Landrys is the worst company i ever worked for. And they are also horrible at business. When they took over BRGuest in NYC their goons (I refuse to call them anything but that) came in and changed everything. For the worse. They told me to fire 40% of my staff and if I couldn't find a reason to I was not doing my job. They ignored the Donn doff law and had signs at terminals saying "do not clock in until fully in uniform" which is…illegal. They got rid of the time card adjustment signatures. Which is required in nyc. Any time you adjust a staffs time card they have to sign off on it. Very simple. Yes it was a huge restaurant and yes it took a lot of time to do 3 times a shift (people forgot to clock in, people for got to clock out for they break, etc…) but it's the law. They did away with it. It's a HUGE lawsuit. Every single employee can sue for incorrect hour reporting. It's usually a class action and lawyers make most of the money, but it's an easy slam dunk case for any law firm... The new Starbucks CEO announced that Starbucks isn't a free hangout space anymore. That means you can only be in a Starbucks if you pay for something. This stops homeless people from living in a Starbucks and getting:

A common complaint on /r/starbucksbaristas is that the staff are tired of having to deal with homeless people - they spend all day in the stores, lock themselves in the bathroom for hours at a time while shooting up, and they often have to call the police. For example:

2024 YR4 is an asteroid recently discovered by scientists in Chile (it's not the flying Tesla "asteroid", this one is legit). It is an "Apollo-type" near-Earth object that crosses our planet's orbit.

This week, scientists learned it had a 1.2%-1.6% chance of hitting Earth on 22 December 2032.

At a diameter of between 40 and 100 metres (130 and 330 ft), an impact with the ground could release approximately 8 megatons of destructive energy.

For reference, that is 533 times the bomb at Hiroshima and more than double the maximum yield of a US Navy Trident II ICMB.

All this places 2024 YR4 at a troubling 3 (out of 10) on the Torino Scale of impact hazards. It is the only non-0 threat, and the second highest ever recorded, exceeded only briefly in 2004 by 99942 Apophis before closer observations revealed that asteroid would not hit Earth.

So that is the bad news. Ready for the good news?

Calculations by NASA and the ESA show that 2024 YR4's "risk corridor" (where it would hit) doesn't pose a threat to anywhere important.

Goat Simulator. I truthfully forgot about this game from the moment I last closed it (around 7 years ago) til about a week ago, when I'd forgotten whatever it was I'd originally wanted to say about Satisfactory. I have just under an hour of play time, representing a single playing session, and half-memories of the madcap mixture of genres, outright bugs, "bugs," and attempts at humor which probably come off as dated, even to the erudite and learned rdrama dot net. Yeah there's a lot of stuff missing here. I had a boyfriend once who's toenail wouldn't grow. He didn't have a rampant fungus problem but that one toenail did. My first suggestion was to go to the doctor, they have easy solutions for it. He kept googling household hacks and trying to fix it himself. It wasn't even a „his body is bothering me" issue.
