Middle Earth: Shadow of War, which I bought years ago and never touched. It's kind of shit. Apart from the Nemesis system, it plays exactly like an Assassin's Creed game.

I might play Thief: The Black Parade instead the mod team went silent for years, so I didn't want to get my hopes up, but the reviews look pretty darn good.

Playing Rogue Trader, kinda love it. It was made by the same people who made Pathfinder, but the fighting feels a lot less tedious

I'm actually coming around to Far Cry 6. Hated it at first, the story was cringe (every violent, hardened revolutionary is a hot 22-yo latinxx), the game has you doing way too much shit, but after about 10 hours it starts to leave you alone so you can thrash around and take over bases, and run over alligators with your '57 chevy, and take running leaps off of mountains to wingsuit your way down. Which, oh yeah, I forgot that's what FC5 was, too. Like 10 hours of "muh story!!" before they finally leave you alone to go cause mayhem.

Also Hob since it's been sitting in my backlog forever, and it's the prototypical indie game. No speech, light, easy gameplay/puzzles, simple textures and candy colors... not sure if I want to keep going. It's fine but it's also a bit of a snore.

Played through Rollerdrome, pretty fun 8-10 hour indie game. Started Sniper Elite 4, kindof meh

Finished my first bg3 playthrough and started cult of the lamb - pretty cute. Also canceled my pre order for ff7 rebirth, just gonna wait till its half off at gamefly and need to focus on my backlog, especially games from 2022 and 2023.

Still haven't finished BG3 but I haven't picked it back up since I started playing CK3. Did start a colony in Rimworld a few days ago, haven't played since Biotech was released and it's been a lot of fun getting back into it.

Currently playing through brutal legend. It's a game i've started numerous times but have always bounced off of once the RTS bits get introduced. They're not terrible (and i'd argue that the hack and slash combat is worse, even) but it's definitely not my cup of tea but at least everything else surrounding it is pretty cool.

Also been playing Splatoon and Mario kart 8's online on the Wii U. Servers shut down on the 8th of April so might as well have my fun before the pretendo network invariably takes a year to become usable and has exactly 3 people playing at peak.

I bought Final Fantasy 7 Remake on a whim a couple of weeks ago and I completed it this evening. Would you believe it's the first Final Fantasy game I've ever played? I really liked it - much more than I had anticipated! The setting and themes are really compelling, and even though the story itself is awash in anime nonsense, I found it difficult to pull myself away from it. Visually it's a treat too, although when you get up close there are some pretty rough textures. There are a bunch of other criticisms I have too, but overall it was a good time.

I FINALLY FINISHED GROUNDED. I'm so glad to have finally got that one done, and I feel like it wrapped up really nicely. We stumbled across the requisite for the good ending completely by chance, which was cool. I think it might be my favorite one-of-those games simply because it has a defined beginning, middle and end.

I've now moved on to playing the Elden Ring seamless co-op mod with my friend. So far we're having a pretty good time, but I wonder how we'll cope when we get to the harder bosses. So far the toughest boss we've beaten was Godrick, but I was surprised how quickly we got through all of the Evergaol bosses along the way. I distinctly remember them being a stiffer challenge when I did it solo. I can't wait to see what a shitshow Radahn is.

I'm trying to build a sword/sorcery build but I'm concerned about how much I'm going to have to split my attribute points; most specifically, I'm concerned that I can't devote many points to END. It's my friend's first Souls game so I'm going to have to draw aggro to myself a lot, which might be tough. I completed Dark Souls 3 with a super low level character for PvP purposes but I never really got the hang of Elden Ring, so I'm concerned I might find myself being very fragile later on.

I'd really like people's suggestions for how to build out a spellsword character!

I finished Ender Lilies. It was pretty good, 7/10 or so. Has the same problem many games do where it gives you a lot of options for attacking but little reason to use them imo

This week's entry will be NieR: Automata

I've finished Nier: Replicant for the first time just two days ago! But I won't be playing Automata for a while because that game was just depressing. Kaine was pretty cringy and it was hard to take her seriously with that outfit. I had another outfit unlocked for her but her eyes were covered and I didn't want that because it would ruin the cutscenes. Emil was even worse though, he was so whiny, no wonder he is a homo. Weiss was my favorite. I actually wanted to uninstall the game until I met Weiss, he saved the whole story.

Also finished an indie horror game today called Blood West made by a Polish dev. Good gameplay, nice PS1-style graphics and very good voice acting.

Today I want to set up an emulator to play SH1 tomorrow. It's the first time I'll play the SH series and I'm excited.

I also have Cyberpunk 2077 installed and I'll get on it tomorrow too.

hylics 1 and 2, some1 mentioned them on thread before and it looked interesting.

first game is more like a rpgmaker proof of concept but it was still cool. hylics 2 improves on pretty much every aspect of the first game (except the music in some parts imo) and feels it fully fleshed out. overall id give it 8.5/10

Im on my third playthrough of Prey. That game has sorta ruined games for me cause every time i play a new game im like "why isn't this Prey?". Ive gone back and played some of thief, system shock 2, and deus ex, and i enjoy them but they feel pretty outdated and clunky... so im just back to playing Prey again. Im doing a nightmare run with no powerups and all the survival features turned on. Its good

I started ghost trick but ghost trick and re4 remake have taken a backseat to playing isaac

Finally got into Pokemon GO and Pikmin Bloom now that I'm actively going for walks outside daily. Both aren't perfect, but I find them pretty fun, especially since I can go on walks with others for increased rewards. Hoping to average 9k steps daily and I'm already pretty close.

Now I'm looking at getting the cheapest Google Fit compatible fitness tracker and quality running shoes lol.

Still playing through Palworld. Started on Blazblue autism too since the games are fun and the lore is schizophrenic just how I like it
