally put before the university Tribunal and tried for defacing UCT property, as was the rules of the University. He was then subsequently suspended for his actions. As you can imagine this enraged the EFF, the black activists and every single busybody in a 100km radius from the university.

THE LAMESTREAM MEDIA OVERREACTS AS USUAL:
Because of the quick sequence of the events described above, and before UCT management could even react, let alone be aware of the defacement of the Rhodes Statue, the news of Chumani Maxwele's vandalization, and his subsequent suspension, drove home the view in Black Twitter, and the Black media that the very structurally racist UCT was basically shitcanning a valiant protestor against a legacy symbol of white supremacy and racism. Arguments spiraled on the internet and became toxic very quickly.
The same argument of protesting against the Rhodes statue soon escalated into the removal of it from the Campus instead. The same fights as in burgerland, as to whether the historically significance of the statue of Cecil Rhodes should be preserved regardless of whether the man was bad, but had great influence on educating future South Africans, including eventually black south african students, VS the symbolic negativity which the statue inspired as an icon of the previous white supremacy regime outstrips its historic significance, and such a negative symbol should be removed at all costs.
It's important for dramatards to understand how quickly these events escalated, and how little the benefit of doubt was given to the UCT management, as soon within the span of days and weeks, even publicly famous politicians like our dear friend Julias Malema, the leader of the EFF party deigned to reward the country with his insightful opinions - such as that the UCT was run by evil racist white supremacists. While UCT staff would just be recovering from one bomb, another would follow from black public bashing days after, and so on and so on.

This also made black activists feel the University didn't understand their frustration with the naming of Lecture Halls and buildings, like the Jameson Hall examination theatre, which dominated the middle of Upper Campus, after previous colonial figures, no matter how influential they were towards the formation of the University. It was a pretty fricking toxic atmosphere to be in.
The thing is that the ANC handling of schooling and Education had been an astronomical disaster by 2015, causing the majority of black students graduating from mostly black schools to be woefully uneducated and unprepared for adult life and business. (This is another Long LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG kaamrev post btw)
This meant that basically only a sliver of the brightest black students could make it through the maelstrom of ANC ruled education (the same shit rule that caused us to lose electricity 6 hours a day ) and be qualified towards the minimum merit required to gain entry towards the University of Cape Town, and all other Universities in the country.
The ANC and EFF had pushed very hard to increase black student percentage numbers from the 2000s to 2015, but the University of Cape Town remained adamant that they would never allow entry to any student unless they qualified. They would go to great measures to create grants and scholorships specifically towards blacks and coloureds for their disadvantages, but they still needed to have the minimum academic standards. Affirmative Action towards blacks would only remain on the recruitment level, NEVER towards the admission level, and this positively enraged the ANC, and every black wingcuck since for over a decade by the time 2015 March came along.
This might seem like another kaamrev tangent, but I mention this to demonstrate just how utterly toxic the atmosphere around UCT, and the discussion around the Rhodes memorial came. Every single racist subject possibly applicable to UCT was thrown at the UCT Management by these activists, by politicians like Julias Malema. It was a trashfire without moderation and sense

I do genuinely understand where the core of discontent from these black peeps came from, it sucks to live under the shadow of previous douchebags who had power over you. REACTIONS OUTSIDE UCT:
A lot of black South Africans still felt that despite 20 years passing by the time 2015 arrives, since the Mandela Administration had enacted reform and democratization of the country, that the extreme inequality between black and white was still a suffering and source of pain and wounded pride. Many young black south africans, along with their black boomers were sometimes just as destitute and poor as they had been 20 years prior, sometimes literally worse off due to the extreme neglect caused by the dysfunction of ANC leadership.
And thus many of these young black people felt that they needed to have a cause to imitate their parents' efforts in the causing of the downfall of Apartheid. And the Rhodes statue became a focal point. Many of them could not understand the complex nature of the country and how it came to be, and it's much easier to look back at the consequences of Apartheid which had hard clearly defined consequences, VS the subtle and uncomprehending hobbling effect the corruption and theft that the ANC government had caused.
Thus despite the protest starting from the point of just one man - Cecil Rhodes - the thundering on the internet and IRL soon became race based, from the low black portion of students at UCT, to the immediate suspension of Chumani Maxwele, the Black population of UCT and RSA were unconsolable, and would not reason with the UCT Management.
Some black activists tried to use this movement for benevolent goals - like increasing the amount of Tertiary education available for RSA blacks, and improving upon the education standards for blacks nationally overall. As well as highlighting the unintentional historic institutional racism which blacks faced at universities like UCT. But their voices were drowned out out by the loudest of fools and bloodthirst against whites.

From March 2015 to 2016, the protests would go and off for a fricking yea long. I'm not joking. Just like COVID, a lot of students had to take leaves till the violence and disruption calmed down, or had referrals to retake examinations and projects a year later. I was one of them. The above article is from 2016, a full 11 months after the initial 2015 March protests began it was truly apocalyptic. Protestors, students and outside actors would sleep in gyms and examination halls, it was truly a year long nightmare.
Now I don't mean it was literally every single day, but the protestors would come and destabilize the Upper Campus every 2 weeks to a month average. Sometimes if you believed things were just about going normal, then shit would hit the fan. It was for many an impossibility to function normally. And you could basically just write a feeble doctor's letter to ask for exam or project or thesis referrals for next year for being too stressed due to the protests and rioting. So if you had shit grades or were failing this was a mercy restart for the lazy fricks
UCT MANAGEMENT CAPITULATES:
With the protests came the now infamous in RSA universities phrase: decolonization. Every fricking thing needed to be decolonized. And even now 8 years later, proctors and liberal students still talk about decolonization. The main focal point of decolonization was of course the removal of the Rhodes Statue.
On 12 March 2015, an open air dialogue took place on the stairs of Jammie Plaza, the focal point of the UCT Upper Campus, to discuss the statue, with points from all sides being heard. The following week, a march to the UCT administrative building, Bremner, took place, demanding a date for the removal of the statue. On 20 March 2015, students stormed the Bremner building, which houses the UCT offices during a speech addressing the removal of the statue by UCT vice-chancellor Max Price. On 22 March, it was reported that the students were still occupying the building and that members of the public were supplying them with food. The protesters "renamed" the building Azania House

Following a tumultuous evening meeting of the UCT council, Rhodes’ statue will be removed on Thursday. The unanimous decision of the council marks the culmination of almost a month of student protests – including students occupying the council meeting. REBECCA DAVIS was there.
ll Rhodes lead to the colonisation of the mind”, read a banner brandished by students gathered to hear the decision of the UCT council on Wednesday evening. Others carried newspaper placards anticipating “The Inevitable Fall of Rhodes”. The group of students numbered only a few dozen, but they were vocal and passionate. Toyi-toying and singing, they waited to hear the decision of the council. It was not expected to take long.
The gathering of the UCT council was an emergency meeting convened to vote on the future of the controversial Rhodes statue. In advance, its outcome was a foregone conclusion: statements from UCT vice chancellor Max Price had already indicated that the statue was as good as gone.
Weeks of protest began with a group of students led by Chumani Maxwele dousing the statue in excrement in early March, saying that its continued presence on the university’s campus was testament to the institution’s failure to meaningfully transform.
Days of public dialogues and panel discussions followed, together with an occupation of the university’s Bremner admin building spearheaded by students under the “Rhodes Must Fall” campaign. With Bremner renamed “Azania House”, the building has been functioning as a home base for protesters, who have been sleeping there.

As you can see there was an almost lunatic fervor amongst the protestors, and they behaved with a spiteful meanness. When the UCT Management asked them to disperse, and that they were going to fricking do the thing which they asked for, the protestors refused to leave the premises, and went full r-slur mode.

While the students’ insistence on disrupting a meeting at which they had been told their desired outcome would be forthcoming might seem irrational, it was clear that they were genuinely concerned that if they left the room without a concrete resolution, something might go wrong. They spoke of having been lied to before. They said the university’s stated timeframes on transformation were unacceptable.
The protesters were grudgingly persuaded of the merits of leaving the council for ten minutes so that the members could conclude their vote. “Please make the right decision, Father,” one student appealed to Archbishop Ndungane, squeezing his hand as he left.
After a great deal longer than 10 minutes, the verdict came back: the vote was concluded, unanimously in favour of the statue’s removal. “We won!” a student yelled. “Amandla!” Council members hurried down the stairs to leave.

Max Price was the Vice-Chancellor at this time, and he was a god amongst men. He held his own against the media, the protestors and the black politicians like Malema inflaming the masses towards violence and upheaval. He diplomatically held firm like an invincible wall against all of the bullshit and never allowed UCT to be intimidated. Trust me, this guy showed incredible leadership in this absurd time.
He condemned the occupation and intimidation tactics of the protestors who forced themselves into the Bremmer admin building, to force council members to vote in favor of the Statue's removal, as well as the use of inflammatory language like "One Settler one Bullet" chants.
He wanted to create structured dialogue in this mess, and wanted to perform the removal through a legal system, and not through the intimidation or force.
The fricking student council that year was packed by ANC and EFF wingcucks, and thus they used their few admin powers to constantly harass Max Price the entire year, yet he fended them off each time diplomatically. It was incredible to see dramatards. These protestors and student council members verbally abused Max and the UCT Management every step of the way, and every step of the way, the UCT Management came off diplomatically, and with dignity. It was just simply absurd.
And the incredible bias in the black twitter and black mainstream social media never highlighted this cruel and bad behaviour of these black student council members. It was maddening.

At this point in time the general Rhodes statue protests and riots had evolved from bitching about the statue, to complaining about the UCT fees, which were the most expensive in the country, amongst all of the universities. For those unaware, Armored Core is an incredibly niche mecha action shooter from the wildly popular game developer FromSoftware. You play as a mercenary that pilots an Armored Core, a cutting edge mech and take on missions from corporations in the pursuit of massive profit. Warcrimes, 1 on 1 Duels, Giant Boss Fights, and more await. You may recognize FromSoftware as the company who created the massive Dark Souls franchise and its derivatives.
Armored Core's last release was over a decade ago, and the announcement of AC6 breathed new life into the once dead franchise. Old and new fans alike were hyped for the new game, but discontent was stirring. A strange lack of gameplay and the deliberate hiding of game mechanics created a sense of unease in the assorted fan discussion boards. The big question was about to get its answer... Is it SoulsLike?
Souls Like 
The veteran fans were affraid that their beloved franchise was going to be gentrified by the addition of mechanics commonly associated with the Dark Souls franchise. From the limited trailers and developer interviews, longtime fans tentatively hoped that the franchise would stay true to its roots. Previous games featured insanely clunky controls, manual aiming, massive customization, and debt. Lots of debt. Veterans feared that the identity of this game would be sacrificed in order to appeal to a much, much larger fanbase.

I'll give a brief desription of each point to give further context to the coming drama.
Hard Lock/Turning Speed 
In all entries prior to AC 6, turning speed is a key stat to design your mech around. This is no longer the case. A key gameplay skill was keeping your opponent in front of your robot. Now that the camera and mech automatically snap to your enemy, this major skill check is almost entirely removed from the core game loop.
Estus Flask 
Another core gameplay feature was that damage you take during missions is mostly permanent. You must attempt to complete a mission with the AP (health) that you start with. Certain games had minor ways to replenish health and ammo during a mission, but are exceedingly rare. This is no longer the case. A robot can heal at any point in the game, very similar to the Estus Flask from Dark Souls. Yet another major departure from the previous entries.
Big Telegraphed Attacks 
Boss fights are common in the franchise, but the new way to approach them is substantially different now. Referring to the linked gameplay trailer, you can see the boss mech wind up its chainsaw arms and slam down at the player. This was not how bosses worked in the past, which is yet another SoulsLike addition to the game.
Simplified Customization 
This one is less important as the others in my opinion, but is still a point for veterans to cope and seethe about. It appears that the types of parts that you can customize your mech with has been reduced. The fewer categories make it slightly easier for new players to approach building a mech which understandably makes the longtime fans sneed.
Gatekeeping 
Naturally, the long standing fans are clashing with the new blood that the souls franchise brought in. There is shit flinging on all sides as new fans gloat about their soulslike influence while dinosaurs lament the casualization of their beloved mecha franchise. Some choice threads to spectate:

My Take on the Matter 
Armored Core is going the way of souls. Is this a good change? Or the total destruction of a niche beloved franchise?
Truthfully, I think the changes are good. I believe that we old fans have extreme rose colored glasses for the ancient and archaic control scheme of the PS2 era games. Note that those games did not even use twin sticks despite being on the console for several years.
The games are going to be fun and my extreme hopium 
is that the mecha genre in the west gains much more widespread approval.

TLDR 
An article was published to a medical journal suggesting that there may be a link between the rapid explosion of gender dysphoria and social factors, especially for young girls. Gender activists seethe and call for the resignation of the editor of the journal and retraction of the article. The activists get told they can't remove the article becuase they're mad it disagrees with them. Activists seethe and pressure the journal to remove the paper based on a technicality
Background Infomation
Littman walked so Chuds could run
Before we talk about the current paper being published we have to discuss how this whole event was set up, and that starts with Lisa Littman
Real chuds already know that Littman is a medical doctor that specializes in studying gender dysphoria and specifically those who detransition. She was even the individual that created the term "rapid onset gender dysphoria”. Littmans major controversy was when she published an article to PLos One titled "Rapid-onset gender dysphoria in adolescents and young adults: A study of parental reports". The study surveyed parents of kids who had transitioned and seemed to hypothesize that there could be social contagion, especially among young females, that contribute to gender dysphoria.
While the study itself had several prominent weakness, it was an interesting report that had potential to be expanded on. But backlash from Gender activists led to Littman's university to retracting support for her:
Along with the journal being republished with several corrections to make sure its readers know that the article is VERY limited in it's scope and is a weak study.
Surely, journal publishers would always be this scrutinizing when deciding which research papers to publish.
But nonetheless that brings us up to date so we can discuss the similar issue that occured just recently but this time in [CURRENT YEAR]
The Controversy
Current Year Problems
The controversy began in Late March of this year when an article titled "Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria: Parent Reports on 1655 Possible Cases" was published to the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior of Springer Nature by Suzanne Diaz and Michael Bailey.
The study explored the same ideas in the Littman study by to a greater extent. The original Littman paper surveyed 256 parents while Diaz and Baileys study surveyed 1655 parents. The paper was able to corroborate several of the findings in the original Littman Paper:
This data bolstered Littman’s findings about the onset of gender dysphoria after puberty, predominantly in girls, in conjunction with preexisting mental-health conditions, heavy social-media usage, and peer influence. They also corroborated Littman’s 2018 finding that an overwhelming majority (90 percent) of concerned parents are politically progressive, undermining the common narrative that criticisms and concerns about gender affirmation originate in conservatism.
As mentioned before, The Bailey and Diaz paper seeked to expand on Littmans original findings. And thats what they did:
Females are more than twice as likely to pursue social transition. However, among those who experienced gender dysphoria for at least one year, males were more likely to undergo hormonal interventions. Moreover, a majority of parents reported feeling coerced by gender specialists to affirm their child’s new identity and endorse his or her transition. Parents who facilitated their child’s social transition reported that the child’s mental health “deteriorated considerably after social transition,” and that their relationship with their child suffered.
The purpose of the paper was to provide evidence against the currently accepted approach of "gender affirmation" suggesting that "hey, maybe we should slow down and actually find more research before experimenting on the young kiddos". Obviously no one should have a problem with this.
REEEEEEEEEE THIS IS A PROBLEM
One day passes after the article is published, and Bailey and Diaz recieve a list of questions from the executive committee of the International Academy of S*x Research (IASR) about their Institutional Review Board (IRB) ethics-approval process and with the journal raising “significant concerns about the ethical conduct and integrity of the editorial process” .
For those unaware IRB boards are committees that review research studies to ensure that they comply with applicable regulations, meet ethical standards, follow institutional policies, and protect research participants. Basically they make sure you have consent from patients before you go probing their bussys in the name of science.
Keep this all in mind, because we're going to touch on this point again.
Bad Faith
News of the Baileys and Diaz article begins to circulate and a group of hundred plus scientists (on the right side of history) draft a lengthy open letter to Springer Nature and the IASR. The letter was seething about how Diaz and Baileys study was heckin bad faith and could hurt the homo community:
The publication also raises concerns over scientific integrity. Despite mentioning longstanding academic critiques of research around “Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria,” it does not seriously engage with these critiques nor integrate insights drawn from those critiques into the study methodology, replicating the severe methodological and interpretive flaws of previous research
Publishing work on LGBTQ+ issues that does not meet the highest standards of academic and ethical rigor has caused a severe deterioration of the reputation of Archives of Sexual Behavior within LGBTQ+ research. By granting scientific legitimacy to articles that do not meet the highest standards of academic and ethical integrity, Archives of Sexual Behavior is not only undermining trust in science but also playing a distorting role in ongoing legislative and judicial debates over gender-affirming care in many countries including the United States. These actions impugn the respective reputations of Springer and IASR as a publisher and sponsoring organization.
NOOOOOOOO, If people don't trust the science we can't continue doing what we want to do
The aforementioned letter additionally demanded for the resignation of Springer Natures editor, Kenneth Zucker, and demanded for his replacement to be a person who understands the importance and has integrity on LGBTQ issues. The scientists threatened to withhold submissions to their journal if the journal didn't give into their pleas.
The severity of our scientific and ethical concerns calls for replacing Dr Kenneth Zucker as editor of Archives of Sexual Behavior. Until an editor who has a demonstrated record of integrity on LGBTQ+ matters and especially trans issues replaces Dr Zucker as editor, we will no longer submit to the journal, act as peer reviewers, or serve in an editorial capacity. We encourage our peers to do the same. If the situation is not remedied in a timely manner, we will consider terminating any involvement with the IASR and with members of Archives of Sexual Behavior’s editorial board.
While this letter makes the scientific community look like a bunch of cucks there was a counter protest to the letter that recieved over 2000 signatures telling the soycucks to shut up:
That same day, FAIR in Medicine, a nonpartisan professional network that advocates “the highest ethical standards in medical practice,” sponsored a counter-letter. This document underscored their support for Dr. Kenneth Zucker and called for an “academically robust and unbiased editorial process” at ASB and the “uninterrupted publication” of Diaz and Bailey’s study. Rather than capitulating to activists’ “censorious demands," FAIR in Medicine urged for an “open debate about the paper.” The counter-letter garnered over 2,000 signatures

We're So Back!
Now back Diaz and Bailey.
It was stated earlier that Bailey and Diaz conducted their research with survey response answers from willing volunteers, but even in this case, anything that involves collecting data from study participants requires consent per IRB policy before research ever begins and the IRB can't retrospectively approve already collected data. But due to Diaz not being associated with the University he was able to circumvent these polices and just have Bailey be a coauthor on the paper.
For Nature and Springer their policy on IRB approval porcess states:
Hence, you can underatand why the scientists before were calling for the resignation of Spingers current editor. But it appeared that the activists attempts to remove the article were futile and that Diaz and Bailey wouldn't have their article retracted
It's over
After a continuous pressure campaign from homo activists, Diaz and Bailey recieve an email from Springer telling them to get fricked and that they should have gotten EXPLICIT consent beforehand and that they have no choice but to remove the paper:
The participants of the survey have not provided written informed consent to participate in scholarly research or to have their responses published in a peer reviewed article. Additionally, they have not provided consent to publish to have their data included in this article.
At this point it's clear that the activists couldn't get the article removed on the basis of heckin wrong think but rather on this technicality.
Bailey and Diaz were going to have their article removed no matter what but they were provided an option to prepare a statement that disagreed or agreed with the decision that would be included with the retraction:
Bailey raised three major objections to Springer’s decision to retract the paper. First, he contested the grounds for retraction as an ever-changing “moving target.” Initially, Springer’s concern hinged on a potential ethics violation arising from the absence of IRB approval brought to its attention by activists. When this challenge proved to be without merit, the focus abruptly shifted to concerns about the informed consent of the study’s participants.
Second was Springer’s assertion that the study’s participants did not provide “written consent to participate in scholarly research or to have their responses published in a peer reviewed article.” As Bailey explained, the parents who took part in the survey were enthusiastic about contributing data related to ROGD, given the scarcity of information on this novel presentation of gender dysphoria. The introduction of the survey, taken by all participating parents, mentions the dearth of data on the topic and the need for parents to “seek out this information on our own” to “help us gain a better understanding” of this new phenomenon. Upon completion of the survey, parents were informed that their “answers will help us gain a better understanding of which children are more vulnerable to Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria and what we can do to help them better.” The data, parents were told, would be made public online once a sufficiently large sample size was achieved.
And finally, the funniest point was Bailey pointed out that Springer’s "consent policy" wasn't even applied consistently:
Bailey pointed out Springer’s inconsistent application of their putative consent policy. He cited “a slew of ‘scholarly publications’ [by Springer] based on survey research in which the respondents did not provide explicit permission for ‘scholarly research’ use—and often apparently did not provide consent for any research purpose at all.” Examples included at least six publications using data from a health survey conducted by the American College Health Association that “included intensely personal questions relating [to] substance use, sexual behaviors, and other highly sensitive topics.”
It's never been more over
Tragically, even with Baileys argument, Springer went ahead and retracted the article on the basis of Bailey and Diaz not receiving proper consent. But they did thank Bailey for making them aware of the other articles that didn't recieve proper consent and now they're being investigated was well (lmao)
While it does seem like a common L for the chuds, Bailey and Diaz are planning on submitting their manuscript to another journal that's (hopefuly) less ideologically driven.

On today’s episode of Good Mythical Morning, Rhett & Link dig deep into their flavor memories and try to identify the name brand sodas from a line up of four unlabeled glasses, three of which contain grocery store knockoffs. As true, unbiased YouTube scientists — and using what they learned in a previous episode — they made sure that the sodas all came from the same size and type of container. Great Value was definitely the prettiest of the four drink options. The guys admired the big, glassy bubbles. But…it was all a lie! They found it seriously lacking in fizz when they tried it. Next up was Signature Select’s knockoff. While Link liked it — and let the record show that he liked all of them — Rhett found it “too sweet.” The real contest was between the last two: Sprite and Big K. Big K’s lemon-lime had “less bite, but good flavor,” so Link gave it the “flavor award.” Sprite, on the other hand, got the “bite award.” The guys were surprised by the amount of bite it had and didn’t remember Sprite tasting that way, so they guessed Kroger. However, they both claimed that bite was more important than flavor, so they liked the Sprite more. They just didn’t quite believe that Sprite could be that good. If only they’d tried McDonald’s Sprite…

Link doesn’t like a whole lot of things. That includes Dr Pepper. Link, however, made it clear that he was confident in this round because his wife loves Dr Pepper. His proposed technique? “I’m gonna see if I can taste my wife’s breath.” “Can you hit the undo button?” Rhett asked (on behalf of literally everyone everywhere). While this round should’ve been easy for Rhett, he struggled a bit initially. “None of them taste like Dr Pepper. I think I’ve been drinking so much Diet Dr Pepper,” he admitted. But there were some hints that led the guys to guess correctly. Big K’s Dr K tasted “grapey.” Signature Select’s Dr Dynamite and Great Value’s Dr Thunder were too “candylike.” Dr Pepper, however, was the only one that didn’t taste “too fruity.” It’s safe to say that Dr K, Dr Dynamite, and Dr Thunder were trying way too hard. You just can’t beat the original.

In yesterday's thread I (and many other users) had the ingenious idea of inviting some of them to this place. Also, if I had to guess I'd say that at least half of this site regularly reads /r/Hobbydrama's weekly scruffle post which usually contains a bunch of short threads dedicated to certain topics. These stem from niche drama in Otaku culture to discussing whether Abby Shapiro's or Milana Vayntrub's breasts are larger. In both cases, the answer and all arguments are meaningless hevel that stems from those discussions being a nothingburger deluxe but you haven't really lived until you have discussed recent patch changes in Final Fantasy or something and how you're totally going to quit this time.
Hence, it was finally my time to reach out to our distant yet so close brothers and sisters and lead them to the promised golden land of rdrama's effortposters. I tried at least a couple of different approaches and thanks to my unconstrained autism I have somehow managed to at least get them to check out this site. Unfortunately for me (and for this site) the drama community already has a very negative reputation even amongst the longposting neurodivergents of /r/HobbyDrama which made this entire endeavour a lot more strenuous than expected, but see for yourself:

Though Schofield insists that the sexual stuff only happened when the boy was of age, there is evidence that they knew each other since he was 10. Greetings Spelunkystrags! 
A week ago I was listening to Audiobooks regarding the Thai Cave rescue incident in which Rick Stanton and other British and international subterranean cave diving specialists struggled through intense 18 days of drama to excavate 12 thai schoolboys and their teacher, whom had got stuck inside the deep and complex Tham Luang cave passages after an abnormally early flash flood prior to the monsoon season. The moronic drama involving these British cave divers, and the absolute incompetence of the Thai Navy Seals and government was legendary.
Although you won't really find many articles regarding the Thai Navy Seals' incompetence or moronic performance in many liberal articles, or even from the divers in public to maintain good relations, the behind the scenes biographies from these British divers, shed some very very unflattering details regarding the Thai Seal's stupidity. You see the Thai Navy Seals were the main Thai organization responsible for the Thai part of the rescue operation, and although these were skilled and talented men and military arms in their own right, with plenty of rescue operation experience all along the Thai coast, their capacity and performance in the Underground submerged caverns, meant they were out of their depth and completely inexperienced with regards to the rescue of people from underground water, something the Thai Navy had had absolute zero experience from up until the 2018 incident.
The reason for the Thai Seal's r-sluration and dogshit performance was a notion which I as an African had seldom experienced before, since there are basically non-existent asians on the continent - it was the South-East Asian notion of Saving Face.

To westerners being embarrassed or feeling humiliated in diplomacy tier events is of course nothing new - but Asians take this feeling to the absolute extreme. They are so fricking fearful of losing the respect of others, that our SEA peers from across the Indian Ocean can have some totally batshit and hilarious behaviours. Even something as simple as the feeling that you got the worst part of a trade deal, even for something as inconsiquential as buying daily food in an open market! Now the way this manifested amongst the Thai Seals and the international Cave Divers, especially the very top experts from Britain like Rick Standton - was the resolute refusal to take the advice from the Brits, despite their experience in the calamity. The Thai seals were so absurdly proud, and felt humiliated they were reliant upon foreigners and could mount the rescue operation on their own, it was absurd. They literally sabotaged themselves.
When western Euros and and Bongland, and Burgerland, and other majority white nations extend help to one another, there is very little humiliation in asking for the help of foreigners, and deferring to the expertise of specialists, be it in disaster situations or economic management. Mayos love licking boots, so deferring to other's experience isn't some primal sedoku-suicide inducing blight on your pride - often in fact if a Mayo acted out of their expertise they can get publically flogged afterwards if word gets out and they did a really bad job in some natural disaster calamity, outside their skillset.
EXAMPLES: the Brits and international Cave Divers were ready to dive day 1, but couldn't get permission to enter the cave or waters until 3 days later. It took 10 days since day 0 of the incident to convince the authorities and Seals that leaving the Thai schoolboys inside the caves until the end of the Monsoon season would leave the trapped boys to their doom, as monsoon rain would funnel the waters to their sanctuary.
The Thai Seals nearly drowned themselves in the 1st two days, despite one of the 1st Brits their warning them about Subterranian dangers such as being blinded by the sediment and sand being disturbed from the floors, and not being able to determine direction and balance underwater. The Thai Seal dipshits would also ignore British warning to take reels with them, similar to a string into the Minotaur's labyrinth. It took until day 3 for the fricks to take that piece of advice seriously.
The Thai Seals did not corridor off the 1st chamber before the sump into underground water, to keep civilians out of the caves like the British advised, and many volunteers would help with hoses and generators in the 1st few days to try and pump out water out of Tham Luang cave before everyone realized the majority of the water seeped porously through the mountain walls. In the 1st week the british cave divers rescued 4 men who almost drowned as the monsoon rains pushed water into the 1st and 2nd chamber! This was never even fricking reported!
The Thai Seals would do other stupid shit like when they transported oxygen cylinders to concurrent cave chambers and sumps, like Mount Everest Intermediary camps, and bring fricking empty ones with them. When the Britished asked the Thai Seals to aid in bringing further cylinders, once they had finally taken charge, the Thai Seals would bring oxygen cylinders with them into, but with the fricking wrong valves, or valves that malfunctioned!
The final must suicidal r-sluration of the Thai Seals was that when they, after the British divers had finally found the boys, mapped the chambers, and laid directional reels towards them, had fricking went towards the boys cave - without enough oxygen. As in they only took one cylinder bottle each, when they were transporting food and clothes and blankets and shit, and basically made an unintetional one way trip to the Schoolboy's dry chamber

The final moment which basically convinced the Thai Seals to take the British Cave divers seriously was when one of their own - against ALLLL of the suggestions and protocol advised from the Brits and international cave divers there, finally died from a minor mistake in the caves. He went late at night, alone and without the suggested paired partner, in a trip to deliver oxygen tanks to one of the intermediary sump chambers, and not do the check to see if his current tank was full or not - and thus died from lack of air midway between 2 of the intermediary chambers.
It was from this clownshow in the audiobooks I listened to that I also was inspired by the cave-diver Rick Stanton's misadventures in Mexico, to Looongpost last week.
I was also inspired by the Thai Cave rescue to write about save related dramatic incidents today, specifically SA related. Right sorry for that massive kaamrev-tier neurodivergent tangent, back to the Cango Caves!
THE CANGO CAVES:
The Cango Caves are located in the town of Oudtshoorn, in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. They are one of the most attractive and visited tourist locations in the entire South Africa. They go 4km deep!
They also have Khoi-San paintings in their shallow levels, and have been used since pre-historic times, and the earliest stone ages of man.
Unfortunately most of these painting have been badly damaged and eroded - 1st by time and elements, but also by vandals and tourists over the years. The true reason to see the Cango Caves are the spectacular underground caverns, and majestic stalagmites and stalagtites. Unfortunately, even a great many of these have been broken and stolen by vandalous tourists over the last 3 decades.
There were even concerts held in the largest main chambers of the Cango Caves till 1991, but was stopped by conservationists because the sounds destabilized many of the precious formations and stalagmites. Truth is neither black or white authority have taken cave of these precious caves very well
1st EXPLORERS OF THE CANGO CAVES:
About 500 years ago was the last evidence of Khoi-San habitation in the Cango Caves, for whatever reason, the massive groups which inhabited and found safety in these caves, decided to just one day GTFO and disappear. Archeologists theorize that despite the fantastic seclusion and safety the Cango Caves offered, the region became much dryer than usual 500 years ago, causing food scarcity for the Oudshoorn region. Additionally the tribe/tribes inhabiting the Cango Caves overused the region's food sources, forcing them to go on a nomadic tour away further West and South to find habitable regions.
Point is for about 500 years nobody, even the Hottentots (who are ethically different from the Khoi-san and came later to Western SA from Namibia) who lived in the Western Cape even knew about it. Additionally the Hottentots were pastural nomads with their cattle, and didn't subsist solely from hunting like the Khoi-San who seldom build huts. The Hottentots preferred to build huts and Corrals for their cattle, and weren't as dependent as the Khoi-san for refuge from random caves, thus they never really explored the mountainous regions like the Khoi-san, cuz they didn't have need for caverns as havens.
The Cango caves were then rediscovered some time around 1780 by a local farmer named Jacobus Van Zyl. The chamber he first was lowered down into was found to be as long as a football field, and is named Van Zyl Hall since. He would so so with nothing but candles and paraffin lamps, he would not for example be able to see from one end to the other of this colossal chamber, and the entrance without a staircase is a near 10meter drop, in which you also cannot see the bottom from the ledge before being lowered with a rope - these early cave explorers were batshit insane.
Later, further exploration was done and a second chamber discovered in 1792. The caves soon became a popular place to visit. By the 1790s, the caves were already legendary by the locals, and any people passing by would go look at see them.

THE 2 TYPES OF TOURS:
Because of the continual damage which tourists from as early as the 1800s made in the Cango caves, by cutting off and stealing stalagmites and stalagtites as souvinirs, the Governor of the Cape at the time, Lord Charles Somerset, published the first Caves Regulation in 1820 which was designed to protect the environmental resource of the caves.
There are 3 big main chambers called Cango One, Cango Two, and Cango three, but there are many many more deep caverns and tunnels that extend way beyond Cango three, and many still being unexplored to this very day, because they are perilous with tight squeezes and sumps into waters. The 1st guide was a dude called Johnnie van Wassenaar, who worked there for 43 years from 1891, and had basically defined the main tour for most people in chambers 1, 2 & 3 - which contained the easiest and safest route to see basically all of the natural wonder the caves offered, without the need of exertion.
I mention this because the 3 main chambers are there to enjoy for normal people to just walk and gawk at the limestone and stalagmites, and is the main money maker route for tourists, as it requires nothing more than the clothes on your back. But beyond the main 3 Cango Chambers, there is also the very famous caving route, which requires a relative deal of exertion.

Tours are conducted at regular intervals on most days—there is a "Standard Tour" which takes an hour and an "Adventure Tour" which takes an hour and a half. The "Adventure Tour" consists of crawling through narrow passages and climbing up steep rock formations guided by small lights. This adventure tour involves a minimally presumed level of fitness and ability to crawl on your stomach, and isn't intended with old and weak people, but neither is it especially difficult for the average teenager or adult in good health. The smallest passage that tourists will have to pass through on the Adventure Tour is just under 15 cm to exit. And this small passage, my fellow dramatards, is where our nuclear shitstorm drama begins.!
THE MAILBOX/LETTERBOX:
The Adventure tour basically involves a trip further underground, and this involves crawling, scooting on your butt, squeezing between narrow corridors sideways, and most infamously, crawling on your stomach below a narrow passage infamously named as the Letterbox, because your have to worm/crawl your way through like a letter through the Mailbox. Before entering, guides warn tourists of the neccesary exertion required, and most significantly in the modern Cango Caves, you have to prove you can squeeze through 3 lifesized mimics of the tightest passages:

You will notice that none of the articles I post will go into further details about specifics about the woman who got stuck in the Cango Cave. Specifically her race Her identity was kept secret by the press, but the backstory quickly spread through the national grapevines that she was a black woman who had accused the guides and facility staff of racism, and that she and her husband had made such a scene, that the underpaid wageslaves there just let her through, with the inevitable consequence that her lardass got stuck the Mailbox passage.
It would have been a glorious story of an arrogant birch reaping her just punishment, if the fact that 23 other fricking poor souls were trapped by the tart, and had to endure her piglike screetching for over 10 hours as rescue workers had tried to dislodge her.
They tried to use mountain climbing cowtools, as she was so stuck that she was like a human cork. Some politician wanted the rescue workers to use drilling equipment to break away stone, and allow her to be clipped free. But the Cango cave conservationists and staff rebuffed this, as they did not want to damage this national heritage route, or deny future people from climbing through the famous Mailbox, as a damaged passage.

The woman eventually was freed using rock climbing equipment and liquid paraffin - they had to lube up the lardbucket, which allowed the rescue workers to let her slip back out as they pulled her using safety harnesses and cowtools. It was a monumentally taxing operation, cuz you dramatards need to understand that the rescue workers had very limited space to work in the narrow corridors of the Adventure route pathway. imagine trying bring ropes, and crowbars with you through the tight tunnel. It was a nightmare for the rescuers, and the people trapped by the braphog.

THE adventure that trapped overweight Veronica Hlabelela in the Tunnel of Love at the Cango Caves in Oudtshoorn on New Year‘s Day, could cost as much as R15 000. But whoever ends up footing the bill, the drama – which was reported around the globe – has meant a huge publicity boost for the tourist attraction with visitors now flooding in to see where Hlabelela got stuck.
Hlabelela, 37, of Durban, was trapped in a 50cm-wide tunnel for over nine hours with 23 other people behind her, including a person with diabetes and a child. In real terms, the cost could be much higher, but government-run rescue services and NGOs will absorb the expenses themselves.
Representatives from these organisations, however, have said the cost of a rescue mission is not something they consider when it comes to saving someone‘s life.
“The government emergency rescue services are run by a province (in this case, Western Cape) and are reliant on government subsidies, which absorb the costs of rescue operations,” said Eden District emergency services spokesman Dion van Wyk. NSRI, which operates as an NGO and which is called out repeatedly to rescue people who have not heeded warnings, also does not consider the financial aspects of rescue operations. “The cost of an emergency is not taken into consideration when a person‘s life is at stake. Our aim is to rescue people irrespective of costs,” said Craig Lambinon, NSRI spokesman.
“Our organisation relies on sponsorships and donations. After we have done a rescue operation, we ask for a donation if possible from the people concerned.” However, the private ambulance service Ambu 911 of Oudtshoorn said they would invoice the Cango Caves for their part in the rescue which took over nine hours, with over 20 rescue personnel from different units being called out.
“The cost is in the region of R10 000 to R15 000, inclusive of all equipment needed,” said manager Anthony Fivas. “We expect the cost to be covered by the Cango Caves‘ insurance which covers emergencies such as this.”
Hein Gertsner, manager of the Cango Caves – which belongs to Oudtshoorn municipality – will meet municipal officials after January 15 to discuss whether or not Hlabelela will have to pay any costs to the municipality. “The final cost of the rescue operation is pure guesswork at the moment,” Gertsner said. “However we have had the best free advertising we could wish for as the news has become known worldwide.”
After a worryingly slow start to the season, numbers at the caves picked up over Christmas. After the incident was made public, the adventure tour was booked out on January 2 and people are still flooding in. Gertsner said visitors specifically asked to go to the Tunnel of Love and wanted to know where the woman was stuck. “You never know – this (the rescue) could just turn us around financially and make it one of the best seasons ever,” said Gertsner.

In case you haven't heard me writing this at least one thousand and one times, League of Legends is a 5vs5 multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA). You pick a hero, select a lane and try to destroy the enemies along the way to their main structure which ends the game. They - of course - try to do the same. MOBAs have achieved worldwide success and are the most played and most watched genre of competitive esports with titles such as League or Dota. To emphasize what I said previously, Moki is not a great player. She's not even particularly good. You see, League uses a rank system to accurately gauge your skills as a player. You win a game, you get points. You lose a game, you lose points. Gain enough points and you'll go up one rank. The rank you achieve in these sorts of games reflects your abilities as a player. Most professional players easily reach the upper echelons (as in Challenger reserved for the best 300 players of the server) without even trying but Moki struggles to get out of Gold - something that currently puts her only in the 25% of players. You may ask yourself why she's even bothering to try to play professionally but neither the female nor the Arabic scene is good enough to be picky to refuse such a perfect drama queen.

I think its about time to make this fair for everyone and just have a trans-only tournament away from female tournaments so other female players dont get bullied and harassed like this after losing against biological males in a female tournament.

1. I once played in a team with moki. It was the worst experience i had in a female team. Our jgler was living in Jerusalem where bombs started to fall because of Religious reasons (if you remember). Once in a scrim we heard sirens going off in her background.
2. I tbh was terrified but moki showed no sign it was the other way around. She started to attack our jgler who has no belief in any religion and no part in this war who just happened to live there. To the point where our jgler left in tears having a severe attack.
3. Then later we had a meeting with everyone. I told our jgler she should tell moki to say that we are here to play a game to improve together and it should not matter what skin colour we have, where we are from or what our believes are etc. Its about the game.
4. Moki answered this if our jgler has any regrets cause she said Jerusalem and not the Muslim name. Our jgler said no. Moki then got completely out of control screaming at her being really rude and saying after we tried to calm her down and jgl already left having an anxiety
5. Attack. I quote: what would you do if someone in your team has killed your mother. From that point on it all got out of hands but I can say in a talk from over 2h she could not understand it. We all reported the recording to the org at the time galaxy racer.
6. But instead of doing something they kicked all of us because moki was friends with the managers. And she got away with this bullshit. This experience made me not play in a female team for a long time. And it still makes me incredibly mad and now this shit. Please. Just idk man Idk how she always manages to find a way back but this behaviour is not acceptable and tbh I think she's just truly evil and lives for that type of shit. There should be no room for something like this. Trans rights!
