I hate Sea of Thieves it's ruining my life

Might finally pick up Helldivers because enough of my friends still play it

Been trying a lot of boomer shooters

Played selaco, it was fricking great. Played a bit of ion fury, its ok.

Also playing prince of persia the lost crown which is a surprisingly good metroidvania

Koifish talked me into going back and doing Mount and Blade: Warband again. I went for Swadian Impoverished Noble, which I never really did before (surprisingly) and was little surprised how quickly they handed me a bunch of filthy peasants to lord over.

Now I went from fighting the annoying Khergits to the annoying Rhodocks. I tried following along with the marshal like a good boy, but they don't know how to win wars (save scumming till you conquer a city with 28 dudes).

Honoring Xi Jinping and the Lunar New Year by playing Dynasty Warriors Origins.

It's REALLY good. The voice acting is solid, but the actors don't talk like they're in the same room as each other, it's hilarious at times.

P.S. you still should not pursue Lu Bu.

Finally finished Hollow Knight after a few weeks/months.

Wonderful game. Beautiful visuals and great atmospheric music. The world building is subtle and non-neurodivergent, character design is fun. Gameplay and map design are great and scratch the Metroidvania itch perfectly.

The rare time I have gaming to myself this last week has been bum simulator.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. Kinda fun, although the combat doesn't work as well as the Batman games it's obviously aping.

I don't buy "orcs are le black people!" (I mean most of them have low class British accents, come on), but I think that inherently evil hideous humanoid monsters with culture and language, when combined with open world M-rated vidya violence, ends up giving off this weird genocidal vibe. In the movies, the orcs are a frightening enemy army. In this game, your overpowered unkillable ubermensch just sees that something is an orc, and then you run up to him and gleefully gut him like a fish before you explode his mate's head and then dominate another one's mind with elf magic to make him murder his own kind. Kill orcs. Behead orcs. Roundhouse kick an orc into the concrete.

I'm sure that someone on the writing team would be at least vaguely aware of how this gameplay loop is mismatched to Tolkien. But even if the story ends up complicating the murder spree, it's still what the entire game is built around. It's fun, but the only way to really play it is to forget about LOTR and accept that it's just another bloody bideo game Skinner box where you get a little bit of jouissance every time another filthy subhuman's head explodes.

Lately I've been playing Death Stranding.

Really enjoy it. I've actually been a bit slow at progressing the story because of how often I get sidetracked by doing random orders.

Just the other day I got to the story mission where you human traffic an Azn to a libertarian so you can earn his trust.

I got the new operative in Snowbreak but according to my neighbor r-slur foid that gacha is a big nono while she and her friends play other gacha games that are ten times worse. It legit makes md mad, thank god I don't plsy DBd with them any longer that was legit torture.

I'm @ chapter 3 in DW Origins, I've wasted so much time doing the repetitive missions that I'm already 20h in without picking a faction. Bad!

I've ragequit, uninstalled and immediately reinstalled Valkyria Chronicles. This game is just r-slurred bullshit. I'll scout rush all remaining missions, tactical game my peepee!

I will skip KCD2 until they patch the jank away (lol) so the next big release for me will be Avowed.

I finished the car in My Summer Car (easy) and tuned it shitty enough to drive. I've finally done enough jobs to pay for aftermarket parts and tune the car properly at the shop. I found a massive stash of moonshine bottles to use. Now I just have to make it home without dying and I should be good for the weekend

Fallout New Vegas. Never played it. Great game. Really shows a lot of the flaws with FO4 and along with Starfield I'm really starting to think elder scrolls 6 will be a disaster.

KCD2 comes out tomorrow and I am hyped

I was ranked below average but accidentally got better at this game and now I'm just average which is a bit less fun because everyone is slightly less angry and there are less funny moments. Like Lifeweaver 'saving' someone just as he's about to kill another guy is a classic but doesn't really happen any more.
