I'm playing Tetris, Minesweeper, and Connections on the NY Times site

I just recently finished Horizon Forbidden West and the DLC for it. The gameplay is genuinely a lot of fun and the overall story is enjoyable, but the characterization for the bad guys in the series took a tumble compared to the first one; it's peak "aren't billionaires evil" writing. There's a character in the series called Ted Faro who's responsbile for everything in the series, and they changed him from being someone who was prone to mistakes and becomes so guilt ridden that he would commit awful acts, to a megalomaniac cartoonish villain.

Currently playing “Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth”. Ive put in dozens of hours and barely touched the main story.

Still going through Command & Conquer series.

After Kane's Wrath, I now went back to Generals.

As much I like the game the campaign is not it's strongsuit, especially base game one. I'm not sure you can even say it has any story besides oh no! Terrorist attack.

The biggest issue is how easy it is, but that may be caused by 20 years of experience with the game.

Currently downloading Dragon's Dogma. Saw it at a ridiculous discount and remembered that the sequel is coming out soon, so maybe I can join the festivities when it drops. Had no prior interest, besides knowing that it is generally praised as an rpg and has tons of people on /v/ sucking it off. Surprised that apparently it only has one instalment, as the general buzz around it made it sound like a proper franchise. If all that stuff I read about is contained within just one game, then I might be in for some good time. It is always a cointoss with japanese developers in my experience. Outside of Kojimbo and Soulslop I rarely enjoyed eastern game exports. I guess I am too west-coded for my own good

Made it to Fountainhead Palace in Sekiro. This game has some really sick fights, and you feel badass when you get a good rhythm going. I also love the ability to re-fight bosses on the same file. It helps you practice and understand the game better, and it's nice to repeat a cool moment instead of having to start the whole game over.

when are they gonna release isaac multiplayer

Was playing enshrouded and I've hit a wall I usually do with these types of games. Need more structure and rewards to keep the hamster wheel going.

I will stop playing hades and get back to dishonored, but I just need to get a sub 10 run-

I've been trying to get into Armored Core 6 this past week but it just isn't hooking me in.

I'm at the part where you first encounter the massive worm and that was a cool moment and all, but i've decided to take a break for now as the combat just feels really simple and not very challenging. Spamming attacks and dodges seem to get the job done 90% of the time.

Now i'm back to playing Slay The Spire until I get a second wind.

A girl im talking to got me to play genshin impact with her and honestly, its awesome. I don't get the hate at all for that game

I finally bought Red Dead Redemption 2. I'll give it a spin this week.

Played a bit of Palworld. Found out again that I really, really don't enjoy survival/basebuilding games when they're not isometric.

Started replaying Kingdom Hearts 1 (the best KH game) last night. It's such a shame the series took such a shitty direction in gameplay and story

I played mortal kombat 11 recently when i had access to a television. I suck at it now

Fun fact: no company has ever been able to produce an AI which can consistently distinguish between monkeys and black people. Self-driving cars are here, so are universal voice translators, self-aiming guns, and pocket-computers which can recognize every single product in a live video. But distinguishing between monkeys and black people is as difficult as solving a millenium prize problem, teams of PHD computer scientists will be working on it for decades before they get a solution which works well enough to be media-outrage-proof.

When someone finally finds the solution, they won't be make headlines, but they'll be happy knowing they solved the AI problem of the century. They'll tell normies that they just fiddle around with facial recognition algorithms all day, but to people in the know, he'll be known as "Tom, the absolute genius who spent 26 years teaching google images how to tell blacks apart from apes".
