I've heard complaints that the games here are too obscure to discuss. This is blatantly false as the next entry will have a lot of votes :daydream:

sadly blobber games have always sucked and you can only really enjoy them if you

(i) are actually neurodivergent/incel/libertarian

(ii) grew up with 'em

I kinda like that you can play this in mam8 which adds a lot of improvements

someday I'll play world of xeen (adds might and magic 4 and 5 together) but not in this life :marseygiveup:

:marseyakshually: Old-school, first person RPGs like Legends of Grimrock, Might and Magic (not heroes), early Megami Tensei, Etrian Odyssey, Dungeon Master and Wizardry where your whole party is merged into one blob. Usually but not always grid based. They used to be called Dungeon Crawlers, but then people started using that term for games like Diablo.

They're all but dead in the west, though Japan constantly shits out crappy ones.
