I've been playing Balatro. Beat all of the basic colored decks, now I'm trying out the complex ones. Pretty fun, but not sure if I'll get more than 20h out of it. Also been playing Songs of Syx, on a dramatard's recommendation. There's aspects I like, but the micro intensity is a little annoying, and there's much less emergent behavior than I'd like.

In terms of slop, I'm still working my way through the BO3 Zombies easter eggs with the boys, which is shockingly difficult, and playing League.

Played some Balatro. Got bored five hours in. MID.

Played Age of Wonders 4. Giga mid.

Played Heroes 3. Unironic goat shit.

Had to convince myself not to buy a PS5 for the new FF7 Remake Rebirth Remaster so I'll just goon to Tifa like it is 1997 again.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong, which I like but is way too short.

Got the batman arkham bundle and was playing through asylum before my laptop decided to screw me over by just shutting down in the middle of doing work and refusing to turn on .

Now its gone for 3-4 days which might be a good thing though given exams are going on rn.

I just love shooting turkeys and chasing goats down with a shotgun.

It's a great game if you love sneaking around the forest to shoot animals and develop a deep hatred towards moose. It drops down to $5 on steam regularly and you can play the DLC maps for free on the online servers.

Rated the game of the week a 1/10 despite never playing it. The REAL game of the week is that poker rogue-like. Not this libertarian SLOP

Back to eu4 after 2 years, again ignored vanilla and jumped straight into Anbennar

Cult of the Lamb, really loving the game so far. It has some small inconveniences, but I'm really liking it as a whole. I think the difficulty is perfect on hard. Huge fan of the fishing minigame, way better than Stardew's in terms of controls, think games could learn from it.

Last epoch, elden ring when the servers for last epoch are pooping the bed (80% of the time) also some sprinkling of granblue versus and sf6 as new characters added and big cup hype.

More Far Cry 6. Jesus christo I've played for like 25 hrs. already and "completed" maybe 10% of the total map? It's fun, scanning a base with your camera to mark snipers and soldiers and slinking around to violently murder them one by one almost never gets old, but there's gotta be 100 hours worth of shit to do in this game. Which seems like modern Ubisoft in AC, FC, and their other main franchises: overstuffed

Also Balatro. I don't think I'm neurodivergent enough for this game. It's fun but it smells more like armpits than it does tacky cologne, which is to say it's more of a nerd card game than a poker game. Maybe I'll get the hang of it but it's like Pokemon Poker or something, so many powerups and modifiers and special this and thats.

And Cash Cow DX. Another brilliant throwback arcade game from the makers of Donut Dodo. Pretty hard, but like Pac-Man it's a game that rewards finding a specific pattern to take and sticking to it as best as you can.

Was feeling spendy last night and bought some big ones on Steam sale -- Pacific Drive, Jagged Alliance 3, Ultros, some others. Hope to get to Pacific Drive soon.
