Game to Discuss?
This week, let's discuss Hollow Knight. At one point I'd thought it was a 2D dark souls, but in replaying it (some) this week, it seems like it's actually a more typical metroidvania! Who woulda thought? It's shockingly well put together, especially considering that it's an indie game, with gorgeous art and a decent soundtrack. Enemies are pretty varied. The losing your soul on death mechanic is pretty annoying, and doesn't really make a big difference in how the game works, but there are few other missteps. Discuss below, and vote in the pinned comment.

@Dramamine got hanging from digital rope, I see big things in the future for the monkey, made rethink reading women in writing, even if they start hating their husbands by chapter 32. Left brain right brain has been fighting it out so I so I've also been playing 6 hour long reddit documentaries too to justify 15 years wasted trying to have fun. My personal favorite; you're trapped in a abusive memory with an abuser but the game tricks you 30 minutes in and then it becomes that standard butt apolitical fun shit, but from the 90s so no QoL features on how you kill abusers and abused.
