I'm playing Pillars of Eternity 1. I had a terrible time in the character creator because I wanted to play as female paladin that wasn't one of the 'oh I want to save innocents' or edgelord stereotypes. The one order left sounded fun but storywise it best fits to play as a race of black people. So all the character protrait packs I found online were useless because g*mers are... you know and only make portraits of blonde/ginger women. There was one in game portrait that was made to represent the exact class/background but she looked like a smug b-word. There was one other black female portrait representing a rogue/highwayperson/pirate, so I just went with that but then it turned out that I couldn't think of a satifying reason for a paladin of that order to be where I was at the start of the game. I then took 3 days deciding what to do and eventually ended up playing a rogue with that portrait instead. I then didn't have any in-universe requirement to play as a black women but decided to stick with to prove myself.

And I'm also playing Crusader Kings 3. I played it a lot and got bored after 1,000 hours but I'm trying out the new plague mechanic. It's pretty decent but it's another mechanic that barely has any negative effect on the player as any apocalyptic disease seems to spread rapidly right up to my borders, my physician says, 'we should do something', I say 'yes', I then get 'major plague resistance', and it stops on my border. If you're like me and feel like you're done with the game, the DLC so far this year won't change anything.
