System Shock (1994). I have no clue what I'm doing, I'm still trying to disable the laser but I have no idea how to get the isotope out of the box (the suspicious glowy thing in the radioactive room under glass on level 2, but somewhere else they said it's in a briefcase? What the frick?). All of the tutorials and stuff are for the remake, so I may just be fricking r-slurred and should pony up the 18 bucks to get the better experience.

This week I've been nolifing Vicky 3. It's pretty good, the building ownership change is a lil complicated, but I prefer it overall. Also picked up the new designated CHVD game, Soulash 2 - it's a competently made roguelike, the DF adventure mode to accompany the Rimworld fortress mode - not in the sense that the games align thematically or anything like that, Soulash's setting is much closer to the DF setting, and I'd say it's an easy 7-8/10, but then it has fricking MMO skills with cooldowns and scaling WHICH MAKES IT A 0/10

Also: Norland, which is promising, but they really did a bad job at repainting medieval europe I like everything about the game, but the setting is very ehhh + no random maps, which would make the game a lot more interesting. Regardless, it's still a promising title, and I'd recommend it, just so long as you ignore the very dumb worldbuilding.

I'm playing rdr2.

This is my second playthrough so I'm going to try and 100 percent it. I platinum'd/100% rdr1/undead nightmare last week.

That means a lot of hunting which I'm doing now. Although The Legend of the East Satchel isn't covered by 100%, I'm going for it. Prolly gonna hunt the legendaries to extinction, also.

I don't like this game as much as it's predecessor. Rockstar seemed more focused on making rdr2 an "experience" instead of a video game. It's chaming at times, but holy frick do I hate pulling the trigger twice for repeaters. Arthur should've headshotted that southern cute twink but no, i forgot to cycle the next round. Also horse permadeath can lick my fricking taint.

It's still a great game. I love antagonizing everyone at camp (arthur is the only one bringing in money, doing chores, and overall getting shit done, he certainly should unless you're a cute twink pushover) and going to every camp I see to put myself in a self defense situation makes me feel like a prototype David Toschi.

Holy shit this went long.

Also bought astro-bot yesterday. Played it for a few mins but went right back to rdr2.

I'm busy with Resident Evil Village. Very scary tbh

Reliving my childhood with MechWarrior 2

I got one of my bros into Shadow Empire . Normally I don't do much multiplayer but I'm thinking of asking him to play with me.

Still stuck in Bannerlord, still don't really know wtf I'm doing, but it's been fun. Runnin around with a gang of neighbors cuttin folks up with a big butt sword and then going to town and making more big butt swords to sell.

I'm about to beat Ape Escape and I kinda wish I'd played the UK version because all of the monkey descriptions are hilarious.

It's funny because neither english translation is "definitively" accurate. They both change stuff and they both change different stuff.

Not much free time this week so couldn't get back to retro achievement hunting. Played a little more Singularity, which starts getting really cool once the time shifting weapons are introduced. Also spent time getting Test Drive Unlimited 2 working on my W11 rig. Kind of a low key obsession of mine lately to re-visit Vista/7/8 era games and get them working on modern Windows. 9 times out of 10 it's do-able, but sometimes I just hit a wall despite throwing every trick at it, like with Geometry Wars for some reason.

Bought Cyberpunk 2077 from GOG since it was on sale. Only a few hours in but it's bretty good so far.

Been too busy for vidya. It's gonna take forever to get through DA Inquisition

I've been playing space marine 2, I havent been that impressed yet with the limited customization options, the lack of a decent OST vs the first, and basically 90% of the campaign is a rehash of the first game like wtf.

Was playing Doom Eternal but the Spirit enemies in the DLC have me seething so hard I've burned out completely on it. I'm thinking I'll play Prey next but not certain since Dishonored 2 left me with an extremely poor impression of the studio behind it.

Silent hill 4, the room. Very clunky so far but bursting with potential. This one really should be remade and get the love it deserves

I'm currently playing The Room (a puzzle game) and just beat Chapter 2, very fun!

I'll be playing Space Marines 2 when it releases tomorrow

Doom eternals 2nd dlc ran out of ideas for enemies, and the hammer is making things easier.
