I remember the devs shilling the New War for like 3 years straight, it comes out and it's fricking nothing. No new gameplay additions, one-off gimmick sections (we ripped off MGS Revengeance
), the Sentient are barely present, plus a giant fricking timeskip. Keep yourself safe Steve, you absolute cute twink.

I'm yet to do Sacrifice actually, but I've heard the same.
The creators are obviously progressive, and like with most modern entertainment I belive it has negative impact on what they write. When I met Ticker I thought it was some flamboyant gay guy but apparently he is trans and keeps his male voice even though he has a robot head. If he did g*mers wouldn't know he is trans, I guess.
Honestly I don't care much about the story, it's a nice bonus when it's good but I simply enjoy shooting and cutting enemies. Not much else to it.
